4 FIRST POKEMON BATTLE

After a week of staying at Pewter City I will be going home today. I had already packed up my things and went straight ahead to the train station, Hiennrich leave also to start his journey he is going to Vermilion City.

An hour later, when I was on the train I saw a pokemon on the skies, It was a huge , colorful bird it passes the rainbow before it disappear .

After the Two hour trip I finally made home , I'm really excited to go home. I walk through the forest to train my Pokemons or have my third catch.

I saw a Ratata in the nearside of the river drinking some water .

Rattata is a small, quadruped rodent Pokemon. Its most notable feature is its large teeth. Like most rodents, its teeth grow continuously throughout its life and must be worn down by gnawing. Rattata has purple fur on its back, and cream fur on its stomach. It has a pair of thin, cream-colored whiskers and a long tail that curls at the tip. Females have shorter whiskers and lighter fur color.

Rattata can live wherever it can find food, which it searches for most of the day. Thanks to its sharp fangs, it is able to eat nearly anything. When it is threatened, Rattata can deliver a powerful bite. Its large teeth are also useful when using its former signature moves, Hyper Fang and Super Fang. Its hardiness lets it live in many environments, although it mainly lives on plains and savannas. Because it reproduces so quickly, a pair of Rattata can quickly colonize an area.

I free out Growlithe.

"Grooww" ...

Growlithe use flamethrower!

The Ratata dodged the attack and counter it with bite .

Growlithe dodge it and use Fire fang .

Growlithe successfully dodged it and hit Ratata with fire fang . Ratata is fainted. For many times we fought some pokemons in order to make Growlithe attacks stronger.

Then I train next my Zubat , I look some Weedle to improve Zubat Poison power by defeating Weedles.

Lastly, summone out Geodude to perform some fights too.

" Geodude let's hunt some Spearows"

" Geoo ...."

Geodude also performed well and we managed to catch 3 Spearow, A total of 3 Ratata, 4 Caterpie, 7 Weedle all for Poke Trade for next week.

When I got home, I saw dad training its Kabutops

Dad !! I'm home

Hey son ! Come here .

I put my stuff first at home and went out to talk with dad .

"Kabutops use Cut!"

Kabutops attacks the tree and cut it down easily.

"Good job Kabutops".

"Kab .. Kab.. Kabutops"..

With a body closely resembling a living skeleton, Kabutops has a half-moon, disc shaped head, with two small, forward facing eyes. Its body has a light gray chest plate with a brown shell resembling a visible backbone, containing three ribs protruding on each side and a thick pointed tail. It does not have hands, but large, sharp, gray scythes. Its legs are brown and thin, leading into small feet with two large gray claws.

"Do you like to have a little pokemon battle son?"

"Yes dad. Let's have a fight ,but give me some advantage".

"Okay ,son. It will be a my Kabutops against your Two pokemons."

"Let's start it dad" ..

"Come on out Growlithe "..

"Grooww.. litheee.."

"Alright , Kabutops use Cut !" dad commanded his pokemon.

"Growlithe dodge it and use flamethrower" !

"Grooww .. litheee...."

"Kabutops dodge and use cut ".

Growlithe was hit by the attack and It felt hurt . So I make it some adjustments.

"Growlithe use quick attack and when you get close use fire fang."

"Kabutops use ancient power ! "

Growlithe is hurt again this time .

"Are you okay Growlithe ?? "

"Grooww.. lithe.."

"Quick attack again. "

At this time I was surprised because while running he turned into a wheel of fire. It learns flame wheel.

It dealt damage to Kabutops . But it stood firm.

"Kabutops finish it with Hyper Beam!"

That attack defeated my Growlithe. I get so more excited .

"Growlithe return , take good rest."

"Come out now! Zubat !"

"Zuuu..."

"Zubat use Supersonic! "

Kabutops hurt with it, but it counter again with a cut which damages zubat a lot.

" Zubat uses Gust!"

But it doesn't effect Kabutops .

"Kabutops use Ancient Power. "

It hurt my Zubat, but an unfamiliar glowing light came out in my Zubat. That scenario triggers Zubat to evolve into a Golbat .

Golbat is a large, blue bat-like Pokemon with purple wing membranes. It has small eyes with slit pupils and a massive mouth containing four fangs; females have smaller fangs than males. These fangs are sharp enough to pierce thick hide, and have hollow tubes specialized for sucking blood; however, they are also fragile. While its mouth seems to be otherwise empty, Golbat occasionally displays a long, purple tongue. Its pointed ears are tiny, and it has short legs with long, thin feet.

It feeds on the blood of both Pokemon and humans, and is capable of drinking over 10 ounces (300 mL) of blood in one sitting. Golbat drinks so much blood that its blood type will change to that of its victim following a feed. It is also gluttonous, occasionally gorging itself to the extent that it becomes too heavy to fly, leaving itself vulnerable in turn. Golbat is nocturnal, and can be found quite easily in caves.

"Golbat uses Supersonic!"

Kabutops hurt with it ,but stood firm and does not affected.

"Kabutops use Hyber Beam! " and hit my Golbat and fainted .

"That was a good fight son , you did well, train more with your pokemons."

"Thanks dad , you're really a strong trainer . I hope to be just like you someday. "

"Of course son, you will and even became more of that."

I hear Skyler was screaming, we hurriedly ran to find out what's happening inside our house .

We found out that the poke egg is hatching, many cracks showed up and it started to move. it's finally hatching !

We totally focused our eyes on the glowing white light as it faded a figure revealed, and a Torchic emerged from it .

Dad immediately find some clean cloth to wipe the slime of Torchic on the face so that it will not poison it.

Chic...chicc.... Torchic ..

I smiled widely as I finally recognized by Torchic , it came to me and stared at me it is cute . I throw a pokeball which hit the ground and capture my newly hatch pokemon.

After a few minutes, I released it so that it can familiarize its surrounding and know its trainer.

Hey Torchic, I'm Bj your trainer , I will be taking care of you now, We will be the best team ever. I'll be training you to become a great blaziken someday.

Chicc. torchic ...

Torchic is a small, chick Pokemon with stubby, downy, yellow wings. Its body is covered with orange feathers. There is an orange and yellow crest on its head that resembles a flame. Its two thin legs and short beak of are a light brownish yellow, and the feet have three toes in front and one in the back. A male Torchic will have a small black speck on its rear that is not present in females.

Somewhere in its belly, this Pokemon has a place where it keeps a flame. This internal flame causes Torchic to feel warm if hugged. When attacked, it will shoot fireballs of 1,800 °F (1,000 °C) at its foes, leaving them scorched black. It dislikes darkness, as it cannot see its surroundings. Torchic will follow its Trainer with unsteady steps. While Torchic is rarely found in the wild, it is known to inhabit grasslands.

I'm so lucky to have this new pokemon of mine , thanks to Professor Balmond for giving me this one. I asked dad if he knew the contact info of professor.

"Dad , Do you have any contact info of Professor Balmond ?"

"Yes son , I do have".

He gave his pokemon contact number and I immediately go to the computer and swipe my card, then dial the number of professor.

"Hello?"

"Hi, Professor this is Bj the one you'd given a poke egg ".

"Alright, How is it ?"

"Professor, it finally hatches! " I answered with a smile in mine.

" As I expected, It is a Torchic, I knew it since first time I give it to you . "

"How come ??"

" I found that egg in a cave at Floramaura in Hoenn region, I saw two eggs on a nest left in that cave , A mother Blaziken is very angry when I tried to get close in it but I've waited for a time when the hen got off and look for food , that time I climb up there and stole the one ."

"So you stole the egg from its mother ?"

" Kinda, but I just did a good thing for both chick, Once the eggs hatch, the survival between the two starts because they are just having a single parent, Their father was dead after a fierce fight with a Salamence and only the mother had remained so it will had the responsibility to feed them and care for them, meaning food is limited to the both chick. As they reach two months old the mother will choose between the two which she will take care of and will be fed, the other will be unlucky because for survival the other will be eaten by the mother so that the other chick and her survives. I think I've done a meaningful work ."

I was amazed by the nature of Blaziken, I am speechless with what professor told me .

"I had a big responsibility right? professor?"

"Yes Indeed, Torchic is a rare pokemon so you must take good care of it , "

"I will professor "

" How's being a new trainer?"

"Ahem, well it so much fun and exciting ."

" How many pokemon do you have ?"

" I have three other pokemon beside Torchic, I had my starter pokemon Growlithe and my first is Geodude and the second catch is Golbat".

" Growlithe? Ahhh .. Ohh I forgot to tell you that changes they made so you choose a fire type pokemon, And a Golbat? How come you caught a Golbat ?"

" I caught a nearly evolving zubat in the past three weeks in the cave in Pewter city, and gladly today it evolve during the battle with my dad."

" How about the Geodude?".

" I caught it on the mountain trail on our way to the cave. It was my first ever catch."

" Well , Bj if you need some advices or help don't ever hesitate to call me, Take care of your pokemons."

" Yes Indeed, Professor".

" I gotta go, bye " he said.

"bye , " I replied.

After I talked with the professor, I prepared my pokemon for training today, I walked upon the nearby river banks and grasslands to train my Geodude, Growlithe, Golbat and Torchic.

Growlithe listen, In making you one of the best let's improve your fire type ability. First, you attack that tree.

"Right there !" while pointing on the tree.

Grooww ..lithee..

Use your Flame Wheel , Flamethrower and Fire fang to take down and burn that tree.

Grooww .. lithe..

While you Golbat let's hunt some bug type and poison type pokemon. Suck their blood and their poison core, the more your victim the higher your poison core develops.

" Gollll.....Golbat ..

" I apologize to you, but in this world you can't promise to not hurt any pokemon , it's for survival, you must understand."

" Now you Geodude, Let's build your strength by lifting some boulders."

" Geooo... dudddeee.."

Golbat first victim was a Kakuna on the tree , and later on attack a beehive of a beedrill . maybe it attack 4 beehive which is a good source of honey . On his next attack , I observed that it is getting stronger as long as it attacks the poison core of its victim.

I collected all of its victims and put them in pokeball and so I will be able to send them later in the Pokemon Center and released them back near the Pewter Valley. The honey we collected was 15 galoons , I would sell the 10 galoons and gonna use 5 galoons for making pokemon food .

While my Growlithe and Golbat are busy in training, And Geodude busy Lifting huge boulders. I was observing the behavior of my Torchic. It is a playful one because it imitate the moves done by Growlithe except of flame wheel.

It uses flamethrower continuously like it is playing . The heat they produce makes the surrounding even more warmer which Torchic really loves .

Every honey I collected was filled into a bottle container and every weedle was been caught . I commanded Golbat not to hunt queen beedrill or kakunas so that their population here will not decrease.

Its move right there we're quite interesting , so I ordered it to use peck to attack on trees. And Assist Growlithe in burning that century old tree .

And suddenly, a beehive of a beedrill was been disturbed the army of beedrill appeared they feel mad at what Growlithe and Torchic done .

"Golbat come here "

Gol !..

"Growlithe use Flamethrower , Golbat use Supersonic, Geodude use rock throw and Torchic use Flamethrower "

I commanded them then they defeated all of the colony. After that we moved near the riverbanks to have some lunch .

I feed them a mixed of honey and berries . I taste the beedrill honey too, it was truly delicious . While we are busy eating an unfamiliar sound and movement emerge in the other side. In the grass came out a wounded Scyther, It has tied rope on its feet which give me the conclusion that it is been caught by poachers . I cross the river and carry the scyther to our side .

Scy ..Scytt....

"Scyther? who did this to you ?"

Scytheeerrr... I felt the he is shivering from pain .

I open my sling bag to look for bandage , and gave him some first aid . Scyther left arm was fracture so I put some stick for supporting the fractured portion and gently wrapped it.

Scyther feel so relief when I help it.

Suddenly, A group of poachers appeared . They carrying Rope guns and Tranquilizers. Two of them were masked and one of them is unmasked which revealed his face .

" What luck today, guys we got some new prey!"

"You're right , buddy ! "

" He got a rare pokemons , !"

" What are you doing in this place !!, This is a protected area for pokemon "
