Talk with Eevee

When Altro noticed everyone was pretty tired, he called them back and gave berries to everyone.

When he went near the camp, he saw Celeste was already there, waiting for him.

Altro smiled at her and said, "let's go?" She nodded and stood up.

After that, they continued traveling until sunset. On the way, whenever they encounter any Pokemon, Altro let Mew practice her confusion on them and gain experience.

She had already jumped from level 13 to level 16.

Altro noticed that Mew's growth was faster than others. Well, he'd expect nothing less from a legendary Pokemon.

While preparing for dinner. Altro noticed all his Pokemon surrounding Magikarp were talking about something. This has happened several times now, which made Altro curious.

So he decided to ask them.

*Pika~pi*

*Mii~Mi*

*Gast~Gas*

"So, you are telling me? Something inside Magikarp is changing and he can't understand what it is?"

Everyone nodded in unison.

'Is it related to the ancient bloodline awakening Elder Mew was talking about?' Altro thought that was the most likely case. Which means Magikarp managed to awaken his ancient bloodline. Altro became a little excited in anticipation. 'I wonder what it will be like.'

"Don't worry, it's fine," Altro assured Magikarp for a while and then went to serve the meal.

After they were done. Celeste looked at Altro cautiously and asked. "Altro, can you understand Pokemon?"

Altro just smiled lightly and replied, "It's that we are so close that I can guess what they are saying." He was already long prepared for this answer.

Celeste nodded and enviously looked at Altro and his Pokemon for having such a close bond.

*Eeveui~* (Bullshit, he can clearly understand us.)

'Why is this Eevee not cute at all?' Altro smiled and asked Eevee.

"You wanna have another battle, Eevee?"

*Eeve~* (Damn human you want to abuse me.)

Eevee turned his back and went inside Celeste's tent. Altro smiled and said good night to Celeste.

Altro left his Pokemon outside their balls. He wasn't worried about the night watch as Gastly was there. Therefore, he can sleep peacefully.

'The hell, peacefully my as*.' Altro sighed. 'It's my first time camping out. What can I expect?'

Altro went outside the tent.

*Gast~ly* (Is something wrong, Master?)

"I can't sleep. Don't worry about it."

Gastly turned back and continued his training. Altro sat on a rock not far from the tent and continued looking at the bright moon.

'Why is he still awake?' Altro noticed Eevee coming out of Celeste's tent, but he ignored him and continued looking at the moon.

Eevee came near Altro and sat beside him on the rock.

*Eeve~* (Why are you still awake?)

Altro didn't reply, acting as if he can't understand.

Eevee mouth twitched. But he calmed the anger in his heart.

*Eevee~* (I just wanted to thank you.)

Eevee noticed Altro was still looking at the moon.

*Eeve~Eeve~Eveui* (Thanks for letting her join you. She seems very happy. I've never seen her trying to open up to someone after her mother's death.)

Hearing this, Altro raised his eyebrow. He knew there was some backstory behind her. 'Well, I can't sleep, anyway. Might as well listen.'

"Is that also the reason for her change at the time of battle?" Hearing that Altro was asking him, Eevee looked at him dissatisfied. 'I knew he could understand us. Damn guy ignored me all this time.'

Eevee nodded his head.

"Eevee. Which form do you want to evolve?" Eevee didn't know why Altro suddenly asked him, but he honestly replied.

*Eeve~Eeve~Eveui* (I don't know.)

"You know there are other options, too." Hearing this, Eevee's eyes lit up. Altro started explaining the other three forms of Eevee. Espeon, a psychic type, Umbreon, a dark type and Sylveon, a fairy type.

Eevee was fascinated hearing Altro's explanation of three new types of his forms that he never knew of and a new fairy type fascinated him even more. He didn't think about why Altro knew about this. Because Altro is already mysterious enough to be able to talk to Pokemon.

*Eeve~ Evui* (I will evolve into Sylveon.)

"Oh, hell no. I don't want to see a foul-mouthed Sylveon."

Hearing this, Eevee became angry.

*Eeve~ Evui* (You damn human. I'll teach you a lesson.)

Eevee jumped toward Altro to headbutt him, but suddenly his body started floating in the air and he was stuck there.

*Eeve~ Evui* (You damn human. Let me go.)

Eevee was horrified by this sudden turn of events. Altro let Eevee down when he stopped struggling.

This time Eevee didn't act rashly and asked.

*Eeve~ Evui* (Are you human?)

Altro's mouth twitched. "If you don't shut up, I'll let you have a taste of free falling from 100 meters height."

Saying that, Altro stood up and went inside his tent.

Eevee trembled hearing Altro's words and looked at Gastly, who was a little farther from them.

*Eeve~ Evui* (Is your Master always this unfair?)

Gastly laughed and replied.

*Gast~Gastly* (We have all experienced this.)

Eevee suddenly felt a little pity for them and he continued looking at the moon. 'Umbreon, huh.'

Inside his tent, Altro was thinking if Eevee managed to evolve into one of those undiscovered forms. It will be easier for him to sell his discovery to the alliance. 'I should keep a note of Celeste's and Eevee's interactions.'

Soon he fell asleep.

The next morning, Altro woke up to a rather disturbing sound.

*Rumble*

"What happened?" He came outside his tent to see Pikachu standing there.

*Pika~pi*

Pikachu explained that a Beedrill came here, so he scared him off.

"I see. Let everyone freshen up. I'll prepare breakfast." Pikachu immediately became happy.

After breakfast, they continued their journey while Altro found that Mew's confusion has become stronger. Eevee also took part in some battles.

Suddenly, Altro sensed something through his psychic. "Come out Pikachu."

*Pika~pi*

"Your buddy from the morning brought some of his friends." Hearing this, Pikachu became alert.

Soon, a swarm of Beedrills came near them.

"Pikachu, Gastly. Get ready to fight."

"Pikachu, use Electro ball, and Gastly, use multiple Shadow balls."
