Ch2-Where's my promised starter?

I take a deep breath and try to take out the thing inside my pocket with excitement.

what the actual fuck?????????, why is it a wallet, where the heck is my Riolu, how in the hell should I even make it to oak's lab without a pokemon.

I calm down first and look around to figure out my situation, this looks like route 1 caz I see a lot of pidgey and rattata around..... ahhhh I finally see a metal board in the south from where I stand showing direction to pallet town, good at least I know in which way I should go but hope I don't get killed by a swarm of beedrill or angry Spearow, I mentally make a note that I am not ash with a plot armour and I won't be able to escape them.

Now then...let's go south, as I am walking I realize that pidgey and rattata look exactly like they were in the anime, if I don't make eye contact with any of those and I would be fine, I think it will take some time before I reach pallet town so let's get some things sorted, one I don't know where or how I will get my starter, two I don't even know how to explain my background to professor Oak and finally as a steel and fairy type pokemon fan, I should search a lot for them because they are too rare in Kanto, mainly the fairy type pokemon. Steel types and fairy type pokemon have cool design and grace around them, unlike the other types, not to forget steel types have great resistance to other types and fairy are immune to dragons.

Now that I think about it, according to games and anime fairy type was introduced in gen 6 so it's the same here or is the discovery already made? irrespective of anything the only fairy type line native to Kanto will still be a fairy and not normal type like the gen 1 game, I have to go search in Mt.Moon after my first gym.

Fairy type might be introduced late but it's a type that counters all those big dragons, I remember wrecking a pseudo legendary like hydreigon with a small bug-like ribombee, with x4 weakness to fairy it did not stand a chance in the games against fairy types.

Oh wait...I suddenly remember something, I got a wallet from the god, right? let's see what's inside, I open the brown wallet in my hand and look into it, I see a greeting card of some sort and 2000 poke-dollars, at least god did not leave me broke but what's weird is that this greeting card looks like some sort of ID but everything is blank, maybe it gets filled if I think about it.

let's see, what name should I go with?hmm some cool name would be great something like drake, ash, red...Gunn let's go with Gunn Lancelot, looks lavish and royal.

Age 14, parents: orphan and finally region: Seafoam islands would be better as it's remote and no one would have much doubts, the moment I think all these things suddenly everything pops on the ID card, now I feel a bit relieved as I don't need to worry about explaining my background to prof.Oak.

As I was daydreaming, I see that I am surrounded...what the heck??? Are these rattata thinking that I am their food?? fuck fuck fuck!!!!!! I knew nothing good would come out of walking without pokemon and now I am gonna die, I never knew rattata were so intelligent to work in groups and set an ambush.

Right at that moment, I see a big light browny green rattata which looked almost double the size of other purple ones, realization struck me like thunder, this shiny piece of shit is the mastermind, no wonder I was walking leisurely and nothing attacked me till now.

I have only one way out of this that is to run like there is no other day, as I start to run.. out of nowhere something hit me from the back and it was like I was hit with a 10kg dumbbell, fuck I am sure it's a quick attack or tackle.

I fall and roll to the ground, I hear a cracking sound confirming that something broke inside but I grit my teeth and run as fast as I can, I can clearly see houses far ahead, I need to make it there no matter what or else everything I dreamed will go to drain.

As I am running I can feel something biting my thighs and I am sure it's a rattata using a bite, I look behind to see the rest of them chasing me like maniacs and their leader shining with white light, that's surely a bad sign Caz it's either an evolution or a double edge attack, considering the situation it will be the latter. I used my hands to pull the other rattata on my thigh to get rid of it while running and I need to think of something to escape the double edge which will be on me in any second.

For a fact I know that double edge has a recoil damage and that shiny rattata is taking some time to get that attack on me which means it's not familiar with the move yet, so I need to find something hard and time my dodge exactly in such a way that it hits the obstacle Infront, as I look ahead I see a big boulder right Infront of me so now time to execute the plan.

I run straight towards the boulder and I can feel my hair raising with goosebumps as I know something is coming from behind, I tell myself to wait for it and when my brain rings alarm bells of incoming danger I jump towards left and the incoming shiny piece of shit crashes into the boulder.

Boom boom...I don't even care for the impact and run straight as all other rattata were stunned that it's leader missed the target, I can clearly see myself nearing to a board that read "Welcome to Pallet Town" in bold letters, the moment I looked back and thought I escaped from the onslaught, I saw a beam of white light gathering in the shiny rattata's mouth and I knew it was ice beam, this shiny shit knew too many powerful moves and I am sure I can't escape it, I am gonna be frozen to death.

As I await my death from behind I also see a hyper beam coming straight towards me from ahead, I realized that the beam was not aimed towards me and I was relieved as fuck but the impact of those beams collision made me fly forward like a bullet and crash into a random tree.

I am sure my ribs broke as I crashed into the tree and the blood was dripping from my forehead, the pain was so intense that I would faint any moment now and the last thing I remember before I pass out was seeing a blurry yellow antenna.
