The Beginning (20)

Taking my bicycle that I bought with a lot of adjustments, I started to make my way to Dawns house.

"Damn I still haven't made a decision on what I'm gonna pick." I groaned out while putting my bicycle into my spatial ring.

I never really thought about what started to get as I've always been too busy with my app or training my Pokemon.

I'm not in a hurry right now so I'll take my time. Walking through the neighbourhood I've been living at for 14 years now, I start to reminisce about my time here.

'Next time I come back, I'll either be in the middle of my journey or the Sinnoh league champion.' I say to myself resolutely.

I'll message my mum every night if I can, I'm kind of a mother boy but that's not the point. I like getting spoilt by her.

While on the walk I take a post card out of my pockets. It has the images of all three starters and reads out all the three starters and their types.

This also a pass to get the Pokedex, a multi functional tool that is pretty useful. You can scan Pokemon to see what they are and their move sets.

I've wanted to try one out for a long time because I don't know all of my Pokemons moves, rather I forget to remember them all. I got the purple one because it's the superior colour and factually the best one.

It shows the general stats for every Pokemon as well if it can measure it. This usually works for weaker Pokemon but just straight up doesn't work for stronger Pokemon which become more common the more you battle.

-Master have you decided?- Aegislash chimes in curious on who I would pick. Rubbing my chin I start to think of the possible team members I could have.

-I haven't decided yet but it will most likely be Chimchar or Turtwig.- I respond now in front of Dawn's house. I didn't want to affect her overall decision because of her saving by Piplup, so I'm just gonna "wait" in the lab while she does her hero stuff.

I also want to see the part where she "meets" the legendary Pokemon as I've never seen one myself.

Walking up to the door oh Dawn's house I start to knock on it.

*Knock knock*

A few seconds after this, the door opens .

"Why hello Aichi, you here for Dawn?" A familiar voice asks me as the door reveals Johanna in an apron. It seems to be that she just finished cooking breakfast.

"Yes m'am, is Dawn ready?" I reply with a question. Johanna hearing me, shakes her head while ushering me into the house to sit with them for breakfast.

Of course Dawn was still sleeping, what was I expecting. She takes years to fix herself up as well, but I'll help by combing her hair myself.

After a little bit of me playing some Flappy Pidgey that I made last year, Dawn comes down stairs in her pyjamas.

"Aichi!" She squeals out seeing me on my phone. Looking over at Dawn with her unkempt appearance, I start to smirk.

"What a lovely future top coordinator we have here~" I say teasingly. Dawn blushing at my statement, runs back up to her room and starts to tidy herself.

"What Pokemon do you think you'll pick Aichi?" Dawn asks me for the 100th time this lifetime. Adopting a tired look I just pretend to sleep.

"Humph! Okay be like that then." She says turning to her food with a pout. The three of us ended up having a nice breakfast together where we just chatted and had a great time overall.

While Dawn fawned over all of the starters separately, I secretly took some of her food while Johanna looked at this with a smile.

After we finished eating, we made ourselves outside of the house to where we would say our final goodbyes.

"I guess it's time." Johanna says in a melancholic voice. Dawn hearing this reassures her mum and starts to tell her all about how she would call her as much as she could.

"Dawn take this, it's my first ever ribbon. You can use it as a good luck charm." Johanna says with a smile.

"Can I really keep it?" Dawn says surprised with stars in her eyes. Johanna reassuring Dawn that it's fine said her final goodbyes as I was already on my bike ready to go.

Dawn coming down the stairs, gets on her bike and pulls out a card similar to what I have.

"Let's go Dawn." I call out as we both start to make our way to Sandgem town. My bike with some custom adjustments was able to make it auto-repairable as its made of the stuff the inside of stadiums are used.

It was expensive but with my new income of money from advertisements in PokeBook it wasn't too bad. For these past four years PokeBook was able to make over 95 million pokedollars, which is a lot.

Not sure how much it is in other world currency but it's similar to Australian dollars.

I could practically buy myself a villa and live the rest of my life in luxury, but that isn't the point of being in this world.

That can be saved for later.

"I'll follow you Dawn, hopefully you actually find your way this time." I say with a smirk making her get an infuriated look.

"I know my directions." She argues back. Ignoring her for a few seconds, we started to make our way towards Sandgem Town.
