34 Chapter 34 - Fighting with Suzune and her Luxray
"Plasma fist, what type of move is that?" Suzune wondered. Suzune realized that she was in disadvantage. She did not knew anything about her opponent, she was unfamiliar with her opponents moves as well. This made Suzune little frustrated.
'Maybe I should have asked for some information before the battle started.'

"Luxray, use double team." For now Suzune decided to test the water and see how it would react.
Luxray!
Many identical copies of Luxray appeared on the battlefield but strangely Zera and Itsuki looked calm. Suzune saw Zera closing her eyes for a moment then the next moment Zera charged towards the Luxray.

What Suzune didn't know was that when Luxray used double team, Zera also used her Aura to identify the real one. Since double team is just a image of the original, it cannot copy the Aura of one pokemon.

"Zera use plasma fist on the ground, in Luxray's direction." Blue transparents orb of lightning formed on Zera' palms. Zera's chest also glowed in blue lightning. with a loud roar, Zera punched the ground with plasma fist.
When the lightning orb hit the ground it began to expand in Luxray's direction, while destroying the ground.

Suzune's face for a moment turned pale seeing such powerful attack. "Luxray quickly dodge." Hearing his master's command, Luxray dodged the lightning orb with his fast speed. This is one of the advantage of level. The higher level your pokemon reaches the higher your pokemon's speed, attack power will be increased.
Of course, Zeraora is a expectation to this rule. Zeraora might be still in level 38, but after training on polishing her moves and awakening Aura, she is confident that she could defeat pokemon even higher level than her.

While Itsuki and Suzune fought with their pokemon, several red eyes glowed in the bushes. Itsuki and Zera did not notice anything since both of them was completely focused on their battle.

"Luxray, use wild charge." Suzune had nothing to fear. Hearing Suzune's words, Finn also decided to go with the same move.
"Zera, wild charge."
Both Zera and Luxray's bodies glowed in blue and yellow lightning, the lightning then enveloped their bodies like armors. Both Zera and Luxray rushed towards and meet head on.

The their collision, Luxray was pushed back while Zera only retreated few steps. Suzune couldn't understand why her Luxray looked injured and Zera looked fine. Little did she knew that Zera had used her Aura to boost the power of her attack which allowed Zera to compete with a higher level pokemons' attacks.
"How?"

Suzune bite her red lips in frustration. Before meeting Itsuki, Suzune never lost her composure during battle. She always calmly analysed her opponent and came up with perfect counter to defeat them. But Itsuki is completely unpredictable with his mysterious pokemon. She couldn't understand why his Zera took less damage when both Luxray and Zera used the same move.
"Is it because of the blue lightning?" Although Suzune is not sure, but this is the only logical reason she could find.

'How did Itsuki's Zera has blue lightning? I thought a electric type pokemon would have white or yellow lightning but this is the first time I am seeing blue lightning. Judging for her attack power, the blue lightning seems to be stronger than normal lightning and also boosts the user attacks.' Suzune calmed down and focused on the battle. No matter what she cannot lose. Suzune doesn't want to end her winning streak here.

'Lightning Terrain is useless here since Zera is also a electric type pokemon. This is a tough situation. I don't know anything about the moves that Zera knows while my scope is limited to lighting type attacks.' Suzune's mind was processing at lightning speed.
"Zera, us..."

Suzune saw that Itsuki stopping and frowning. Itsuki stopped because he heard some sounds on the bushes. Itsuki focused his senses on the bushes and found that some pokemons were hiding there.
"Zera, use Aura sphere on the bushes, to your right."

Zera created two blue sphere on her palms and threw the sphere on the bushes. Suzune and Luxray was still confused.
Boom!
When the smoke cleared, Suzune saw two dead Rattata lying there. "Suzune be careful. It looks like a group of Rattata has come to hunt us."

With the death of two Rattata, Raticate and family Rattata angrily came out of the bushes. "I remember learning that Raticate and Rattata usually hunts in groups to kill strong preys. Meaning they are seeing us as their lunch."
Itsuki right now wanted to take out his Articuno and freeze all the Rattata to death but because Suzune, a stranger was with her Itsuki kept himself from showing his Articuno.

Rattata was surrounded, Itsuki's group from three direction. Their number should be at least in 40 to 50.
Reticate! [You humans will become our food. Everyone prepare to attack the humans.] Itsuki understood what the Raticate said. Hearing the Raticate order, Itsuki just smiled in pity since he wouldn't have killed them if they hadn't attacked him.
"Suzune let's focus on killing the Raticate since the Raticate is ordering everyone."

"Zera, use flash steps then use plasma fist on the Raticate." Finn then took out this dragonair.
"Luxray, use electric Terrain and then use Discharge." The Rattata that stood forward to protect their king was killed by Discharge attacks while Zera appeared in front of Raticate in matters of second.
Zera then punched the Raticate's chest with her blue lightning orb which created a hole on Raticate chest and the Raticate was instantly destroyed.

This is the first time, Itsuki had seen such gore scene. Itsuki forced himself from puking and ordered dragonair to kill to the rest of the Rattata.
"Dragonair, use Dragon rush."
"Luxray, use Discharge again."
Zera even without any order used Flash steps with plasma fist.

In one minute, all the Rattata was killed by three pokemon. Itsuki was still having hard time controlling his urge to vomit after seeing such gore scene. Zera also felt same as Itsuki but she quickly calmed her mind as she was a pokemon. Pokemon didn't had human mindset, they wouldn't hesitate to kill. Suzune looked at Itsuki in pity, she too had faced the same problem when she killed for the first time.

What Itsuki and Suzune overlooked was, they were in a forest where pokemons are constantly fighting each other for food. Wild pokemons are very sensitive to the smell of blood. When the thick smell of blood reached other pokemons, they began to rush towards Itsuki and Suzune's direction to eat.

It took Itsuki some time to calm his mind but he was still not used to seeing such bloody scene.
"Suzune, let's continue our battle another day." Itsuki for now wanted to go away from this place and forget what he just saw here.
Suzune understood Itsuki's situation very well, since she had faced the same problem as her.

"Okay, I am heading to Saffron city to challenge the gym leader. I hope we can meet in the indigo league." After fighting together with Ituski, Suzune didn't felt that uncomfortable talking to Itsuki.
Itsuki nodded with a weak smile and said goodbye to Suzune who walked in the opposite direction with her Luxray.

"I must become strong. I have to teach Luxray some moves which can help me fight Itsuki's Zera next time." Suzune promised that she would defeat Itsuki no matter what.

After Suzune left, a group of pokemon can from the surroundings. Many pokemons had drolls dropping from their mouth. Seeing their scene, Itsuki quickly got on Dragonair's back and left towards north direction after calling Zera to her pokeball.
"Fortunately, I managed to get out safely." From the sky, Itsuki can see that many bugs and common pokemons was fighting among themselves.
