223 Crash!!!

There were 5 notebooks that were gifted by Giovanni. Axel planned to read all of those books before doing anything. He didn't want to make mistakes again.

The name of those 5 notebooks were:

1. Abilities and hidden abilities

2. Evolutions and rank up

5. Items and resources

4. Moves and

5. Foundation

Axel packed those books and then got a plane ready for Vermilian city. He had planned to meet K and then win Vermilian city gym in the process. The flight was today and he was in a hurry. He planned to read the second notebook on the flight. The flight would take 24 hours so he had a lot of time to kill.

"Ting.. Hello this is your Pilot Avron. Our final destination is Vermilian city but we would be stopping in Cornor town for 2 hours. The flight would take 24 hours. The air hostess would be happy to help if you need anything. Let's have a safe flight. Ting.."

This was the message from the pilot before taking off. It was a normal procedure. Axel had started to read the second book 'Evolutions and rank up'.

He had booked 2 seats for himself as he wanted some privacy. He didn't want others to know about the content of the book. The flight was mostly empty with 30 people. The capacity of the plane was over 50 people.

10 hours on the plane, everyone was bored and tired but not Axel. Axel had immersed himself in the book. Just like the first book, it was not thick but it had a lot of information.

He knew how to rank up his Pokemons up to King rank. The information to rank up a Pokemon to advanced rank was general knowledge. There was a lot of information about it on the internet. However, rank above advanced rank was scarce and not free. So, he had paid a hefty sum to get the knowledge on how to rank up a Pokemon up to King rank.

The reason for Axel to buy knowledge up to rare rank and not above it was due to its supply. Hardly any trainers had Pokemon above King ranked. Those who had were basically the hegemonies of the region and they never published that knowledge. So, Axel could not buy even if he wanted to.

He had asked Oak about it but he just brushed it off saying that he should have a solid foundation and reach King rank first. After reading Giovanni's notes he understood why Oak said it.

In the chapter of Pseudo- Champion rank, the first line written by Giovanni was,

"Before reading this chapter, I would advise anyone to have a solid foundation on their Pokemon and develop them to their limit. If you don't, then there is no chance for you to rank up your Pokemons further."

This had caught Axel's eye. Though Axel had been warned, he wanted to read it. So, he flipped the page fast…

BOMMM…..

A loud sound could be heard. 'Did I flip the page too hard?' he thought joking with himself. He was so caught on to the book, he didn't even know what was happening.

He look around and found that the passengers were nervous. A hint of fear could be felt from them. As he was looking around trying to ask a passenger on what the hell was happening, the message from the pilot Avron arrived.

"Ting… We have encountered a herd of Pidgeot. One of our engines had been destroyed. Fear not, we have backup engines for such situations and our team is dealing with those wild Pokemons. Just sit back and relax. Ting.."

The pilot had said to sit back and relax but none of them could do so. A plane is flown much higher in the air so that wild Pokemons would not interfere. So, encountering a wild Pokemon while flying was really rare. They were around 30,000 meters above the ground. Normally a flying type Pokemon would only fly up to 10,000 meters. If a Pokemon was capable to fly at a height of 30,000 meters, that Pokemon must be strong. Probably an elemental ranked Pokemon or even higher.

That was why the passengers were afraid.

Advanced ranked trainers were scarce. The passengers didn't know if there was an advanced rank trainer in the plane crew. The possibility was low. Axel wanted to help the plane crew but none of his Pokemons were flying type.

Shedinja and Beedrill could fly but they could not fly at a height of 30,000 meters and Charizard was not strong enough to fight an elemental rank Pokemon

BOMMMM…..

Another boom.

Axel gritted his teeth. He didn't want to feel vulnerable. He made a strong note to catch a flying-type Pokemon like Pidgey if he lives through this fiasco.

The air hostess had started to calm the passengers but all of them could see the fear in their eyes too. This made the passenger lose their cool.

Then…..

BOOMMMM…..

Axel could see the engines lit on fire from his window. The passengers started to shout.

"Ting.. The plane has lost all of its engines. Tighten your seat belts, BRACE FOR IMPACT… MAY DAY… MAY DAY…"

Axel didn't think of anything and threw a Pokeball.

"Light, can you teleport all the passengers and the staff to a safe location?"

"Not possible. The plane is moving at a high speed. If it was not moving, I could have tried. Right now, I can only teleport you safely.", replied Light.

"Ok. Marcus come inside the Masterball. Light, now do it!!", shouted Axel.
