1 POKEMON AMONG US

Pokemon are with us since million years ago , they create a great bond to us and made our live adaptable to the environment . Some of them are kind to people but some are not , that they can hurt us and the worst, kill us.

That's not even scary , cause i really want pokemon. As a young kid of ten years old , I really wanted to have a pokemon of mine or become a pokemon trainer just like my mom and dad. My mom is a former champion of Kalos league and a semifinalist of the World League. while my dad is a class S Pokemon Breeder and a Pokemon Researcher . He studied traces of Mega Evolution together with Professor Sycamore of Kalos region. Mom has 16 pokemons while Dad has 48 pokemons. Mom best team was Garchomp, Conkelldurr, Unfezant , Xatu , Mismaguis and a Loppuny that can mega evolve using a keystone called Loppunite.

Dad primarily has steel type , ground type and fire type pokemons. He said that he's best team was Steelix, Golem, Rhyperior, Kabutops, Aggron, and Aerodactyl .

I remembered that I've watched a video of a pokemon battle between mom and dad , that was a six versus six pokemon battle. Mom choose to fight first was Xatu ,while dad choose Rhyperior . Mom won on the first pairing , on the second, dad won and dominated the 3rd but was unable to defeat mom . mom went to win the fight.

I'm Brandon Jenerhael or you can call me BJ , soon to be a pokemon trainer and a master pokemon breeder!

"Mom just called me , Brandon come on down here ! time to go."

"okay mom , just a minute "

I fix myself up , put up my longsleeve shirt , Pants and get my stuff . Today is another market day , so me and dad will go to the city and sell our crops . I used to help dad every morning to sell Vegetables and as well as homemade pokemon food in the market.

"Hey, son hurry up sun is rising ! dad shouted ."

I run and got to the truck , lets go dad .

On our way ,Someone got stuck on the mud on the middle of the road . Dad stopped and got off to the truck to help the old man .

" Sir? do you need help?" dad asked .

" Yes, Please, ohh! It's you Orry! can you help me? this thing stuck on my wheels . I think this is a mud produced by a grimer or even a muk". The old man said.

"I think it too". Dad get a his bag and summon "Toarkoal. Toarkoal use flamethrower".

"Toaaar ...kol..."

Then toarkoal melt the mud , the tire get free from the sludge.

The oldman was so very thankful to my dad.

"Thank you Orion ,for helping, wait I'm gonna give you a reward."

"Nevermind it Sir, dad refused to be rewarded, by the way sir are you new here? and why you know my name?" dad asked.

Yes , I'm a new face here because I am a Pokemon Researcher just like you . I'm Balmont from Kalos Region .

"Ohh, I see . so what are you studying here?" dad asked.

" Cave systems are great in Kanto, I'm studying caves around to look for patterns of Cave Dwelling Pokemons. "

" Okay sir , We'll go ahead sir",

"Hold on, just a second Orry. It seems you are with your son, Is he a pokemon trainer?".

"Not yet , sir . he's name is BJ ".

I wave my hand and greet him ." Please to meet you sir."

"Can you come over here Bj?" Mr. Balmond said.

"Okay sir", So I got off to the truck and went to him.

" Since your dad won't accept this reward, I want to give it to you, Do you want to become a Pokemon trainer?"

I gladly say" yes" .

He went to the Compartment and get something .

It was a box , I wonder what's inside.

"There you go , you know BJ, inside the box is a pokemon egg take care of it, feed it well once it hatches and this will be your partner soon as you become a trainer."

I thank him a lot , then we go on separate ways .

On the market , I ask dad .

"Dad??, Can you guess what is it?"

"What is it son?"

" That pokemon inside that egg."

" Hmmm. . I probably guess that it will be a fire type pokemon based on the egg markings but I'm not really unless I firmly studied it ".

"Can you do that dad?".

"What?"

"To study it, so we can Identify it".

"Okay, okay son later on when we arrived home for now just help me selling this stuff , so that we can arrive home early."

I nodded , I feel excitement on what dad said , As i identify its type I will be taking care of it . and we will became partners .

Almost 3 hours when we finish selling. I take a rest for 10 minutes and we buy some Pokemon vitamins at the nearest Pokemon Center, and to have a check the schedule of Annual Pokemom trainer Registration .

Two weeks from now will be the Pokemon Trainer Registration. I'm so excited to be a pokemon trainer, gonna go along the wild pokemon world. They said that being a pokemon trainer is the hardest job because there are dangers you will be facing once you go on a journey, either you get killed by wild pokemon, by your pokemon or by misfortune . They said it is like a survival game in order to survive is to be strong and create a strong relationship with your pokemon.

Dad finished listing my name on the pre registry list and went home, it's already 4pm and we are really tired today. I fell asleep, I hugged the egg and I felt it, it moved!

I cuddle it more thinking he likes it.

When we arrived home, the sun was already going down, dad wake me up . I was very tired i feel it all over my body I went to my room and fell on my bed together with egg.

I woke up , when the egg was missing , It was not on the other side on my bed . I hurriedly go to my brothers and sisters room but no egg is there. I ran to mom and dad's room as i softly opened the door I just saw mom sleeping and dad was not there. I got back to my room and searched for it, then there is no egg i found. I really hope that it does not hatch and went out. But if it hatched there must be egg shells scatter. But there's none. As I went out to the house I saw dad's pokemon Lab was lighted . maybe dad is there and studying the egg, So I remember that dad said that he will study the egg.

I went immediately to the laboratory and saw my dad checking on the egg , dad also noticed me and called me

"Come here" ...

He put the egg to the incubator .

I asked him quietly, " I was looking for it in the entire house".

" You told me that I'll take it for observation, do you remember?"

"Yes dad, Can you tell me now ?"

"Okay son, Based on its egg hardness this pokemon is not easy to hatch , I think it will take 7 months of natural humidity to hatch but in an incubator it takes 3 months to hatch it .

"Ohh , Is it a strong one?"

" hmmm .. we can't tell yet, son. It's just a feature of this pokemon, According to this patterns we see it is more likely a Fire type pokemon. I say that it is a fire type pokemon".

"Yesss .. I've got a fire type pokemon" I raised fist gladly.

I saw dad smiling , and staring at me .

"Son?"

"Yes dad?"

"Are you ready to become a Pokemon trainer soon?" dad asked.

"Yes I am."

" You have to remember many things as you become a trainer . Here's a manual , read it all of the things you want to know about all pokemon and their habitat is in there also there is a map inside it which give location to pokestops and pokemon centers . Be strong son , be like me and like your mom".

Dad gives me a manual that will give me information on what i will be facing on the journey i wanted.

Then we go to house and rest . I went to my room at put the manual on my sling bag.

The next morning, I woke up late, and mom just went to my room and woke me up ..

"Wake up Brandon! it's already 9 am!", mom shouted.

"Mom , .. okay" .. I answer slowly and yaw.

Mom went out to my room .

"Fix yourself and have your breakfast . "

I don't want to get mom mad at me so i stood up and opened my window, The sun is really heated up i look at the surroundings where I saw dad , Andy and Skyler were feeding Dad's 5 Rhyhorn and 4 Lairon . These pokemons likely to eat hybrid plants . Hybrid grass for Rhyhorn and Iron rich crops for Lairon, While eating my breakfast mom talked with me.

" Hey , son when is your Registration?"

"It will be a week and 5 days from now mom". I answered.

"What if you take the Pokemon Trainer Seminar first?".

"What is that mom?".

"It is an orientation program attended by All pokemon trainers in our Town. Professor Balmond from Kalos will be the resource speaker".

" You knew Sir Balmond, mom?"

" Ohh yes .. my son did you just meet him?".

"yes mom. Yesterday morning, dad helped him in the road, his car stuck on mud prints of a muk".

"Ahh . I see, Is he the one gave you that egg?"

"Yes mom, He gave me a fire type pokemon egg."

"Ohh, that's awesome son . Most fire type pokemon are easy to train . Maybe at first, they're too stubborn that they can even attack you but once you get their feeling they are the pokemons that will value relationships".

"Did you ever have any fire type mom?"

"Ahem .. yes son , you know Dad's Infernape that was mine I've just given it to him as a gift, and besides Infernape wants the company of your dad".

" Listen carefully my son", Mom said.

" Okay mom", I move my seat closer to mom to listen to what she's going to say.

" Since you are soon to have a fire type pokemon, You must be patient with it , don't be too rude to it, don't even hurt it because fire type pokemon are one of the most dangerous types. In most cases, fire type pokemon leave their trainers . In some cases , they can kill their trainer if they're too cruel with them".

"Mom you are just scaring me", I was a little bit terrified of what mom said to me , But in any way she gave me a vital information about that pokemon, I will be a great Pokemon trainer just like what mom and dad accomplished when they we're.
