First of all, whoever is reading Thank You for choosing this book. Since you selected this story as your next read you must be familiar with Pokémon. If you're just an anime watcher then you must know Ash Ketchum. If you also fancy Pokémon games, there's no way you haven't heard of Isamu Akai or Red as we mostly know him.

Now Red was never introduced in the main anime series, though we can find a lot of sharing characters like Cynthia, Kukui, and Prof. Oak; both Red and Ash have never been shown together. This story clears that problem. Now this is severely a work of fiction, I considered Red's power as it is in the anime Pokémon: Origins, The manga Pokémon: Adventures, Pokémon Gen 1 and Gen 2 games, and a whole lot of fiction.

This story will continue after the events of Pokémon: Journeys which means Ash is the World Champion. I along with my Friend had this Idea of the perfect moment to introduce Red and I decided to form a concrete story on that Idea. There might be many points of conflict but I'll try to clear as much as possible and hope to make a perfect story since, you know, Red is involved. Also, I addressed the topic of Ash and Serena's relationship in my way which gives rise to a little moderation in the anime.

Ash rather than being the forever 10, is 18 at the time of winning the world championship since I can't write a proper relationship development with two 10 year old's and Serena also is 18 along with him. Considering such a timeline you can consider all the characters to be 8 years older than how they are portrayed in the anime. Also, this might cause some misunderstandings but I'll do my best to not let that happen. It's just a fun concept, So please ignore some plot variations occurring.
