7 ch 7 ( two years )

( i am gonna rush through this two years in this chapter )

I been here for a couple of weeks and everything is going fine .

I am currently in the pokemon sanctuary of the lab giving food to the pokemon this sanctuary is in a radius of 7.5 miles it is fenced all around and is divided into four parts from the centre by an artificial river. the centre is where a water plant is build to keep the river going .

all four parts of the sanctuary has diffrent vegetation and land conditions for diffrent pokemons some machines are also placed in one of the sections to create an artificially icy and cold environment. this sanctuary has more than 150 species of pokemon currently living here .

about my studies . I am being taught by prof .Keth she is incharge of the interns . including me there are 7 others 4 from kanto , two from jhoto and the last one is from alola . most of the time we are observing or doing some minor helps to the assistant professors . all the interns have to do a single task in these two years that is to write an personal observation report about every pokemon who is currently in lab's care . the report should entail about a pokemons diet there food preference , habitats ,evolutions ,there maturity age , physical growth and diseases they are susceptible to . i have yet to start making my report but I am not to worried about it .

as for riolu's training he is making progress although slowly but it is what you expect .a pokemon grows faster the more he battles and children below 12 are not allowed to battle . there are several reasons for that first in these two years the league expect us to form a good relationship and understanding with our first pokemon as in the past rushing into battles with new pokemon has never gone well because both the trainer and pokemon are strangers that know they have to work together but do not completely trust each others judgment. secondly when you capture new pokemon if your first pokemon does not completely trust you that lack of trust will transmute to every pokemon you have and that would lead to pokemon leaving you .

thirdly this two year period is used to rule out the incompetent trainers whose first pokemon left them , do not listen to them and has become destructive. and lastly in this two years period students are taught how to train there pokemon , ho to do pokemon battles , diffrent strategies in diffrent topographical environments , type and quantity of food given to diffrent pokemon, survival training for camping they are also taught about self defense.

I finished delivering the food then went to the gym to do some training not a pokemon gym but a regular exercising gym . it is owned by Blue prof. oaks son . I entered the gym building to see Gary flossing over the girls like usual i made my way towards the treadmill as I let riolu out of the pokeball we did some stretching and then got on the machines we spent an hour on the gym then we left for the lab .

( months later )

several months have passed with me living here i

am halfway through my report I will finish it in two months easily . professor oak now occasionally teaches us regarding pokemon battles as me and other interns requested him to . me and riolu also made a new friend not a human but a pokemon gastly he lives in the lab not outside in the sanctuary because he hates the sun . he was a pokemon that was rescued by people of the town than brought into the lab .

we both get along nicely as we share the same hobby of prankining people he sometimes follow me around in my shadow and sleeps in my room .

( two months later)

I have completed my report and i have given it to prof. keth for the remaining 8 months i am free to

fuck around . but I am not planning on doing that I am currently working on a personal project that will help me become an assistant professor .

becoming an assistant professor will allow me to carry eight extra pokemon with me .

this project is regarding evee evolution there are currently 5 known evee evolutions glaceon leafeon and Sylveon are yet to be discovered. and good number of resrchers are working on it which could have been bad as the pokemon research community is very toxic they would have stolen my reserch or tried to degrade it . but I am not worried as this reserch would be under prof. oaks lab name and I am the grandson of a former elite four so they can shove it .

I know the theory from the game and anime but I need practical results to show . I made my way to the second floor to the A.R room no one was inside as I expected . I requested this room from prof. oak and he gave me permission because currently no one requires it and there is also another A.R room available . i took my seat on the computer and started the machine .A .R stands for artifical recollection its the name of the machine it creates an artifical pokemon through a hologram this machine was developed as physical experiment on pokemon have led to many pokemon deaths . it helps researchers study and experiment with pokemon easily without any repercussions . I created an evee and it appeared as a hologram i know how it will evolve but I have to build a story of failures and a loop to the final result to make it seem that I actually did some genuine work otherwise I will have allot of fingers pointing at me .

( 4 months later )

I am finally done this whole bullshit of making a fake story to make my work genuine has been a real pain , I can't belive how much effort it took but I am done at last . I made my way out of the room to call prof. oak I found him in the sanctuary running away from a group of beedrills this man really is a character the bees made there way back and i approached professor oak .

" professor I have something to show you " dio said as he approached professor oak .

" is it regarding your project are you stuck on something " oak said as he stood up from the ground and swatted the dust away . he knows dio has been working on something for the past four months after he completed his report he expected him to ask for help from him or others .

because he expected him to face a roadblock in his reserch which is the reality of every reserch .

" its the opposite I have completed it and the results are quite good " dio said he knows everyone expected him to fail as it was his first project done by him alone .

" what show me then " professor said with a good amount of shock reflecting on his face .

dio and professor oak made there way back to the A.R room dio handed a file to professor oak . oak read the file and he became surprised as he reached the end and a big smile formed on his face as he closed the file. he looked at dio

" excellent work , I did not expect you to achieve this much " oak said with a genuine smile .

" thanks professor " dio responded .

' if these kind of results were achieved by any other researcher he would be going crazy right know and if it were me I would start dancing around naked , but he shows no reaction ' professor oak thought as he looked at dio .

" don't picture the last part that image would be disturbing "

professor oak took the file and hard drive with him to fully study it and later on he will submit it to the league and publicize it . dio now being done with all he wanted to achieve on these two years is free to laze around for the next four months .

( 4 months later)

dio is currently doing his packing he will be going home tomorrow as his internship has finished. he also became an assistant two months earlier after his project got approved by the league . dio made his way to the cafeteria to get some lunch he took his food from the counter and sat on an open table to eat his food .

the other interns were looking at him as he looked at them they retracted back .

' the only hope of me being there friend shattered when I became an assistant professor as I became someone of higher status then them in this field in there eyes I am to high to be there friend although we were never friends but we still used to have some talk but now they just avoid me . ' dio thought as he continued eating .

' even some of the assistant professors avoid me because of the incident with assistant professor Doran while professor Seth and others were happy for my achievement Doran became a little salty '

( two months earlier)

everyone was congratulating dio for his achievements as duran was in the corner just watching .

" whats wrong with you " random professor asked duran as he was just standing to the side .

" hamm it is because of his background that prof oak secretly helped him " Doran said with allot of spite in his voice

he is a white guy with brown hair and brown eyes

he stands at about 5'5 he appears to be in his 30s . he has worked in the lab for five years but has not been successful in any project which is not uncommon in this field .

duran left after that the guy just shook his head after that day duran started creating problems for dio he messed up his room started calling him fake and made some stupid comments about him . but dio kept ignoring him .

professor Seth tried to intervene in the matter but was stopped by oak he wanted to see how the kid will deal with the situation .

one day dio was having his breakfast as duran was sitting a table behind him he was having his breakfast with the other professor.

" these vegetables have dropped in taste quite alot " the guy sitting opposite to duran said as he did not like the taste of today's vegetables.

" everything is fake now a days " duran commented making a scowl on his face .

" you should just drop it " the guy sitting adjacent to him said he knows why duran is angry but this is the truth in a researchers job . but he is starting to stretch things too far .

" why should I he should have been dropped by his parents " duran said again with allot of anger in his voice. dio who was hearing all this just stood up to go back after finishing his breakfast .

as dio got pass there table duran moved his foot in his way trying to make him fall . dio just simply stepped over his feet trying to avoid him .

" bastard son of a bitch mother " duran said as dio was about go away . all the people on his table looked at him and shook there heads to how low he has fallen .

dio stopped on his way and turned around to confront him .

" what did you say " dio asked a little angry as he looked at duran .

" Hahahaha are you angry i said .............."

he was unable to complete his sentence as dio smashed his plate on his head . " crack " " ahh" duran yelled as the plate smashed into bits as dio kicked duran in the chest making him fall from his chair . he then started to stomp him mercilessly the people in the cafeteria tried to stop him buy grabbing him . some of them tried to pick up duran who was sprawled on the floor .

" you little shit " duran yelled as he sat up with the help of others.

but dio punched the guy holding him makin himself free he picked a fork from the table as he jumped on duran duran used his arms to block him but dio stabbed him on his arm .

" ahhh " duran yelled as everyone became horrified seeing blood pouring out of duran's arm .

but dio did not stop there he did multiple stabs as he punched duran in the face making him fall to the ground again .

as the chos started professor Seth and professor oak came along after arriving at the scene of duran bleeding and dio sitting on top of him .

oak immediately rushed and pulled dio back and held him in his place . professor Seth and others picked up duran trying to get him treated .

" calm down dio , its enough " professor oak yelled , dio stopped struggling as he said

" i am fine , now realese me " oak realised him .

dio again moved towards duran but professor oak quickly held him by his shoulders.

" i said stop " oak yelled but dio kicked duran in the nuts as he said " now its over "
