272 Evolution
After the training was over, Pidgey directly went towards Agnes carrying a small bucket and a comb on its beak.
"Pi.. Pii…", it said excitedly.
Agnes poured water into Pidey and started to clean its body. Its body had accumulated a lot of dust since the morning. After it was washed and bathed, Agnes used a towel to dry it.
"Pi… Pi… ", it said and turned back. Agnes carefully combed its feathers.
Over the past week, Pidgey and Agnes had become close and developed a friendship. Agnes would always comb its feathers.
Unlike other Pokemons, Pidgey liked to be clean at all times. It was a female who prioritizes looking neat and clean. It would bathe 1 time a day which was a lot for a Pokemon. Even Axel himself would shower once in 2 days. It was especially proud of its fur and feathers. So, it would only let Agnes comb its fur and feathers. It would not even let Axel do it.
But it knew that it would leave this place soon, so it had to let Axel comb its feathers in the future. Pidgey was very stressed about it. It was not confident if Axel could handle such a huge responsibility.

After 2 days, Pidgey was already able to hit the point at its full speed. This lead its 'Aerial ace' to level up to 25 which was huge. Axel realized that, if specific training methods were applied, the moves would level up faster. This was a huge discovery. If he could do this to other Pokemons too, it would increase their fighting powers by a lot.
"Now, it is time to train 'Agility'. I think you should regularly train in 'Tail wind'. But it cannot be used with 'Aerial ace' till you evolve. You can learn it from Marcus and Beedrill. They have practiced the move for a long time. They know it much better than me. But remember. I will only give you 7 days to train it.
After that, we would move towards another move."
'Agility' was a hard move to train. It was a psychic type move and Pidgey was not a psychic type. Shedinja and Beedrill had practiced this move for a long time and it would be better for Pidgey to learn from them.
To use 'Tailwind' during 'Aerial ace', Pidgey must be capable to turn the direction of the whirlwind which Axel didn't think it would be able to do till it fully evolves. It didn't even have a core.
However, Pidgey was thinking about another issue. Would Shedinja and Beedrill really train it? Wouldn't training it be bad for them as it would grow stronger?
Pidgey was really competitive in nature. It felt that if it was in their shoes, it would not help others in the training. But it was surprised when both of them agreed to train it. This gave it a warm feeling and it had started to feel that it was a part of this group now.

Axel had started to train the soldiers. Dorry, Dorton, and Hector had already arrived today and they were also helping him in training. Axel would spend 3 hours of his time teaching them about the weakness and strengths of Pokemon.
He had divided the training into 4 parts.
1. To learn about the Pokemon itself
2. Learn how to make traps
3. Strategy and team composition
4. Training you and your Pokemons.
He would teach each of them for a week and in 4 weeks he would complete the training. His friends would then take control in training them further.

A week had passed and Pidey had tried to train its 'Agility' with the help of Shedinja and Beedrill

Axel was happy with its progress. It had exceeded his expectations. He had assumed that it would only be able to level it to 15. Pidgey was now able to use 'Agility' 2 times and its speed has increased rapidly.
"Flappy, now it is time to learn another move. 'Wing attack'"
Pidgey nodded its head. Pidgey realized that Axel may not be able to comb its feathers perfectly like Agnes but he was a good trainer.
Axel then went on to another brand-new tree and started to draw straight lines. He made 6 straight lines and the innermost line was purposely drawn thin.
Pidgey was to strike the innermost line with its 'Wing attack'.
Using 'Wing attack', its wings will glow in white light which would power up its wings. Then it would hit the opponent with its glowed wings.
"5 times with left wing and 5 times with right wing and then you would repeat it. Like before you would take breaks every hour."
This was not hard for Pidgey. The training was slightly different that 'Aerial ace' but it was also very similar. Pidgey was able to use 'Wing attack' hitting the innermost line at its full speed on next day.

Axel told Pidgey to practice 'Steel wing'. It was the same concept as 'Wing attack' but instead of its feathers glowing white, it would glow silver gray.
'Steel wing' had deadly attack power but 'Wing attack' had greater speed. After a day of training 'Steel wing', Pidgey was able to hit it perfectly and it also leveled up to 20.

A row of notifications hit Axel. Pidgey was evolving. It was already surrounded by white light.
"Yes."

"All of its stats should be S rank. Its ability and hidden ability should be 20%."
Axel didn't have harsh conditions for its evolution. It was just in its first evolution stage after all.
