Chapter 19

Team Rocket's Escape. _________________________________________________

"Wait here, Ria. I will search for Meowth." Silver said to Ria, asking her to keep an eye on Jessie.

"Okay." Ria said with a crazy look as she looked at Jessie.

"Riolu came. Let's look around to find where Meowth is hidden." Silver said to Riolu.

"Rioo. Riolu." Riolu went with Silver.

Silver planned to search around the unique bushes and trees of Route 2 as they all are good places to hide.

He first decided to start by checking around the balloon, which the team rocket used to escape from the Pokémon Centre.

"What's wrong?" Jessie asked, feeling Ria's creepy gaze upon her.

Ria looked at Silver and Riolu, who were far from her.

"Eevee tickle her." Ria said Eevee.

Eevee jumped from Ria's shoulder and used its paws to pat Jessie's body in a unique way.

"Hahahahaha. Stop, stop, hahahahahahaha," Jessie begged Ria, unable to stop laughing.

Silver went near the balloon quickly.

A few seconds before. -----------------------------------------------

"59,60.." Meowth was picking up the Pokeballs and putting them in the backpack.

Meowth was looking at everyone once in a while. So, Meowth decided to quickly glance at everyone again.

'Ho, crap! That kid is looking around. Looks like he is searching for me.' Meowth stopped picking the remaining Pokeballs and hid on the other side of the balloon to be not spotted by Silver.

Back to the current time. --------------------------------------------------

Silver and Riolu quickly got near the balloon.

Silver closed his eyes and sensed the nearby Aura.

"Caught you." 'Meowth should be male like in the anime.' Silver sensed the Aura of Pokémon on the other side of the balloon while thinking about the gender of Meowth.

Silver cannot sense the Aura of a larger area, but it is easy for him to sense Aura from 3 to 5 meters.

"Riolu." Silver signaled to Riolu.

"Rioo." Riolu nodded its head.

Riolu and Silver go in different directions so that Meowth cannot escape.

'I hope they don't find me.' Meowth was thinking about how to escape from Silver and Riolu.

Silver came from the right side of the balloon, whereas Riolu came from the left side.

Meowth had no choice but to fight or run straight. Meowth knows that he is trash in battle. Therefore, Meowth throws the Pokeballs as a weapon against Silver.

Meowth cannot command the Pokémon inside the Pokeball to fight, so he can use Pokeballs like throw balls to attack.

Silver just forms an Aura barrier around himself with his Aura.

All the Pokeballs Meowth just picked up are now piled up in front of the Aura barrier as they fell after hitting the barrier. Riolu was looking from the other direction since Silver didn't say it to attack. Silver wanted to see how team rocket would blast off if Pokémon didn't attack.

"Ha." Meowth puts his hand in the team rocket's backpack to look for Pokeball to throw, but there is no Pokeball left.

Meowth realized that in order to escape, he wasted all of the team rocket's efforts.

"James, Jessie escape." Meowth shouted loudly, quickly pressing a few buttons on his backpack in just a few seconds. Silver and Riolu did not stop Meowth from pressing these buttons as they didn't know what he is doing.

Meowth's backpack emitted flames, and he flew off to escape. Due to the smoke accompanying the flame, Silver and Riolu couldn't attack Meowth. Due to that, Meowth got away easily.

On the other side, James who heard Meowth's shouting, responded quickly.

"Time to escape." James said as he took back Koffing from battle with Pokeball.

James's boots emitted flames and smoke in the next moment. James escaped so fast that Officer Jenny couldn't even say a single sentence.

"You cannot escape." Ria was the only one who managed to speak to Jessie, as Jessie was still laughing and tied to a tree.

"Move aside. Aside please!!!" James shouted loudly as he flew rapidly towards Ria.

Ria picked Eevee up and jumped aside. As Eevee and she could get hurt due to the speed by which James was going.

James hugged Jessie and flew away. Due to James's speed, the entire tree and Jessie were pulled away by James to escape.

"Team Rocket is blasting off." The team rocket trio shouted from the air.

The entire gang, along with Silver is shocked.

'I know that team rocket always blast-offs due to Pokémon, but this. Looking in real life is quite different.' Silver looked very shocked due to the team Rocket's actions.

In the air. ------------------------------------------------------------

"What happened to your face?" James asked Jessie as her face was red.

"That brat. You are going to pay!!" Jessie is quite angry about Ria's actions.

Jessie's face became red due to continuous laughing.

"Our sweet promotion is gone." Meowth is quite sad as he looks at James and Jessie.

Meowth's dream is to sleep in the arms of the team rocket's head.

"Don't worry we will succeed next time." James encouraged everyone that there is always next time.

"That Pikachu's strength did you see it." Jessie asked, remembering her loss.

"Yes. It was strong. They are the trainers who just started their journey. How can they have strong Pokémon like that?" James said while thinking.

"How about catching that Pokémon." Meowth said.

"Yes, let's catch that Pokémon." Jessie agreed.

"Since that Pikachu can get so strong in a short amount of time after the journey started then it has extraordinary potential. We have to absolutely catch it." Team Rocket felt that catching Pikachu was better than catching rare Pokémon.

Back to the gang. -------------------------------------------------------

"Are you fine?" Silver asked Ria and Eevee as James was almost about to hit them.

"I am fine." Ria said while patting Eevee in her arms.

"Eeveeeevee." Eevee nodded its head, indicating its fine.

"I didn't expect that they would escape like that." Misty was deeply shocked by Team Rocket's escaping method.

"That was a cool method, isn't it?" Ash's eyes were shining due to the team rocket flying method.

Everyone looked at Ash as their mouth twitched.

"What's wrong, I want to fly like that with the backpack." Ash said while hoping to fly once in the open air.

"You would be dead if you fly like that. Do you know how dangerous it is to fly in that way with such high speed?" Misty said angrily.

"Okay, I won't fly." Ash felt it was not dangerous but fun as the team rocket handled the speed and technique to fly well.

"You can fly in other ways, Ash." Silver told Ash that there are many ways to fly in the air.
