9 Side Story: Setting Records.

Today, something unbelievable happened to me.

Something that I will remember for the rest of my life.

A young boy, with dark hair and red eyes, came by the center and left his Pokemon in my care.

He seemed like a new trainer, similar to the two from Pallet that passed by earlier.

Ignoring the fact that he had caught all of the Pokemon in the area, ( That is no small feat! ) One of his Pokemon, caught my attention.

After taking them to the check-up facilities, I was fascinated by the results.

Although most machines are to identify if the Pokemon have any internal injuries, they also give an indication of the Pokemon's strength.

Charmander must have been his starter Pokemon, but he passed all the physical tests with top marks and beat all the previous records set by any Pokemon of its species or size.

It's vitality also surprised me... I have never seen a Charmander with such a bright flame.

Furthermore, it was somewhat... Excentric.

When interacting with other Pokemon, it would quickly bond with them and naturally assume the head position. Even with the ones that were supposed to be stronger than it.

It had some kind of... Charisma to it.

Pokemon flocked to it, no matter the species. Heck, it even made friends with the water Pokemon in the facilities!

They're usually supposed to be like fire and water! (A/N: Pun intended) Well not really, but you get the point.

When I asked some questions to test its intelligence, I was pleasantly surprised. Its intellect was also incredible for its age.

It was capable of learning things with ease and seemed to have a knack for executing commands in battle. That trainer seems to be pretty good at his job...

All in all, in the short hour that it was here, Charmander became the life of the party.

This Charmander is the most unique specimen that I have ever seen, and I will thus remember it for my whole life.

I wish that the trainer visits us again soon. I will gladly take care of the little lizard again.

Oh, the phone is ringing. I hope it's not an emergency...
