6 Chapter 5 - Cards

Third person POV

 Their Pokémon mecardimals are annoyed of being shoved into their Trainers' bags. 

 "Ash, why did you do that for?" Ash's Lucario demanded an explanation. 

 "Yeah, why all of a sudden?" Rico's Serperior added. 

 "People would give us weird looks if you appear in the open," Ash explained in response. 

This causes them to calm down and get it what Ash had said to them. 

 "Oh, that's why." 

 "Totally makes sense." 

 "Yeah, I feel that one, too." 

Rico get his journal and pen from his bag. 

He then opened it, uncapped his pen, and started writing on the blank page. 

 "So, what are we gonna do here?" Absol asked. 

 "I have no idea, Absol," Ash responded while trying to figure out what their purpose of being in that world. "We're trying to figure that out." 

 "And also..." Serena replied, "...why did we suddenly learn their language here? It's strange." 

 "Yeah, so suddenly." Rico finished writing his journal entry.

 After that, Ash's Lucario said to Ash, "By the way, I found something strange in your backpack." 

 "What?" responded Ash. 

 "Yeah, some kind of cards in your bag, Serena," Delphox added. 

 "Yours, too, Rico," Serperior added, too. 

Rico, Ash, and Serena then grabbed their bags and checked for any cards their Pokémon mecardimals are talking about. 

Then, moments later, they pulled out stacks of cards, and they were stunned because they had never seen them before. 

That is, until they looked at the front, only to see the robot version of their Pokémon. 

Luckily, the names of their Pokémon are written at the right bottom of the cards. 

 "Woah, is that you, Pikachu?" 

 "Absol is like that?" 

 "Delphox looks so different here."

The three humans exchanged looks at each other, before showing some of the cards to their Pokemon. 

 "What? That's us?" Pikachu asked. 

 "Yeah, I think so," Ash half-agreed with him. "Your name is written on it. 

 "Absol, you looked cool in that form, I think," Rico said to Absol. 

 "Okay, strange..." Absol responded. 

 Ash then neatly arranged his cards in a stack, so as Rico and Serena, to make sure none of them would get lost. After that, Pikachu asked, "So, how can we do that?" 

 "No idea," Ash replied while thinking. "I think we have to figure it out by adapting and exploring here." 

 "Right," Serena responded with some agreement.

 "We can get clues here, too," Rico added.
