7 S1E7:The Journey Begins

After chasing off Team Rocket Foxx helps the other aids repair the damaged lab. This took him back to the day he met Vulpix. It took them less time to fix the lab then it did to clean up the Poke Center.

"Foxx we need to talk son." called Professor Oak as he approached the hard working duo.

"What's the matter pa?" asked Foxx as he sat down to rest and let Vulpix on his lap.

"Well today is the tenth anniversary of the day I found you on the lab door step. And though I've enjoyed raising you and having you around it is time you choose a starter Pokemon and begin your journey." replied Oak only to pause for a moment before adding, "Of course you already have Vulpix so all you need to do is go and get your trainer's card and you're free to travel the world."

"But pa I thought I could stay here and help you." sadly replied Foxx tilting his head slightly to one side.

"Son you know as much as me that your place is not studying Pokemon. If there is anything I've learned over the past three years it is that you should seek out three people. The first is your old friends Ash and Pikachu. The second person is my friend Bill. And lastly the Pokeball maker known as Kurt. These three will help you reach your true destiny." replied Oak as he placed a hand on Foxx's shoulder.

"And what would that be?" asked Foxx

"Only you can truly know that." replied Oak pausing to add, "I'd recommend meeting up with Bill first seeing as he is the closest to Pallet Town at the time. I'll even send him a letter telling him you're on your way."

"Can't I stay and help you finish the repairs first?"

"There is no need for you to delay your destiny to help us clean up here."

"Then I leave after breakfast in the morning." replied Foxx as he stood up and hugged Professor Oak. "Thanks for everything pa."
