10 Ch 10 ( end of the exam )

( i am not gonna follow the game rules of this type being super effective or less effective as strictly so keep that in mind )

( third person pov )

" haunter shadow punch " dio said as haunter's hand got covered with black shadows .

syther was vigilant to what was about to happen but suddenly he got hit on his jaw with a punch that came out of nowhere . syther jumped back confused not nowing where the attack came from .

" again haunter multiple shadow punches " dio said seeing syther confused . haunter again did punching motions with his hands and syther got hit several time .

but this time syther noticed that every time haunter punches the air a dark patch appears in the air around him from which haunter's attacks appear . although he knew how the attack is gonna arrive he was still unable to block as haunter hit him from random directions.

syther made up his mind to charge straight ahead as staying back was not fruitful for him .

his sythes started to glow with white light as he charged he was going to use furry cutter .

" confuse ray " dio shouted as haunter's eyes glowed with a pink light . syther reached haunter's position but his mind become fuzzy as multiple haunter's started to appear in his vision .

he tried to keep a hold of himself as he attacked all the haunter's that appeared in his vision but haunter realsed corrosive gas to double his advantage he has been taught by dio to chain his attacks in certain situations without dio telling him .

syther who could not find the real haunter before now after the poison enterd his body started to feel sluggish as he lost his vision.

syther finding himself in a pinch immediately flew backward after getting away from the gas he moved toward the grass vanishing from there sight .

" haunter "

' he ran away ' haunter said as he made a confused expression seeing syther leaving in the cover of the grass .

" he did not he is aware that in a straight fight he will not win so he changed his strategy " dio said

runnig away is not in there nature so he knew an attack is gonna come from some where.

and as dio expected the grass started to move and syther came flying . but his target was not haunter but dio . syther used slash to attack dio but dio managed to move out of the way he made himself fall backwards but syther still grazed him a little on the chest ripping his tshirt apart . haunter seeing the attack immediately went for a shadow claw trying to stop syther but syther immediately went into the grass again .

" haunter "

' you okay ' haunter said seeing some blood coming out of dio's chest where a line formed after syther grazed him .

" i am fine but that was unexpected i have to say he is really smart ." dio said as he got up from the ground .

' he must have fought with trainers multiple times so he knows b/w a trainer and pokemon who is the weakest link so he shifted his target '

' i can't risk myself now as a advance level pokemon can kill a adult very easily ' dio thought as he took out another pokeball from his pocket .

" lucario come out " dio said as lucario came out of the pokeball .

( Lucario is a bipedal, canine-like Pokemon  with predominantly blue and black fur. It possesses a short, round spike on the back of each forepaw, in addition to a third on its chest. It has red eyes, a long snout, and ears. When its mouth is open, two pairs of pointed teeth, one in the upper jaw and one in the lower, can be seen. It possesses cream-colored fur on its torso and blue fur on its thighs that resembles shorts. It has a medium-length tail of the same blue color as well. It stands on its toes rather than on its entire foot. It has developed four black appendages that hang down from its head, which rise when Lucario reads or manipulates aura, a special energy that it senses. Lucario can study this energy to predict the movements of their opponents and track their quarry. They also have the power to manipulate this energy in an offensive manner, in the form of explosive spheres of energy. Lucario can understand human speech and have been reported to communicate with humans through telepathy. )

lucario saw the surrounding then looked at dio with his tshirt torn apart and some blood coming out of his chest.

" lucario "

' where is he ' lucario asked .

" in the grass both of you be ready " dio said as he got ready for syther's next attack .

syther also saw lucario joining the fray but he has confidence in his speed that this time he won't miss he moved his position trying to find a blind spot to attack .

the grass started to sway again as syther flew out again at an incredible speed he is using wing attack to propel his speed even further .

he was about to reach dio as he got hit on his face by a high jump kick by lucario sending him flying a few meters away .

syther stood up a little wobbly as he tried to move it was too late as riolu was upon him .

lucario palm was covered in his aura energy as he used force palm hitting syther on the face with an amazing force making him lose consciousness .

( some time later )

dio was eating his lunch sitting under one of the oak trees. lucario after eating his pokemon food has climbed the tree to take a nap meanwhile haunter is thinking hard on a prank idea .

syther who was still lying in the open started to fiddle a little he opened his eyes to see haunter flaling his tongue above his face .

" syther " ' devil ' syther yelled as the image of haunter scared him so much that he started to swing his sythes all around in an attempt to hit haunter .

" haunter "

' idiot ' haunter said as all the attacks went through him and he backed away towards dio .

" haunter haunter "

' ha haha ha ' haunter laughed.

syther finally getting over the scare turned around to see haunter laughing at him he was angry at him and wanted to separate him into pieces but he has something bigger at hand .

he looked at dio who was staring back at him then he looked above to see riolu also looking at him and he rememberd what happened which sent a shiver through syther .

" here " dio said as he through a pokeball right in front of syther .

syther looked at the pokeball then at dio .

" what , go ahead if you want to " dio said giving a choice to syther. although in actuality there is not much choice he is just wants syther to do it himself . this will help him get better control over syther really easily . the stronger the wild pokemon harder it is make them listen to you and by making it there decision to follow you makes the process alot easier.

syther contemplated a little but at the end he pressed the button on the pokeball as he got sucked in by the pokeball .

dio stood up making his way to the pokeball he picked it up and opened it making syther come out . " have some food then we will start training " dio said as he offered syther some pokemon food .

( one week went by )

dio was doing some traing with his pokemon as a siren sounded indicating the end of the exam .

" its finally over " dio said as he made everyone return to there pokeball he picked up his bag and made his way back towards the direction he came from . soon everyone was again transported to the camp site .

dio arrived at the camp to see allot of students getting treated and he understood something has happened which he is unaware off .

he saw Sam and erick standing at the sidelines so he went to them as he asked

" what happened why so many are injured "

sam and erick turned to see it was dio

" they tried to catch one of the advance pokemon " erick explained telling dio the story behind all the injuries .

" even stupidty has it limits " dio said as he shook his head . trying to catch a advance level pkemon in there environment while 90 % of the students having intermediate pokemon is asking for death even having an advance pokemon does not make it much easier he experienced it firsthand with syther .

" well actually they made a plan to group up on the advance pokemon to catch him then they would have a pokemon tournament where the winner keeps the pokemon " sam explained why so many of them risked themselves for this gamble as having a number advantage on a advance level pokemon tired the pokemon and they managed to catch it .

" and most of these injuries are from the tournament to get the pokemon " sam continued . the aftermath led to more injuries as a temptation to have a advance level pokemon made all of them go into a frenzy .

" which pokemon was it " dio asked .

" a primeape " erick replied all of this happened just because of primeape.

(Primeape is a bipedal, simian pokemon  with a round body covered in whitish, shaggy fur. There is usually a throbbing vein on the left side of its forehead, and it has triangular ears with pink insides, narrow eyes with tiny pupils, and a pink, snout-like nose. Its arms and legs are brown and have metal shackles on the wrists and ankles. This is probably indicative of a method of training with weights. The hands have no visible fingers, instead resembling mittens or boxing gloves, and the feet have two toes.)

" so who has it now " dio questioned he wanted to know who was the one that came out on top .

" zen is the one who got him at the end " sam said with some anger in his voice . zen is the grandson of there school's vice principal and zen has taken advantage of that fact allot he presented himself as the big bully that everyone was afraid off he also tried to bully erick but got punched in the face by Sam in return .

" he was the one that instigated everything with his croonies " erick told dio he knows how cunning and manipulative zen is .

after everyone got there treatment Martin started to make individual calls to check if they were able to catch a pokemon or not soon dio was called and he appeard infront of him

" so which one did you catch " Martin said as he had a notepad in hand .

" syther come out " dio said as he opened the pokeball. syther appeard infront of everyone shocking the instructosr as well as the students.

" and he said it was stupid " erick said to sam as he saw dio reveal his syther .

" its dio what you expect there is a diffrence b/w normal and him " sam replied shaking his head .

" this is the first time that both the advance pokemon got captured " Martin said as he noted things on his notepad. while everyone was shocked there was someone who was feeling immense anger .

as everyone got appraised by the instructor if they managed to catch a pokemon sun started to dispear and then they were sent to school from there they left for there respective homes .
