Chapter 2: Name and the first Pokémon

Nuvema town, Professor Juniper's lab

It was a sunny, spring day. Young woman was sitting in rocking chair in front of a large building, she was gently rubbing her belly and singing a beautiful song. Pokémon, which were in the lab and in the nearby forest, stopped their multiple activities and were listening to her singing.

There was a young Unfezant family, building a nest on the tree, which was growing to the left of the lab. It was the beginning of breeding season so they have just started to build a new home for their future offspring, but they stopped their work for an opportunity to listen to a beautiful singing, which was almost as beautiful as singing of legendary Meloetta.

Group of Patrats and Watchogs came from the nearby forest and sat on the short grass. They were digging burrows to build a new home for their colony. Finally, three different Pokémon were sitting next to a young woman and listening to her beautiful performance. This calm atmosphere lasted for ten minutes, when suddenly someone greeted to a woman and everything went back to normal.

"Hey, Aurea, how do you fell, my dear? "

"Hmm...Ah, it is you Lenora, I was not expecting to see you today. I am fine, just a little bit tired but it is ok, since pregnancy is not an easy thing. How is your son Cheren doing? Is he alright? "

After eight hours long and painful birth giving, it was finally over. Tired, but happy woman was lying on the bed and waiting for doctor, who will bring her newly born son. Suddenly, someone knocked on the door and they started to open slowly. When they were opened, doctor entered the room with a child in his hands.

"Mrs. Juniper, your son is healthy and you can take him now. "he gave a child to her.

"Oh, just look at you, you are adorable. "

"What is his name? "doctor was smiling, because of a scene in front of him.

"I know, he will shine in the future so he will be Aiden, Aiden Juniper. "said woman, who was smiling brightly towards a child, who will one day shake the world.

Ten years old boy was standing in the middle of the room. There were three large bookshelves, which were standing against the wall in the room. Two of them were filled with science books and the other one was full of different fairy tales, comic books and adventure novels. He especially liked stories about different legendary Pokémon. His favourite ones were legends about Zekrom and Reshiram, Creation trio, Swords of justice, Aura trio, Darkrai and Victini.

Walls of the room were wallpapered by multiple posters of league champions, famous researchers and Pokémon. In the corner of the room was standing a desk with a computer on it. On the other side of the room was standing a bed and a small table with an alarm clock on it.

Boy was wearing a black coat, white shirt, pair of black jeans and black boots. He also had a black and white coloured backpack on his shoulders. He checked the time and left home in direction of the lab.

Professor Juniper's lab

"Mom, I am here. "

"Come here, honey. "he heard a voice from the biggest room in the lab.

When he entered the room, he saw woman with a gentle smile, blond girl and a boy with dark hair.

"Hello, sweetie, please meet Bianca and say hello to Cheren. "

"Nice to meet you, Bianca. My name is Aiden. "he simply bowed his head in greet.

"Yay, I am very happy to see you too! "she appeared in front of Aiden and started to quickly shake his hand with a bright smile on her face.

Few moments later, he successfully cancelled their handshake and went towards Cheren.

"Long time no see, Cheren. How is your mom doing? "

"Good, she became gym leader again and my dad returned back to a museum. "

"Okay boys and girl, you will have time to get to know each other better, later. Now come by one and choose your starter Pokémon. "prof. Juniper threw three pokéballs, from which, with a flash of light, appeared three different Pokémon.

"These three are Snivy, Oshawott and Tepig. Each one of them is related to a specific type of energy. Snivy is grass type Pokémon, Oshawott is water type Pokémon and Tepig is fire type Pokémon. "

"Okay, so who goes first? "asked prof. Juniper.

"Ladies first. "

"Sure. "Cheren agreed with Aiden.

"Oh, thank you, thank you, thank you, boys! "Bianca cheered up and rushed towards the Unova starters.

"Hmm... it was a tough decision but I will pick Tepig. "she said after two minutes long silence.

"Ok, now boys, who will go first? "

"Go on, Aiden. I can wait a little bit longer. "

"Ok, thank you. "Aiden went straight to a grass type Pokémon.

"I will take Snivy, mom. "

"Ok, honey. "then she turned to Cheren.

"Are you satisfied, that you are starting your journey with Oshawott? "

"Yes, mam, besides I did not know, which one of the three to pick so I would be satisfied with anyone of them. "

"Good, now Cheren and Bianca, please come closer. "she picked some items from her table.

"These are yours pokéballs and pokédexes. Now, you both can start your own journey "a bright smile appeared on her face.

"Bye Aiden, I hope we will see each other again. "Bianca left the lab and ran towards a nearby forest.

"See ya, Aiden. "Cheren also left the lab and went to a similar direction as Bianca did.

"Come here, honey. "prof. Juniper opened one of the shelves of her desk and pulled something out from it.

"These are your pokéballs and this is a device instead of your pokédex. It can track progress and stats of your Pokémon and have the same functions as a normal pokédex. You can also call with it, using it like a map and making quick shops with it. Money will be removed from your bank account and you will be able to pick up your buy at nearby pokécenter. "she gave him a device, which was looking like watches.

"M-mom, thank you. "his voice started to tremble and he hugged her tightly.

"I love you, mom. "

"I love you too, my boy. "she hugged him too.

They were standing like that for a minute then they cancelled the hug.

"Now go and become the best Pokémon trainer in the world. "

"I will, mom. I will not disappoint you. "he waved to her and left the lab.

When Aiden was entering the forest, strange, mechanic voice appeared from nowhere.

Memories started to enter his mind. He saw his first encounter with god and his tasks. He remembered every single detail of their conversation.

Except one. God deleted a fragment, where he was the one, who gave device to Aiden.
