2 Chapter 2: Google System! Starter Pokemon?

'Urgh! Where did he send me to? I thought I said that I want my starting point to be in the Pallet City.' I thought as I looked at my surroundings.

I was in the wild with grasslands surrounding me.

'First! I should check out the package he gave me.' I thought as I tried to call out the system in my mind and unexpectedly, it really was a system though it kinda disappointed me.

'A starter huh! I was racking my brain to think about how to get my starter but unexpectedly, the God is quite good to give me that.'

Then, 10 pokeballs, a trainer card that consisted of basic information, etc., and a card with the words written "Random Starter." With 10K pokedollar appeared one after another as I stuffed the things into my pocket.

'Oh okay!' I thought as I tore the card and then the card mysteriously disappeared as a pokeball appeared in its stead.

Then, I lightly threw the pokeball in the air and from it, a Charmander came out.

"Charrrr" It looked at me confusedly.

"Hey! Charmander. I'm Alex, your new trainer." I greeted the orange lizard who looked at me.

"I want to be the Pokémon master and for it, I need your help. Will you help me?" I said as I extended my hand toward Charmander who looked at my hand.

It looked at my hand for some time before it came near my hand and grabbed it with its small paw-like hand.

"Good! Let's try to be the best!" I said as I smiled at the orange lizard who smiled.

"Charrrrmanderrrrr" it said as it smiled at me.

After that, I took out Charmander's pokeball and called him back.

Then, I looked at the map and then, I looked for the safest way to reach Viridian City.

It was early in the morning, so I slowly made my way toward Viridian City.

On my way on Route 1, I didn't encounter any Pokémon as I took the safest route to Viridian City.

And as I was halfway through reaching Viridian City, it started to rain, so I quickly took out the niceties that the system provided and made a tent and waited inside the tent for the storm to subside.

**Thunder Sound** **Raining Sound**

It's been a little over half an hour, but the storm hasn't lessened but instead, it has been growing strong and if not for the strong tent provided by the system, the tent would have been torn to shreds by now.

Since the rain wasn't going to stop any time now, so I slept in the tent as I was quite exhausted. Not physically exhausted but mentally exhausted as I went through so many things.

After who knows how long, the storm finally stopped and I walked out of the tent.

After I stored the tent, I started to make my way toward Viridian City.

As the storm has just stopped, I could see a rainbow in the sky so, I looked at the rainbow for some time....

But then, I spotted a large golden bird flying by the rainbow as it let out a huge growl.

"Grrerrrrrrrrrrrrr"

As it started to disappear from my view, I looked down only to see a feather of the bird that just flew away.

"Guess I also got the feather of the Ho-oh like Ash." Muttering this under my breath, I started to once again make my way to Viridian City.

Using the safest route, I quickly arrived at Viridian City after 3 or 4 hours.

Viridian City was a bustling city with tall buildings and paved streets with a vibrant atmosphere.

As I was about to enter the city, an Officer Jenny came forward to me.

"STOP! Show me your identification." She said to me as she showed a stopping hand sign.

"Oh okay!" I replied with indifference as I took out my trainer card which was also used as identification by the trainers.

After inspecting my trainer card and not finding anything wrong, she said.

"Oh! So, you're a trainer huh! Sorry for the inconvenience as it is necessary because a notorious crime organization known as Team Rocket has been rising and that's why." She said as I nodded at her.

"That's fine. I understand and if there's nothing now, I shall go." I said with an indifferent attitude and left from there to the Viridian City.

After I entered the city, I made my way to the Pokémon Center that was in the heart of the Viridian City.
