1 Prologue – Reincarnation

"NOOOOOOOO!" A boy's scream can be heard throughout a house.

"What's wrong! Are you okay?" A woman asked frantically when as entered a room on the first floor.

The one she is concerned with is currently sitting in front of a computer with a headphone on as the boy is looking at the screen with a look of horror. The video has been paused but the image of Ash and Pikachu can be seen on the screen. The boy shakily turned to the woman with horror filled eyes which caused the woman to become worried.

"Mom,it's Ash. He's leaving Pokemon." The boy said in a tone full of dread and despair.

Immediately the woman's expression changed from one of worried to annoyed as she looked at him.

"That's why you screamed like that! I thought something happened to you!" The mother scolded him.

"But mom Ash is leaving. I had decided to watch Pokemon again and he is leaving!" The boy said in despair.

"Then that's good. You were always so crazy about that cartoon." The mother said exasperated.

"It's an anime!" The boy protested.

"They're the same. And now that it has ended I hope you will study more. Now don't make anymore noise." The mother said as she closed the door.

The room was silent as they boy looked at the door. Then he turned his head to look at the screen as he was fixated at the subtitles. He felt a tear fall down his left eye as he looked at him.

"Why? Why oh god why is this happening to me?" The boy said as he tried to control his voice.

As an avid fan of Pokemon and Ash and Pikachu this was not something he wanted to hear.

"Why did this have to happen! I had come back after such a long time and this is the first thing that I see. Ash became a champion but at what cost! I can't follow him and Pikachu anymore!" The boy lamented as he asked no-one.

He looked at the screen again hoping that what he read was false but sadly for him it was the same. He was happy when Ash won and became champion but then this new broke his heart.

"What about all the relationships that was being teased!? Misty, May, Dawn, Iris, Melody, Anabel, Angie, Latias, Serena, Miette, Lillie, maybe Chloe, Lana, Mallow. What about them! Come on you can't just end it like that! It's not fair! Serena even kissed him for God's sake!" The boy ranted on with displeasure.

He so so wished it to not be true but the truth was right before his eyes.

"Damn you Pokemon company, you can't do this! Is this a punishment from the Pokemon God's for not watching it then I'm sorry but please continue his journey!" The boy the shouted out as he couldn't handle the frustration.

"I said don't shout!" His mother said as she opened the door and then closed it.

The boy merely sat on his chair disheartened as he slumped on his chair. He stayed silent as he wasn't in the mood for this. The room was silent for a full minute as he was brooding but then his attention was drawn to the computer when it's screen started to glitch.

"Oh come on not at this time." The boy said annoyed.

But then to his surprise the screen blackened out and words appeared on the screen.

[Do you wish to go on an adventure in the land of Pokemon?]

[Yes/No]

The boy looked at the screen with wide eyes when he read what was written on it. He blinked it eyes a few times and even rubbed them to make sure that his mind wasn't making it up due to his grief. He even pinched himself and felt pain so he realised it is true.

"What in the world?" The boy said shocked as he looked at the screen.

After staring at the screen for a few more seconds he moved his cursor and clicked Yes in the screen. The message vanished and another one appeared.

[Are you sure of your decision?]

[Yes/No]

The boy thought about it for a minute and then clicked Yes.

Just like before another message appeared.

[Once you are sent to that world there is no going back. Are you sure you want to leave your current world?]

[Yes/No]

The boy thought about it as he read the message. While he is quite happy about the fact that he was able to see Pokemon life here isn't that great. With the amount of things to study and the constant worries about the future is a bad influence on the mind. Not to mention anime and games was his way to cope with the stress of them and since they are enjoyable.

So with that thought he looked at the screen determined as he moved his cursor and clicked Yes. The moment he clicked it the screen went blank and then the next moment a blinding light came from the screen which caused him to close his eyes as it filled the room.

When the light stopped shining the boy was no longer in the room. His headphone fell on the chair and then the next moment a wave spread from the computer as it spread across the globe. The boy's mother and everyone on Earth was affected by it.

"By mom, I'm going to play." The boys sibling, male, said to her.

"And where do you think you're going!? You're our only son remember so you have to study!" The mother said to him.

"But..." The sibling tried to say.

"No buts young man go to your room and study!" The mother said to the boy as he walked to his room.

At the same time the boy was going through something like a wormhole as he was screaming.

"What in the world is going on!!" The boy screamed as he was going through the wormhole fast.

He then saw light at the end and he closed his eyes as he reached the end and was consumed by the light.

"Oh look at him." A womans voice could be heard.

The boy opened his eyes when he heard it but now his eyes were red. He looked upwards to find a nurse looking down at him with a smile. Then he felt himself being handed out to someone else. The woman has silver hair and red eyes as she smiled at him.

"Look Growlithe, this is my son." The woman said as a Growlithe came into the baby's view.

The boy's eyes widened when he saw Growlithe in front of him and he was sure of one thing.

'I'm in the Pokemon universe! This is the best thing ever!' The boy celebrated in his mind as he laughed.

The people in the room laughed as well at this as the woman looked at the baby lovingly.

"Welcome to this world, my dear Shu." The woman said with a smile.

I think that's a good prologue. So how was it?

Do you want the protagonist to have an absent father like the other protagonists?

Also, you can suggest a partner Pokemon for the MC since I haven't been able to decided yet. Maybe Eevee since you know the Let's Go game's.

This is a fanfiction made for my satisfaction so I hope you won't mind if something you don't like is in here. I hope the ones who read this will like it.

And finally, Ash and Pikachu are the Greatest Protagonists of Pokemon!
