37 Chapter 37 : Eighth Badge

(Gary POV)

We came back from Cinnabar Island and reached Viridian City for my last badge . I even knew there was a mewtwo there .

I went to the Pokemon Center for Pokemon check up .

I called Grandpa . He was eating pizza at that time .

"Hey Grandpa what happened to the incident"

He became serious " Don't worry I had mentioned it to Pokemon League they well take care of it "

I nodded " Grandpa I want some pokemons back "

"Which one "

"Gengar and Nidoking "

He nodded

I transferred my golem and Kingler

I with girls travelled the whole Viridian City .

Then we went to Viridian Gym which is known as the strongest Gym .

We saw there were 2 guards for the Gym . I asked them to show me to the Gym leader .

They nodded and I followed them inside the Gym .

(3rd POV)

Gary followed by Girls came inside and saw Giovanni for the first .

Giovanni "You are here to challenge me kid "

Gary just smirked

Giovanni also smirked " Let's start then "

Guards " This will be a 3-on-3 battle between the challenger Gary Oak of the pallet town and Giovanni the Gym leader "

"Challenger can substitute his pokemon "

"Call your Pokemon at the same time "

Giovanni " Go Golem"

Gary " Go Nidoking "

*Gol**Golem*

*Nido**NidoooKing*

Girls : "Gary, Gary, he's our man. If he can't do it, no one can! Go...Gary!".

Nidoking and Golem saw each other and tried to intimidate each other .

Giovanni " Golem use rollout "

Gary " Nidoking use Mega horn "

Golem rolled towards Nidoking . Nidoking attacked the rolling Golem with his Horn. Horn struck the Golem . Golem rolled back and fainted .

Guard : " Golem is unable to battle , Nidoking wins "

Girls : "Gary, Gary, he's our man. If he can't do it, no one can! Go...Gary!".

Giovanni was shocked by the result and called his second pokemon

Giovanni " Go Kingler "

Kingler glared at Nidoking

Gary " Nidoking finish the battle with Thunder "

Thunder struck Kingler and it fainted

Guards were also shocked : " Kingler is unable to battle , Nidoking wins "

Girls : "Gary, Gary, he's our man. If he can't do it, no one can! Go...Gary!".

Seeing that Giovanni was shocked and smirked

"Kid you should feel lucky as you will be the first one to battle my new pokemon "

Gary smirked " It should be your Mewtwo "

Giovanni and Girls all were shocked by words of Gary .

Giovanni " Kid I won't let you leave here today "

Gary " That we will see "

Giovanni pressed button and a Pokemon with machines all over his body came which was precisely Mewtwo .

Giovanni " Kid you can use any number of pokemons just try to defeat it " He said like he didn't put Gary in his eyes "

Gary also smirked and called out my pokemons " Go Gengar , Blastoise and Arcanine "

All four pokemons of Gary surrounded Mewtwo .

Gary " Gengar try to go reach it's mind "

"Arcanine and Blastoise try to break it's machines "

"Rest is up to you Nidoking "

Nidoking attacked Mewtwo . Gengar started to mediate to attack Mewtwo spiritually and blastoise and Arcanine attacked Mewtwo . Mewtwo attacked all them with Psychic but was a lot weaker than anime as of Spiritual attack by Gengar .

The fight continued as the time go on . Mewtwo started losing and Gary pokemon started overpowering it . Giovanni was shocked started becoming serious from his previous joyous mood .

Once Nidoking horn connected with Mewtwo machines and one of them broke ten Mewtwo was freed . A big explosion was done by explosion of all machines . Then Mewtwo looked towards Gary deeply and ran away by destroying the Gym .

Seeing that Giovanni was scared and sad as his creation left him .

All Gary pokemon now surrounded Giovanni .

Giovanni was scared as now he didn't have a pokemon who could battle Gary .

Gary " Giovanni I will leave just give me badge " Gary smiled gently like an innocent kid and all his pokemon smirked

Giovanni gritted his teeth and threw Earth badge at Gary and ran away then Gary also leaved .

All the girls congratulated Gary . Ami asked Gary questioningly " Why didn't all your pokemons held back in the match "

That question attracted all girls . Gary just smirked and said " So Giovanni underestimate me "

All girls nodded in understanding that Gary wanted to trick Giovanni .

Ari asked "What about escaped Mewtwo "

Gary replied " Don't worry we will meet it again in the near future , Now let's go back to our home "

All of them nodded . Then we went to car to go back to Pallet town .
