Chapter 13

"Sara Davis vs Joe Williams BEGIN!" the announcer said.

Sara sent out her Oddish first and Joe sent out his Raticate who is still not fully healthy.

Joe's Raticate quickly defeated the Oddish but it had gone down when Sara's Eevee came in with 2 double kicks.

Joe then sent out his Farfetche'd but it was defeated by Sara's Eevee who had lowered its defense then kept attacking it.

Ending in Sara's win.

Next match is between Stephen Falkland vs Harry Pots

Harry pots won this round as his Slowpoke had sweeped Stephen's team his Skorupi got one shotted by Slowpokes confusion and his Chimchar fell down with 2 water guns and the 2nd water gun was a Critical hit so his Chimchar got knocked out but his slowpoke was heavily Damaged so it won't be doing good in the next battle.

Next is between Troy Smith and Louis Johnson.

Louis sent out his Poliwag first as he knew Troy had only brought out his Pidgeotto.

Louis was lucky when Troy got arrogant and Poliwag used Hypnosis on the bird and had beaten it with mud shot since it isn't moving right now Flying types aren't immune to Ground type moves if they aren't moving.

Troy's next Pokémon was a Bellsprout and Louis' Poliwag got defeated pretty quickly but it didn't go out without a fight and damaged the Bellsprout pretty badly so Louis' Bulbasaur defeated the Bellsprout.

Now the last battle for the 2nd match Art vs Fred Deltra.

"Now for the final battle in the 2nd round! Art Ketchum vs Fred Deltra! Both trainers send out your Pokémon" The announcer said.

Fred let out Magnemite since he thought Art would send out Ray but he didn't and sent out Psychi.

"Not using Pikachu now?" Fred said as he looked at Art.

"Just thought I'd let her rest" Art replied.

"Match BEGIN!" the Referee.

"Calm mind then Teleport if it attacks" Art quickly made a command as Psychi did a calm mind.

"Damnit Magnemite Thunder shock!" Fred said as his Magnemite fired a thundershock towards Psychi but she dodges with Teleport.

"Now Shadow ball" Art said as Psychi fired a shadow ball, during the years with Prof. Oak Art had been collecting some tms and tms in this world can be used infinitely and are really expensive Art had gotten them when he accompanies Prof. Oak on gatherings and some of the Professors gave him gifts since they want to form a connection to someone whose litteraly close to Prof. Oak and is a genius said by Prof. Oak.

The Shadow ball the magnemite which knocked it back.

"Magnemite Tackle!" Fred said as his magnemite rushed off towards Psychi.

"Counter with Fire punch" Art said as Psychi dodged the tackle and punched the Magnemite back with her flaming fist.

"Magnemite are you okay?" Fred said worriedly asked his magnemite which had took the brunt of the attack.

{Magnemite} Magnemite nodded towards its trainer because both of them didn't expect that a special attack like an Abra would use a physical move.

"Nice trick up your sleeve there, looks like I'll have to be careful now" Fred said as he was trying to think of a plan.

"Confusion" Art said as Psychi then quickly fired a Confusion which wasn't very effective but it confused magnemite.

"Damnit" Fred cursed as he completely forgot he was in a battle.

"Magnemite fire Thunder shocks!" Fred desparately said as he couldn't get around Art since Art would just counter him.

"Protect" Art said as Psychi covered herself in a protective Orb.

*Boom!* *Boom!* *Boom!*

The thundershocks hit Psychis Barrier which is now cracked but she's still fine.

'I haven't even gotten a hit yet, his Abra is really fast' Fred thought since everytime he makes a move Art and Psychi were always faster.

[Hihi master am I doing good?] Psychi said.

'You are, but focus on the first' Art told her as she focused on the fight.

"Magnemite use Tackle!" Fred said as Magnemite then rushed towards Psychi again.

"Dodge it's attacks" Art said as he made Psychi dodge the magnemites assault.

Psychi began dodging the magnemites attempts at Tackling her.

'He's really good, how can I beat him?' Fred thinks as he saw a corner.

'I know' Fred said.

"Magnemite keep tackling it!" Fred said.

Magnemite then saw what it's trainer is trying to do so it kept tackling Psychi into a corner.

"What are you going to do now? Magnemite use Thunder shock!" Fred said as he cornered Psychi but Art just smiled.

"Are you sure about that?" Art said as Fred got wide eyed and quickly paid attention to the battle field but sighed when he saw nothing wrong.

"Nice bluff" Fred said to Art as he smiled back.

"Really now?" Art said as in the battle field there was a white light.

"What?!" Fred exclaimed as he saw Psychi growing bigger.

"What an unbelievable sight! We see Arts Abra evolving into a Kadabra!" the announcer said.

"lucky bastard" Fred mumbled but he didn't know that Art and his Pokémon are Holding back and he had no chance of winning in the first place.

"Psychi Let's end this with Fire punch" Art said as Psychi then teleported behind the Magnemite.

{Magnemite!} Magnemite was caught off guard by the sudden presence behind as Psychi dissappeared in front of it.

[No hard feelings this is a Tournament] Psychi said towards the Magnemite as She punches the Steel type knocking it out.

"What?" Fred said as he was surprised by the amount of power that Fire punch held for the Abra line.

"Magnemite is unable to battle Kadabra wins!" The referee announced.

"You did good Magnemite" Fred said to his Pokémon as he grabbed his Spearow pokeball.

"Go! Spearow!" Fred said as he let out his Spearow.

"Psychi return" Art called her back to her poke ball which confused alot of people.

"Alright Ray you are up" Art said as Ray then entered the battle Arena.

"Your switching?" Fred asked.

"We joined this tournament for my partner here" Art just said.

"Begin!" The referee said.

"Spearow Peck" Fred said as he knew he didn't stand a chance now that his Magnemite is down now.

"let's end this, Thunder bolt" Art said as Ray accurately fired a fast Thunderbolt towards the Spearow.

"Spearow is unable to battle, Art and Pikachu wins" The referee said as Fred returned his Spearow.

"*Sigh* guess this isn't my day" Fred said as he walked out a bit upset that he got eliminated but there's a participation prize so he isn't that sad.

"Well then everyone! The 2nd round has ended we will now be preparing for the 3rd round!"

*Art PoV*

"Looks like 1 more battle and we can get what we came here for" i said to Ray to which she happily cheered.

"Alright heres your Oran berry smoothie" i said as I gave her, her favorite drink.

I had gave Psychi a smoothie that helps with her psychic typing.

"The Third round will be starting in a few minutes" The announcer said.

"Looks like we won't have much rest like last round" I said as both girls nodded.
