Chapter 69 - Zeraora rage
Koga couldn't understand what Itsuki's words meant. 'He is that confident or has he become over-confident? I think there is something special about this Pokémon. Although there are countless Pokémon out there in this world, I am familiar with every Pokémon that exists in Kanto region. This Pokémon doesn't looks like it belongs from Kanto, if it had then I would have known about it. Maybe he bought it from someone other region. Or it is a new species of Pokémon discovered.'

Koga looked at Zera and could feel a dangerous vibe from her. Koga has been working as a gym leader for almost 3 decades. After fighting countless battles, Koga just by looking at his opponent Pokémon can estimate and guess how powerful his opponent Pokémon is. Nine out of ten times Koga even guessed the correct levels of his opponent's Pokémon. Koga can guess which power order the Pokémon belongs to.

But Zera was very different. At first Koga felt this new Pokémon in front of him had the power of beginning of 5th order. The problem was Zera's power was constantly fluctuating, going up and down. Koga was having hard time estimating his opponent exact strength.

Meanwhile, Itsuki looked at Crobat stats once again. "Zera use flash steps combined with plasma fist."
'Now what the hell is Flash step. What does it even do?' Koga could only order Crobat to fly up so that Zera won't able to reach Crobat in the air.
"Crobat fly up in the air." Crobat flew up in the air as Koga told him to do.

"Dad look." Janine was the daughter of Koga and also the referee of his match looked at the shocking scene in front of her. Even Koga trembled for a moment. Even Itsuki was shocked.
Dark Blue lightning covered Zera's body. The lightning color was more thicker and stronger than normal. The lightning had wrapped around Zera, making her look like as if she was the lightning itself. Constant cracking sounds of lightning could be heard all over the place.

Under shocked gaze of Koga and Janine, Zera disappeared in flash. Even Itsuki who had higher Aura rank than Zera was having trouble seeing her movements.
Zera bent her knees and put all her strength in her feet and jumped with raw her strength.
Smash!
The ground beneath Zera shattered like a flash, making a spider wave like crack.

Crobat was waiting for his opponent to attack but suddenly a punch landed on his back which directly sent Crobat crushing down.
Bang!
Crobat crushing made the ground beneath his body shatter like glass once again. Zera didn't stop there, she again appeared in front of Crobat and punched his face again.

Bang!
The ground beneath Crobat again shattered, making a small crater beneath Crobat. Just two punches had broken Crobat back and face bones. Blood had covered Zera's right fist. Even though Crobat looked like he is going to die anytime, Zera had no intention of stopping. It was as if Zera had lost her mind in rage and anger.

Zeraora!
Zera roared loudly and was about to punch Crobat again. Koga's body was trembling seeing this while Janine couldn't bear to see scene.
Just as the plasma fist was about to land on Crobat stomach, a palm saved Crobat from dying. Zera was shocked as she looked at her master grabbing her punch.

Zera's body was still enveloped in lightning but Itsuki looked unaffected by the lightning. Zera then noticed that Itsuki had covered his entire body with Aura. Only Zera can see it since only she and Itsuki was Aura user here. Zera can clearly see the blue energy covering Itsuki body.
Zeraora! [Master why did you stop me? This bastard has hurt my little sister.]

Sigh!
"Zera, just look at him for once." Zera looked down and saw that Crobat already has passed out. Crobat face was covered in blood which made Crobat almost unrecognizable. Zera seeing his state calmed down a lot.
"If your punch was to hit Crobat again then Crobat definitely would have died. You, I and everyone in the team will end up becoming criminals and my trainer ID will be suspended. At that time we can only ran."

Even though Itsuki could take care of things with system help if Zera were to kill Crobat, Itsuki wanted Zera to reflect on herself and calm down. Itsuki is not blaming Zera at all. Even Itsuki was very angry but he managed to suppress his anger while Zera couldn't.
Zeraora! [You're right but I am not apologizing to that man.]
Zera didn't liked the way that man talked with Itsuki before. If possible she wanted to throw some lightning bolts at that man as well.

Itsuki smiled and took out his Pokeball. "Don't worry, no one is going to apologize to him. Things like this is common in battle." There was no rules which said that Itsuki must apologize to Koga. Trainers are given recovery portion so that they could save their Pokémon from life threatening situations.
"Hey are you not going to announce the winner?"

Janine Pov....
My name is Janine and I am the daughter of Fuchsia city gym leader. My mother died few years ago. Now I am training under my father to take his position as the new gym leader. Today morning a boy named Paul challenged Dad and managed to defeat him very easily.

My father was very depressed and angry about his sudden and quick loss. So my father began to wait for his next challenger at the entrance and there he found this handsome young man. This boy was exactly my type but I could see that he wasn't that happy with my dad's attitude.

I became the referee and the match started. Everything was going well and Dad also seemed to had regained his former confidence after defeating that boy's Pokémon with one move.
But this was the ending and starting of everything. The expression on that boy's name Itsuki face became very cold. Looking at his eyes I felt like a small rabbit looking at mighty dragon's eye. I couldn't look at his eyes without trembling.

Itsuki took out a Pokémon which we had never seen before. I was very shocked to know that even with my father's 3 decade worth of experience he didn't had any idea which Pokémon Itsuki was using.
Seeing the blue lightning sparkles on the Pokémon that Itsuki called as Zera, I had a very bad feeling seeing this.

Things went as I feared. Zera powerful punches destroyed Crobat. In my whole life, I have never seen Crobat get beaten so badly. Zera speed was so fast that my dad and I couldn't even see when Zera punched Crobat. Everything that happened was very fast and unbelievable for us.

With just two punches, Zera managed to pin Crobat on the ground. I have never seen Crobat in such bad state. My father had put years of his effort in raising Crobat but now someone was trashing Crobat like it was the weakest Pokémon in the world.
But then Zera wanted to punch Crobat again, at that time Dad and I panicked and we wanted to do something to stop Zera but we were too late. I and dad knew that punch would kill Crobat.

But just when the punch was able to hit Crobat, Itsuki out of nowhere stopped Zera's attack.
Again I and Dad looked at each other thinking what was happening in front of us was a bad nightmare. How could a human caught a punch that managed to drag a level 35 Pokémon near its death? We had no idea. Everything was completely out of our logic and explanation. I couldn't find any logical explanation to convince myself that Itsuki is a normal human.

"Hey are you not going to announce the winner?" I heard the boy's words after he talked to his Pokémon about the consequences of killing Crobat.
End of Janine Pov....

"Yes, the Pokémon of gym leader is unable to continue. Winner is Itsuki." Janine looked at her father and her eyes trembled seeing her father.
Koga just couldn't digest what had happened. Even though he was a ninja, he was strong enough take on 10 humans at once, but he wasn't strong enough of to stop a level 20 Pokémon not to mention a level 35. But how can a average human stop a pokémon that just almost killed a level 35 Pokémon?

'Average? This boy is anything but average.' Koga sighed with a bitter smile.
"Here is this the soul badge." Koga threw the heart shaped badge to Itsuki then left. Koga right now needed time to calm his wild heart. Because what happened today was something Koga had considered impossible his whole life.

Itsuki caught the soul badge and then walked away after calling his Zera at her Pokeball. Janine recovered her thoughts and quickly gave Crobat a recovery portion which was enough to stabilize Crobat condition for now. Janine then took Crobat to the Pokémon center.
