Kick Champion Down to Become An Elite Four

Inside a coffee shop in Competitor Town, six people sat around a long table.

"I didn't expect you guys to come from Dayan to Kanto to support me."

Rubbing his fingers on the bottom of the cup filled with hot coffee, Aisha looked at the five peers in front of him with some emotion, saying, "What, is the university in Dayan on vacation?"

"Yes."

Elli answered Aisha's question honestly.

Blaze, on the other hand, was unconvinced, and patted his chest, saying, "No, Instructor Ai, you're really out of line to talk like that."

"Not to mention no vacation, even if there is another college entrance exam, I have to take time off to come here to support you."

"I'm the leader of Instructor Ai's fan club in Dayan." He looked proud.

"Ahem."

As if afraid of Instructor Ai's misunderstanding, the quiet Leaf beside him also cooperated with Blaze in a rare manner.

She took out her cell phone, called up the social software page, and showed it to Instructor Ai.

"Instructor Ai, Blaze is really the leader of your fan club, several thousand people sized fan clubs are all run by him."

"Ah?"

Aisha froze, revealing a surprised expression.

He himself didn't use much social software, and he didn't care about fan clubs.

He had only heard from Sonia that he had a few large fan clubs in the Galar region.

He didn't realize that in Dayan, his own fan club was not small at all, and the manager was the same person he had only met a few times.

"This is really... I didn't expect this."

"Hey!"

Blaze, who had always had a thick skin, showed a look of embarrassment.

With a simple smile, he scratched his head and said, "After all, Instructor Ai is kind to me."

"Instructor Ai is so powerful, I can't help you much as a little trash, but helping to run your fan club is the best I can do."

"Thanks."

Aisha smiled at Blaze.

This is a true fan.

"So, Instructor Ai..."

At this moment, Hall Lee spoke up to Aisha in a somewhat awkward manner.

"What?"

"Actually, I'm a fan of yours too."

He pulled out his cell phone, showing off his Level 15 sign inside Instructor Ai's live room.

"Me too." Elli was two levels higher than Hall.

"Two losers."

Diggersby's trainer proudly displayed his Governor rank with a haughty look on his face.

But Instructor Ai still doesn't know his name, only his id [Strong Power Diggersby].

Well, I don't know if Diggersby with the Strong Power trait isolated itself by Instructor Ai's Marill.

"That's right."

Aisha took a sip of coffee and changed the topic very naturally.

"How's college life?"

He looked at the five with a bit of curiosity.

Not pretending, Instructor Ai was genuinely curious about what college life was like for Dayan in this world with Pokémon.

"Well... How can I put it?"

Blaze wrapped his arms around his chest and thought for a moment.

"Compared to life before college, it's definitely a lot more free and relaxing, and those of us who got into the Pokémon program take up a lot of classes about Pokémon compared to cultural classes... It may seem easy, but the competition within the major is particularly fierce, especially in the Battle Course."

"Oh?"

Aisha looked at him with interest and said, "Tell me about it?"

"There's not much to talk about."

Blaze spread his hands and said: "The midterm and final exams have added an additional test and competition, students who get good grades will get extra points and have more hope to enter the school's varsity team, then... Once on the varsity team, they will receive more resources from the school, and then finally take their own training results to the National University League, and try to get a good score on it."

"Pretty boring actually..."

Leaf spat out.

"I see..." Aisha nodded thoughtfully.

Then, he gave a bad smile.

"It's a good thing I took a vacation and ran away."

Otherwise, he would still be playing house with a group of college students.

Of course, Aisha said this inwardly.

He was undoubtedly a more adventurous traveler than a conventional academic.

Although both schools of trainers had their own strengths, in the end, it was the traveling school that had a higher chance of producing the truly strongest trainers.

"Instead of staying in school, I suggest that you travel for a while when you have time... Experiencing adventures in the wilderness is much more effective than staying indoors all the time." Aisha spoke a bit of his heart to them, but added a disclaimer, saying, "Of course, everyone has their own path, so maybe you guys are more suited to the academy."

"Well, I'd like to join the varsity team," Blaze heard Aisha's words, and smiled broadly as he scratched his head.

"I followed Instructor Ai's instructions to the letter and bred my Magikarp, and it did me a great service on this semester's final exams!"

"Oh?"

Aisha's gaze revealed a bit of surprise.

"Evolved?"

"Yes." Elli responded to the question instead of Blaze.

She covered her forehead and said, "No one would have thought that this guy would pull out a Gyarados right after the school year started, and from then on, he relied on this Gyarados to sit in the top ten of his grade, it's too ruthless."

"That's what they say."

Blaze raised his hand, and said, "While you guys were getting beat up at the 'Rookie Tournament', I was working on my Big Stormy1, and I started the school year with a wave of kills!"

Hall's expression darkened.

His initial Pokémon was Chimchar, and now it had evolved into Infernape, which was not bad.

However, Infernape's Fire and Fighting attributes were perfectly suppressed by the Water and Flying-type Gyarados.

"Who would have thought that you are the real mine2." He shook his head.

"Thanks to Instructor Ai."

Blaze was very serious.

"No one knows how difficult it is to raise a Magikarp into a Gyarados, and the fact that I was able to raise Big Stormy to Evolution before the start of the school year was thanks to a few tricks Instructor Ai taught me about breeding Pokémon, otherwise, I would have had no choice but to try to raise a Gyarados on my own."

Blaze felt pure gratitude and admiration for Aisha.

At first, Blaze was probably just interested in Aisha, who also chose the weak Caterpie as his first Pokémon.

However, after receiving a favor from him for no apparent reason, and relying on that favor to gradually climb up the ranks and obtain countless benefits that should not have belonged to him, Blaze, who knew how to return the favor, regarded Aisha as his greatest benefactor.

"It's just a small matter."

Instructor Ai laughed and said, "It's all in the hands of the people, skill is one thing, and you being able to cultivate Magikarp is another."

"Thank you, Instructor Ai."

As the two of them talked happily, the four remaining people at the table couldn't help but look at each other.

They had the same feeling.

They were clearly the same age as Aisha, and Aisha was even the youngest of the six, but they couldn't help but lower their stance and subconsciously treat Aisha as if he were the superior one when they were facing him.

This...

This is undoubtedly because Aisha's body has appeared the temperament of a truly strong person, every word and action has an unusual guiding force.

In less than a year, he had completely left the level of ordinary people, and had reached a height that they could not even easily look up to.

Traveling, can't it be that effective - the four of us outside of Blaze thought together.

Everyone's mind was alive.

"It has to be Instructor Ai." Blaze interrupted their thoughts at that moment.

"To be in the favor to win the Indigo Plateau Conference after only one year of travel, only two Kanto champions, Red and Blue, have ever had that honor in history."

The words woke up the man in the dream.

Hearing Blaze's words, the other four suddenly realized that they had been wrong.

It wasn't that traveling made people stronger, but that Aisha himself was strong.

Aisha wasn't on the same level as them...

Even if they were to join the traveling school, it would be impossible for them to catch up with Aisha's strength.

"Aye."

The four of them sighed together.

People are so scary when compared to others.

No wonder Blaze never took Aisha as a target, he was the one who saw it most clearly among the five of them.

It's no wonder he's the fastest to get stronger...

"Speaking of which, there's a rumor going around Dayan that Instructor Ai is one of the next Elite Four." Diggersby's trainer spoke of Dayan's unique gossip, saying: "During this time, the frequency of Dayan's old man's attendance at events and missions is getting lower and lower, and people are speculating that he's getting ready to step down, that... After the position of the Elite Four has been vacated, there will be someone to fill it. Whether it is strength or reputation, within the Dayan trainers nowadays, the one who is most suitable to take over as the new Elite Four is indeed Instructor Ai."

"But Instructor Ai isn't a trainer who specializes in a single Pokémon attribute, so it's a bit difficult."

"Indeed."

Watching them talk about the Elite Four, Aisha just smiled without saying anything.

"Speaking of which, our Dayan's champion seems to be a single-attribute Pokémon specialist trainer, right?" Holding his face, Aisha asked, intentionally or unintentionally.

"Ah, indeed."

Hall froze for a moment, and said, "The champion is a Dragon-type specialist."

"Oh."

Aisha answered with a deep meaning, revealing a smiley expression.

Isn't this a coincidence?

There were no multi-attribute trainers as the Elite Four, but... There are many champions with multiple attribute trainers.

One of the Elite Four is vacant, so he can kick the original champion out to become an Elite Four?

It just so happens that this champion is also a single attribute Pokémon specialist.

His Azumarill also has a long term mission as a "Dragon Slaying Warrior".

Perfect...

...

At 4:00 p.m., the battle for the Rock Field will begin.

The Indigo Plateau Conference is a week long event.

The first four rounds of qualifiers will be held in rapid succession this afternoon and tomorrow morning.

After that, the winners of the four rounds will become the victors, and on the third day, the top eight will compete.

Starting with the final eight, the format will change from three-on-three to six-on-six.

At that time, the pace of the matches will become longer and longer, and the physical and mental pressure on the trainers will be even greater.

At that time, each participant will have only one match per day.

After the finals on the sixth day, the second and third place winners will compete the following day... It's just seven days. It's a full schedule. It's perfect.

"Reasonable."

Rubbing his Poké ball, Instructor Ai made a clear calculation of the schedule, and walked out of the contestant's lane.

"Instructor Ai, go for it!"

"I'm Instructor Ai's dog, we're all Instructor Ai's dogs!"

"Instructor Ai don't worry about flying, the Ai family army will always be with us!"

The stands are still filled with cheers from the dog trio.

Oh, now they won't let Instructor Ai fly on his own when the wind is blowing.

That's a good thing.

"Hey."

After blocking out the cheering in his ears, Aisha shook his head and looked at his opponent.

In this game, the trainer on the opposite side was a Super Nerd who looked very smart, with a pair of black-rimmed glasses on the bridge of his nose.

"Let's start the match!"

At the referee's command, Aisha and the other Pokémon trainer threw their Pokémon balls together.

Instructor Ai's side, of course, was the cute and cuddly Ralts, which had been promised to be the home of the first day's battle.

The Pokémon released by the other team was a bit unexpected.

"Ah..."

A roar of unknown significance emanated from its rotting mouthpiece, and a huge spread of stinking mud that had turned colorful as if it had been chemically contaminated appeared on top of the rock field, its soft and diluted body resembling that of a living creature with a set of hideous features and a pair of arms, and its teeth and claws made up of the sharp objects that could be seen on top of the mud body from time to time.

"Ah, what's this?"

"Muk... But it's a different color. What's wrong with it?"

"What a disgusting Pokémon!"

The appearance of this Pokémon caused an uproar in the audience, and everyone was discussing the details of this eye-catching and disgusting Pokémon.

"This is... an Alola Region Muk with different forms and abilities due to its different birth environment?"

In the audience, Gold, who had escaped from Green and Silver and sneaked into the stadium to watch Instructor Ai's battle, recognized this Pokémon.

Beside him, Lt. Surge wrapped his arms around his chest, craned his neck, and said, "You've got some insight, kid."

"This is an Alola Muk, it has an additional Dark attribute on top of the Poison attribute that a normal Muk has."

Lt. Surge glanced at Aisha's Ralts and said, "This Pokémon is probably that man's weapon that was specially used against Instructor Ai's Ralts."

"..." Gold was silent for a while.

"But... This Ralts is clearly Instructor Ai's weakest Pokémon, so if this Pokémon has to be sniped by the other team, is there really any doubt about this battle?"

"..." At those words, Lt. Surge also fell silent.

He narrowed his eyes and looked at Instructor Ai, but saw that there was no trace of panic on Instructor Ai's face, except for a fleeting moment of surprise.

"Hah."

Lt. Surge sighed.

The other participants of this Indigo Plateau Conference were unlucky to have met such a tough guy who only blew up the fish pond.

"It's okay... at least he didn't go on by himself..."

Gold: "Huh?"

In the ring, Super Nerd looks at Instructor Ai and Ralts with a smug look on his face.

Lt. Surge was right, this Alola Muk was the Pokémon he had prepared to use against Ralts.

The combination of Dark and Poison was a perfect match for Ralts' Psychic and Fairy.

But... That's just for normal Ralts.

Apparently, this Super Nerd didn't realize the severity of the problem.

"Muk, Minimize!"

He gave an obscene command.

Aisha: "?"

Instructor Ai watched with a bewildered expression as Alola Muk across from him shrunk its size, and his mood was a bit subtle.

Unsurprisingly, the Minimize tactic was the tactic that he had introduced.

But now it was actually being used against him... It's a wonderful feeling.

"You can't use that against me!"

Aisha shook his head and gave a command to counter Minimize, saying, "Ralts, Disable!"

"Ru~"

'Roger that!'

Ralts' offense was faster, more accurate, and more vicious.

Disable blocked Alola Muk's Minimize move, and even though it increased his evasion rate by a bit, it didn't determine the outcome of the battle.

Ralts also has a move that enhances its hitbox, but unfortunately, his opponent's Alola Muk is an Dark-type Pokémon that is immune to Psychic-type Moves.

"Dazzling Gleam, blast it away!"

"Ruu!"

'Dazzling Gleam!'

After Disable, the Ralts attacked without hesitation under Aisha's command.

"Damn it, Muk used Shadow Sneak!"

"Ahh..."

Muk looked dumbfounded, but in reality, it was very fast.

It turned into a shadow, and quickly arrived in front of Ralts.

Although it resisted Ralts' Dazzling Gleam head-on, Shadow Sneak also hit his opponent's body.

"Ru!"

'Ouch!'

Ralts took a step back in pain.

This was the first time it had been hurt at the Indigo Plateau Conference.

"Teleport."

"Ru!"

'Teleport!'

After hearing Aisha's voice, Ralts used a move without looking up.

It disappeared into thin air, and Muk's poisonous hand pierced through and hit the ground the next moment.

"Do it again, Dazzling Gleam!"

"Muk, find its location, Knock Off!" the Super Nerd ordered, following Aisha's instructions closely.

"Ahh..."

Muk turned its head violently and lunged towards Ralts, who was not far behind it, its raised palm wrapped in Dark-type energy.

"Ru!"

'Disgusting!'

Looking at Alola Muk, whose mouth grew wide as it lunged towards it, Ralts fiercely increased its output.

The sudden burst of light sent Alola Muk flying and slammed into a rising hill.

"Ahh..." Alola Muk screamed and flowed to the ground.

"Finish it off."

Aisha smiled and gave the order for the kill, saying, "Mystical Fire!"

The filth was to be scorched with fire.

"Ru!"

'Explosive Magic!'

Ralts raised its small hand and as if by magic summoned a ball of flame in front of it .

"Muk, Gunk Shot!"

Seeing the powerful Mystical Fire, Super Nerd finally panicked and hurriedly commanded Muk to counterattack.

Muk's initial Minimize was effective after all... let's bet on Mystical Fire miss!

"Aah!"

Alola Muk screamed as it spat out a huge mess of foul-smelling substance.

It causes countless spectators in the front row to put on their pain masks.

Ralts frowned in disgust, and then, Mystical Fire erupted!

"Ru!"

'Fire, purify everything~'

Reciting a chuuni line that it had learned from somewhere, Ralts' Mystical Fire burned Alola Muk's Gunk Shot without a doubt, and landed on its body with great ease.

"Ah!" With a raspy cry, Alola Muk tumbled a few times on top of the rock field.

By the time the flames were extinguished, it had already lost its ability to fight.

"Tsk."

Super Nerd frowned.

He wanted Muk to use Memento at the end and try to disgust Instructor Ai.

Unexpectedly, Ralts' Mystical Fire was so powerful that Muk had no chance to use it.

"Heh~" Instructor Ai sneered when he saw the regret on his face.

He didn't know what Alola Muk's moves were?

He had calculated that Alola Muk's blood level had reached Mystical Fire's kill line, and then ordered the kill.

He didn't give Super Nerd a chance to disgust himself.

"Beautiful magic, even with the unfavorable attributes, Ralts won in style!" The commentator shouted at the top of his lungs.

On the field, Super Nerd retrieved Alola Muk and sent out a Klinklang instead.

Well, that fits his Super Nerd status.

"Klinklang, Substitute!"

"Ralts, Calm Mind."

Super Nerd: "Huh?"

When he heard Aisha's command, he froze, and then showed a chagrined expression.

He had given his opponent a chance to strengthen himself for nothing.

"A beautiful first read, Aisha utilized Klinklang's Substitute perfectly and commanded Ralts to complete the reinforcement!"

Along with the commentator's voice, Aisha and Super Nerd locked eyes.

Aisha let out a small laugh.

He could guess the Klinklang's playstyle right away.

Facing the Ralts who had Mystical Fire, the Klinklang with weak firepower would have to Substitute and then Shift Gear to strengthen it.

In that case, it's not too much to ask for a little reinforcement.

As expected, the next moment, Super Nerd shouted out the name of the move, saying, "Klinklang, Shift Gear!"

"Ralts, use your explosive magic!"

Yes...

Instructor Ai had finally accepted the fact that his little princess was growing up to be a Explosive Magic Launcher.

Even though this fact was very cruel...

However, Instructor Ai didn't know whether to cry or laugh when he saw Ralts' happy face when it "explode".

That's what I mean by "crying laughing".

"Ru!"

'Explosive magic!'

Ralts' expression changed to a serious one.

After undergoing a period of Calm Mind enhancement, Ralts' special attack soared, and the speed of using its psychic power to perform its moves also became much faster.

Soon, a brilliant flame blossomed between the little guy's palms.

"Ru!"

'Explode!'

Ralts hurled the hot ball of flame violently.

"Ka-da!" At that exact moment, Klinklang's main body adjusted its gears, increasing its physical attack and increasing its speed even more.

"Ka..."

Klinklang blocked Substitute in front of his body and met Mystical Fire's attack.

"Boom!"

Ralts' incredibly powerful Mystical Fire killed Klinklang's Substitute without a doubt.

"Good chance!" Staring at Ralts, Super Nerd showed a joyful look on his face.

Ralts had just released his Mystical Fire, and the old power had not yet dissipated and the new power had not yet been born.

On his side, Klinklang had just completed a reinforcement, so it was a good time to attack.

"Klinklang, Gear Grind!"

"Ka..."

As Super Nerd shouted out the name of the tactical move, Klinklang, whose body was glowing with an icy luster, violently rotated its body, and the two huge energy gears flew out with a fierce force in a series of mechanical clashes.

The Gear Grind shot out with great speed.

The Shift Gear's strength to Klinklang was evident.

"Hey!"

Super Nerd revealed an excited smile.

If this Gear Grind had hit Ralts, he wouldn't have been able to catch it even if he had a hundred thousand lives.

"Teleport."

Aisha gave Super Nerd a strange look and gave the command.

With a flash of light, Ralts disappeared into thin air.

Klinklang's two shots of Gear Grind went through the same spot it had been in, hitting the two wigwams in the back and blowing them to smithereens.

"The strength is not bad, but unfortunately, the accuracy is too bad."

Looking at the power of Klinklang's Gear Grind, Instructor Ai shook his head.

After being strengthened by Shift Gear, this move was fast, accurate and ruthless, with the power to kill Pokémon of the same strength in a single hit.

Unfortunately, the problem with Gear Grind's move is that it doesn't have a high hit rate.

This time, it was up against a Pokémon with superpowers that was very good at using Teleport.

"Heh..."

Shaking his head in disbelief, Aisha thought of a description.

It was a psychic's downward strike against a scientist!

"Ralts, Mystical Fire!"

"Ru!"

'Explosive magic!'

Ralts Teleported to the top of the distant hill, and with a wave of its hand, hot flames appeared once again.

Super Nerd, on the other hand, pondered for a second with an ugly expression before shouting out a counterattack command, saying, "Full-force Wild Charge, Klinklang!"

"Ka..."

On top of Klinklang's body, which was rotating like a mechanical part with three gears clenched tightly together, a fierce thunderbolt erupted.

Then, it slammed into the direction of Ralts like a cannonball, hitting the Mystical Fire that Ralts had thrown at it head-on.

"Boom!"

The power of fire and lightning collided together, causing a fierce explosion.

The huge shockwave left a big crater on top of the field of rock, and Klinklang, whose body was wrapped in lightning, actually forced its way out of the vortex of Mystical Fire and crashed into Ralts, who was unable to dodge.

"Ru?"

'What?'

Ralts was careless and didn't check the details of Klinklang's situation, and that's why it took the hit.

However, after Klinklang knocked Ralts away, it landed on the ground with a thud and lost its ability to fight.

"Ru..."

'Ouch...'

Ralts stood up.

Klinklang was able to escape from the range of Mystical Fire with the speed that had increased dramatically after the Shift Gear.

After the Mystical Fire's attack, it should have been defeated, but it forced itself to hit Ralts once, and the attack power of this attack was predictably low.

Still... It still did damage.

"Hmm."

Aisha looked at Ralts with anticipation in his eyes.

In the last game, against Sakura, Ralts had accomplished the feat of 1v3 without any injuries, and had won a beautiful victory.

In this game, the win was just as beautiful, but... Ralts made a lot of mistakes.

If Ralts had put more effort into Mystical Fire, Klinklang wouldn't have been able to break through the flames.

If Ralts had focused more, Klinklang wouldn't have been able to touch it.

Instructor Ai doesn't expect Ralts to win every battle without any injuries - it's impossible, even Ralts' predecessors didn't dare to say that they could win all their opponents' Pokémon without taking a single attack.

However, it's the details that make the difference.

Instructor Ai hoped that Ralts would do its best to avoid the problems that could be avoided.

A little bit of pain isn't a bad thing right now.

It's good to realize your problems and correct them in time.

"Ru..."

'I see...'

On the field, Ralts clenched its small fists, and its eyes became more serious.

It didn't know what Instructor Ai had in mind.

However, it is linked to Instructor Ai's psychic power and can vaguely sense some of Instructor Ai's meaning.

Ralts is not a stupid child, on the contrary, it is very smart.

It was inevitably a little proud of its victory in the Grass Field qualifier.

However, after suffering from pride and carelessness, Ralts immediately realized that something was wrong with it.

Alola Muk's Shadow Sneak was a pre-emptive move, so it was understandable that it couldn't avoid it.

Klinklang's attack was not.

Instructor Ai's command was fine, but its own attitude was the key reason for its injury.

Good.

Now that you've realized the problem, you have to work hard to correct it...

"Ru!"

'Uh-huh!'

Ralts raised its head and gave a smile to Instructor Ai in the back room.

Seeing this, Aisha's smile was a lot more gratifying.

He knew that Ralts realized the problem.

"As expected of a child I took care of."

He couldn't help but sigh.

"Aisha's Ralts has taken down two of Kentai's Pokémon in a row, I wonder what other killer moves Kentai has in store for him?" The commentator dutifully pulled out his loud voice and lifted the audience's mood, he didn't favor one side over the other because of Aisha's good performance and left out the opposite side's Super Nerd, but he found a way to make up for the Super Nerd.

"Let's wait and see!"

"Hey..."

At those words, Super Nerd named Kentai shook his head helplessly.

He didn't have any killer moves to turn the game around.

With his own strength, he would have had no problem surviving the qualifying rounds if nothing went wrong.

He didn't expect to meet such an unreasonable guy as Aisha, who directly commanded a baby Pokémon to kill two of his generals.

"How does this guy breed Pokémon?"

Kentai was a bit stunned.

In the stands, the dog trio cheered even more.

"Instructor Ai, the strongest, Instructor Ai, the best!"

"Ralts is awesome, Ralts is awesome!"

"1v3, we're aiming for 1v3!"

Elli and Hall couldn't help but look at each other as the dog trio came around.

The strength of this Ralts was beyond everyone's expectation.

"Looks like we really chose the wrong target to chase."

"Aye."

The two of them sighed, their eyes filled with despair.

"Eh, don't just stand there!" Blaze shoved two flags into Elli and Hall's hands.

"Follow me and shout!"

After that, the leader of the dog trio waved the flags vigorously, saying, "Instructor Ai, charge!"

"..."

Looking at the silent Hall, Elli squeezed the flag in her hand, and after some mental struggle, she gave up her dignity.

"I'm Instructor Ai's dog!"

Congratulations. Once again, corporate culture is being passed down from one person to another.

Hall: "..."

"Trainer Kentai, please release your Pokémon."

The referee warned Super Nerd, who was hesitant to move.

Super Nerd smiled helplessly and threw his last Poké ball.

"Eek!"

A diminutive Sableye appeared in front of him.

"Oh!" The commentator announced the name of the Pokémon and said, "Kentai's last Pokémon is actually a Sableye from the Hoenn region. As we all know, Sableye is a Pokémon with a lot of variations, and excellent trainers can use Sableye to accomplish countless subtle battles, so I wonder if Kentai can use this Sableye to turn the tables?"

"Meanwhile, how will Aisha and his Ralts cope with the tricky Sableye?"

"Sableye, Disable!"

As soon as Sableye stepped onto the field, Kentei didn't hesitate to give the order.

"Eek!"

Sableye's gem-like eyes glared, and a mysterious power sealed Ralts' body.

Disable sealed its favorite explosive magic.

"Whew." Kentei breathed a sigh of relief.

Ralts' Mystical Fire was too strong.

After blocking this great move, Sableye was not powerless against Ralts!

"Ralts, it doesn't matter, Dazzling Gleam!"

Aisha gave the order to attack with a calm face.

"Ru!"

'Angry!'

Ralts, unhappy that it couldn't play Explosive Magic, used Dazzling Gleam that was fast, accurate, and fierce, hitting the distant Sableye in one fell swoop.

"Eek!"

"Sableye, Night Shade!"

Sableye rolled on the ground a few times, and the shadow underneath it swelled up a few meters in one breath, covering its body like a Susanoo or Gundam, and then attacking Ralts.

"Ru!"

'Too slow!'

This time, without Instructor Ai's command, Ralts left his position with a Teleport, dodging Night Shade's attack.

The spectators in the auditorium unanimously marveled at the power of Pokémon with superpowers.

Not to mention, this Teleport was a tricky move.

With similar strengths, a Psychic-type Pokémon has a huge advantage unless it meets its natural enemy, Dark-type Pokémon.

"Ah..." Rubbing his chin, Lt. Surge looked at Aisha's Ralts with a surprised expression.

"This Ralts' Teleport releases so quickly, and, it's kind of familiar."

"Familiar?"

Gold looked at him with a puzzled expression.

Lt. Surge pondered for a moment, and with a flash of light, he revealed a look of realization.

"I know."

"Knew what?" Gold got anxious, shook his arm, and said, "What, tell me quickly, I'm in a hurry!"

"Take it easy, you take it easy, I know you're in a hurry, but just take it easy for a minute."

Lt. Surge laughed and tormented Gold for a while before telling his discovery, saying: "You know Sabrina, Saffron City Gym Leader, she is a trainer specializing in Psychic-type Pokémon and is also a psychic, this Ralts Teleport is exactly the same as her Psychic-type Pokémon when they use a Teleport!"

"Huh?"

Gold wasn't stupid, and when Lt. Surge said that, he realized what Lt. Surge meant.

"Then, what is the relationship between Instructor Ai and Gym Leader Sabrina?" Instantly, Gold's eyes sparkled with gossip.

The secret technique of breeding Pokémon was a trainer's treasure, and for a Gym Leader, it was the foundation of his career.

The fact that Sabrina was willing to give her secret skill to Instructor Ai was a sign of their relationship.

A man and a woman...

"Hey!"

Gold, who was essentially a little pervert, immediately thought of something exciting.

"Who knows." Lt. Surge spread his hands and said, "If you have the guts, you can ask Sabrina herself... I don't dare to ask anyway."

"Forget it."

After thinking about Sabrina's operation of turning people into puppets, Gold still decidedly wimped out and ended the topic with a sarcastic smile.

When he looked at Instructor Ai on the field again, there was an admiration in his eyes, a sincere admiration.

This was the admiration of a single dog for a lover...

At this moment, Instructor Ai didn't know that he was being choreographed by these two because of Ralts' Teleport.

He commanded Ralts to use his final Dazzling Gleam, and defeated Kentei's Sableye in a magnificent manner.

"This Sableye didn't inherit Metal Burst."

Aisha said in his heart.

If this Sableye had inherited Metal Burst, Ralts would have had some difficulty dealing with it.

But... If it had mastered this move, it would have used it the first time it took down Dazzling Gleam, instead of using Night Shade to dabble in blood.

"Let's congratulate Aisha on another victory!"

The commentator's voice traveled through the microphone to all corners of the staging area.

"Once again, he and his Ralts have given us a magnificent battle of 1v3!"

The crowd erupted.

The second match began, and 80% of the people in the audience were Instructor Ai fans.

They had traveled all the way to Indigo Plateau to see Instructor Ai blow up the fish pond.

Instructor Ai lived up to his reputation by blowing up fish, even with his Pokémon.

If others don't know, Instructor Ai's fans do!

It's only been a month since Instructor Ai got his hands on Ralts, which had two consecutive 1v3.

A baby Pokémon that was only born by a human, and it was able to land this kind of blow against these Indigo Plateau Conference contestants...

So, after Instructor Ai brings out his real main battle Pokémon, what kind of massacre is Indigo Plateau Conference going to stage?

"Instructor Ai, be a man!"

"I have to say, Instructor Ai is still so skillful at blowing up fish ponds."

"I feel that those who are looking forward to the result don't need to come anymore, just wait until the penultimate day to see Instructor Ai's 1v6 on top of the grand final."

Instructor Ai's fans discussed.

Gold and Lt. Surge were listening with a strange look on their faces.

"I admit that Instructor Ai's strength is indeed too strong."

Gold wrapped his arms around his chest and said with a haughty look on his face, "But if I take out the Undifferentiated Wild Battle Mode and ask Instructor Ai for a sparring session, how should he respond?"

Gold revealed a confident smile.

He wasn't bragging.

Gold might not be good at Pokémon battles.

But in the Undifferentiated Wild Battle, Gold was without a doubt the true god of the version!

That's a level of fighting that even Red would have to weigh!

Gold didn't believe that Instructor Ai could even beat him in a wild fight...

"It's decided!" Gold slapped his chest and said, "The next time Instructor Ai goes to Johto, I'll fight him in an Undifferentiated Wild Battle!"

Lt. Surge: "?"

Hearing Gold's words, Lt. Surge's expression was as if he had seen a ghost.

He looked at Gold for half a day, and finally stifled the words, "You, go for it3..."

"Ru..."

'Tired...'

On the field, Ralts was breathing heavily, and had a few more bruises on its body.

Obviously, this game, it was under much more pressure than the previous one.

It was mainly because Kentai's three Pokémon were all targeting it to a certain extent.

"Ru!"

'I'm glad I won.'

Touching its chest, Ralts calmed itself down.

"It's been tough for you."

Aisha entered the field and hugged Ralts.

"Ru..."

'Ouch...'

Ralts' heart overflowed once it was in Instructor Ai's arms.

However, Ralts has always been strong and afraid.

Even though Mr. Mewtwo Y's education was very strict and its training was very high, Ralts did not drop a single step.

Ralts had never shed a single tear.

Not to mention the fact that it won this time...

You can't cry!

"Ru!"

'Won!'

Ralts turned its sadness into joy, clenched its small fists, and flashed a sweet smile towards Instructor Ai.

"Yes~" Aisha very cooperatively stroked Ralts' little head and gave a thumbs up towards it, saying, "Thanks to you!"

"It's almost time."

Aisha glanced at the time displayed on the big screen in the staging hall.

"We'll have a big meal tonight!"

Ralts was overjoyed.

"Ru!"

'Big meal!'

...

As the sun set, the first day of the Indigo Plateau Conference came to an end with the conclusion of the first and second rounds of qualifiers.

The contestants left the Battle Arena one after another, and the spectators also dispersed - after all, only the contestants could enjoy free room and board in Competitor Town, and the empty rooms in Budew Drop Inn were booked up a month ago, so except for a few rich people, the spectators generally had no way to stay in the Indigo Plateau.

"Whew, what a busy day!"

Looking at the large plaza which was gradually filled with people, James, who was looking at the stalls, finally had the time to wipe off his sweat.

"We've had a great day, meow." Meowth jumped out with excitement, holding the account book in its hand.

"We've accomplished a week's worth of turnover in one day, and the next few days will be full of off-task income."

Meowth hugged the account book with a happy face, and said: "Admin will surely praise us meow!"

Yes, Meowth didn't want to be greedy in the face of the extra turnover.

At this moment, all it could think of was, "In order to repay the boss for his kindness, the Meowth Trio must work hard and continue to do their best."

"Ah..."

Exhausted James sat on his butt on the ground, but the smile on his face was happy.

"Suddenly, I feel that the feeling of relying on my own hands and earning money on the ground is really happy~"

"Maybe that's why Team Rocket became Team Rainbow Rocket." Looking at the sunset, Jessie uncharacteristically spoke a poetic sentence.

"Eh?"

"Jessie, what are you talking about?"

"I've asked." Jessie turned her head and said, "A few friends who are in the top told me that the person who implemented the reform of Team Rocket to become Team Rainbow Rocket is Admin Ai."

"And... Once the dark Team Rocket becomes the righteous Team Rainbow Rocket, it'll be a good thing for the Kanto and Johto region without a doubt. Cadre Ai did this for the sake of the people, so in order to repay him for his kindness, we mustn't be lazy!"

"Uh-huh!" James agreed.

"Meow really didn't expect that such a thick-headed Jessie could say such a thing."

"Idiot, I was a nurse major. I'm a good person!"

The trio played around for a while.

Until a familiar voice interrupted them.

"Yo, you three."

Aisha, holding Ralts in his arms, smiled warmly at them before the stall.

"Have you eaten yet?"

He picked up the remaining ramen on the food stand and said, "Would you like to try my handiwork?"

"What a great feeling~" x3

A fragrant scent gradually wafted out of the festival plaza under the setting sun.

"It smells good."

"Admin's really good at this meow!"

"Slurp..."

Instructor Ai, wearing an apron, was busy in front of the stall, while the trio of James, Meowth, and Jessie were like children waiting for an adult to cook, standing next to the small food cart, looking at the busy Instructor Ai with glowing eyes, as well as the noodles and broth that were rolling around in the soup pot.

"Ru~"

'Smells good.'

Ralts stood on top of the stall, looking at Instructor Ai with a look of anticipation.

"I'm sorry Ralts, I can't treat you to a big meal tonight, so I'll just make do with ramen, and we'll go to a restaurant sometime afterward."

Aisha apologized to Ralts who was beside him with a shameful face as he skillfully put in the seasonings and stirred the noodles in the pot.

"Ru!"

'No way!'

Hearing Aisha's words, Ralts hurriedly shook its head.

"Ru~ru!"

'It doesn't matter if it's a big meal... Ramen noodles are what I like to eat...'

This sentence, translated, was "It doesn't matter if it's a big meal, Instructor Ai's cooking is what I like to eat!"

"Ha... that's nice."

Looking at Ralts' cute face hidden under its green bangs, a very sincere smile appeared, and Instructor Ai's heart couldn't help but feel a warm current flow through her.

As expected, Pokémon's feelings are the most sincere feelings...

"Slurp!"

While Aisha was thinking that, the sound of drooling came into his ears quite suddenly.

He turned his head and saw the trio drooling over the soup pot.

"Growl!"

The two man and a cat's stomachs were rumbling with hunger.

"Huh?" Aisha frowned.

"You guys didn't eat?"

"Ah!"

James froze for a moment, smiled awkwardly, and told Aisha the truth, saying, "Because, too, too busy..."

"Meow~ because I thought that if I took the time to work during the meal time, I should be able to finish the scheduled turnover a little bit earlier!"

Meowth also added.

"And..."

Jessie wailed, rubbing her stomach.

"Moreover, in order to purchase goods, we have already... spent it all."

Aisha: "..."

I take it back.

Pokémon aren't the only creatures with sincere feelings, there's also the Rainbow Rocket trio in front of us.

These three guys are real idiots.

What kind of person spends all their money on merchandise?

This...

"Hiss!"

Aisha, who was cooking noodles, thought of a possibility.

Could it be that these three idiots were so desperate because they had set a turnover requirement for themselves?

This...

Instructor Ai took a look at them, and the more he looked at them, the more he got a headache.

Because, these three are the type of people who are capable of doing this kind of thing!

This made Instructor Ai feel a little guilty - even though he was the one who paid for the funds.

"Hey, three idiots."

Instructor Ai sighed and shook his head as he pulled out a large ball of noodles and placed them into the three bowls next to him.

After pouring the soup, Instructor Ai gave a look to Ralts.

Ralts immediately understood, and used its mind power to lift the three bowls in front of the trio.

"Ru, ru!"

'Eat them all, no leftovers!'

"Okay, okay, I'll finish it!"

Meowth, who understood Ralts' words, cried with great emotion and finished the ramen in front of him in one gulp.

"Yummy, yummy meow!"

At the entrance of the ramen, Meowth was struck by lightning.

It was frozen in place, tears running down its cheeks.

James, Jessie: "?"

"Meowth, you're overreacting."

"Yeah, even if it's to please Admin, we can't overact so hard..."

The two of them spat at Meowth and then ate their ramen with chopsticks.

And then...

"What's this?"

"Mom's flavor..."

James and Jessie stood still, their eyes getting moist.

Afterwards, they started to devour the food without a care in the world.

"Delicious!"

"It's great!"

"As expected of Admin, this is the best food I've ever eaten in my life!"

Hearing their praises, Aisha smiled and shook his head, adding another bowl of noodles to each of them.

After two bowls of noodles, the Rainbow Rocket trio touched their rounded tummies and collapsed on their chairs.

Instructor Ai and Ralts then ate.

"Okay, let's eat."

"Ruu."

"Okay.

In the dusk, the setting sun's rays covered Aisha and Ralts with a golden coat of light.

The atmosphere and bond between the trainer and the Pokémon was even better.

"Speaking of which, Admin is really good at breeding Pokémon."

Patting his belly, James sighed with emotion and said, "Although I didn't have time to watch the game today, I took the time to pay attention to the big screen in the celebration square, and I was surprised to see that the Ralts had accomplished two 1v3 battles, and it was clear that those two players were not weak, so it was really awesome."

"Ruu..."

'Of course...'

Hearing James' compliment, Ralts also held its head up with a proud face, its small hands around its waist.

"Oh?"

Instructor Ai noticed more information.

He looked at James and Jessie, and said, "You also collected information about the contestants?"

"Uh-huh."

James spoke his thoughts.

"When Pokémon battle against each other, collecting information about the enemy is also an indispensable part, so I think that after the qualifiers are over, the remaining contestants will definitely spare no effort to collect information about their opponents, and then our opportunity will come, I purposely collected quite a lot of information about the contestants, waiting to sell it out at that time."

"Oh..."

Instructor Ai looked at James with an admiring look and gave him a thumbs up.

"You're the one I've been looking at, you're the one with the business acumen!"

"Eh heh heh heh..."

James scratched his head in embarrassment.

"So give me a copy of all the information."

James: "?"

"Uh." Jessie was confused.

"Admin, are you... Are you studying the other contestants?"

At these words, Jessie and James' expressions both turned strange.

You, the highest-ranking officer of Team Rainbow Rocket, a master tactician who had arrested two Elite Four level trainers, and you were going to study your opponents in a fish fry match... What's there to study?

Fish frying and micromanagement?

What kind of demon are you?

"Ahem!"

Instructor Ai cleared his throat and wore a serious expression as he looked at James and Jessie.

Without blushing or jumping, he started to talk big, saying: "We Dayan have an old saying, "Be careful of the times... and you'll be safe for years to come!"

"I see!"

The speaker doesn't mean it, but the listener does.

After listening to Instructor Ai's brazen words, James and Jessie showed a look of admiration.

"As expected of a cadre, I heard that Dayan also has a saying that 'a lion hunts a rabbit, also uses its full strength', not belittling the opponents because they are weak, but instead treating everyone equally seriously, indeed, this is the mentality of the truly strong, this is the secret of Admin's victory in a hundred battles!"

"If you know yourself and your enemy, you will not be in danger in a hundred battles... Admin is worthy of being an Admin, I get it!"

"Meow~" Meowth dug its head into the stall and rummaged around, then, found a thick kraft paper bag and handed it to Instructor Ai.

"Thanks."

"You're welcome."

Instructor Ai took the bag with the contestants' information, while James gave some information about the popular contestants.

"This time, the favorite to win the championship is naturally you, Admin, but, in addition to you, this Indigo Plateau Conference also has some powerful characters." James reported the names and Pokémon information of these trainers as if he were counting his family's treasures, saying: "Sayo from Ecruteak City in Johto region, her ace Pokémon is a very excellent Espeon, and it is said that she is a dancer from Ecruteak Dance Theater, and she has an exquisite method of breeding and utilizing Eevee, and she also used this Espeon to play a 1v3 crushing game today."

"There's also Sinnoh's Mohira4, an expert in Water-type Pokémon, whose ace Pokémon is Floatzel!"

"It's said that the Bellsprout Tower produced a monk who specializes in Ghost-type Pokémon, that guy is also extraordinary." Meowth added.

"Hmm... I see."

While listening to the trio, Aisha looked over the participants' information with a thoughtful expression.

He knew Sayo.

When Second Generation Mewtwo was in trouble, this Miss dancer was the trainer who traveled through the storm and New Island to reach Second Generation Mewtwo.

Her strength is nothing to sneeze at.

However, the player that Instructor Ai was most concerned about at the Indigo Plateau Conference was Wally, whom he had met once before.

"Uh-huh."

Nodding, Aisha put away the information and handed it back to Meowth.

Meowth was too busy to take it.

There was no record of Wally in this file, probably because the trio had subconsciously overlooked this sick teenager when they were gathering information.

However... Wally's strength is probably no greater than that of Ruby and Sapphire.

If that's the case, he's not afraid.

"Well, is there anything else you want to do?"

Clapping his hands, Instructor Ai stood up.

By now, the sun had already set and the sky was dark.

Aisha wasn't tired, but... It would be good to go back to the Budew Drop Inn early to prepare for tomorrow's battle.

"That!"

James stepped forward excitedly.

"Please, please... Admin to teach us how to cook ramen!"

"Huh?" Hearing his request, Instructor Ai froze for a moment.

"We sell ramen at our stall, and I thought that if we could cook ramen as delicious as Admin... No, even if it's only one-tenth as delicious as Admin's, it's sure to attract more customers!"

"That's right."

"That way, we'll be able to help Admin make more money!"

The trio looked at Aisha with glowing eyes and anticipation, waiting for his response.

Looking at their faces, Instructor Ai shook his head helplessly.

"Okay, I'll teach you."

"But..." He revealed a bad smile and said, "I'm in a hurry at this moment, I'll only demonstrate once, you three watch!"

"Okay, thank you, Admin!"

"I'll definitely learn it meow~"

"Huhuhu, Jessie, I, is but a beautiful cook!"

Along with a burst of laughter, the tantalizing aroma once again wafted out of the soup pot.

...

Competitor Town, Pokémon Center.

After a day of battling, those who had been eliminated and those who had won two matches in a row chose to recuperate their Pokémon's strength here.

The losers gathered together, lamented their mistakes, and promised to fight again next year.

The winners were in high gear, thinking and studying how to handle tomorrow's game...

Ash is one of the winners of the first day.

He beat both of his opponents today, and it wasn't an easy win.

"Yikes, I can't believe you won the first day of the tournament." On the video phone of the Pokémon Center, Professor Oak's figure appeared on the big screen, he laughed and teased Ash, saying, "I thought you were a stupid kid who couldn't even survive the first day's battle."

"Professor, don't joke!"

Ash was a bit depressed as he retorted to Professor Oak's teasing.

He knew that Professor Oak didn't mean any harm to him, rather, Professor Oak was the one who expected him to achieve good results in the Indigo Plateau Conference.

Beside Professor Oak, Ash's mother, Delia, was smiling.

"Go, Ash!"

She clenched her fist to cheer her son, said: "Mom will always be proud of you, even if you lose tomorrow, Ash, mom won't mind you!"

"Mom you're not cheering but hurting me right?" Ash spat out helplessly.

"Hey~"

"Hmph!"

Ash grunted, saying, "I'm preparing to face Battle Instructor Ai at the Indigo Plateau Conference, so how can I possibly lose before I meet him?"

"What?"

At that moment, a frivolous voice broke into everyone's ears.

Gary, who wore his ancestral hedgehog hair, walked from the hall to the communication area.

"Not going to fight me?"

He squeezed himself into Ash's side and smiled as he greeted Professor Oak and Delia on the video.

"Yo, hrandpa and Aunt Delia, good evening!"

"Ah, Gary's here?" Delia very naturally took Gary's words, looked at his side of Ash, said: "Now we have to trouble Gary to take good care of our family's Ash, do not let him run around and can not get up in bed, Ash this child especially like to stay in bed and stay up all night, the competition can not be like this..."

"Ehh!"

Listening to Delia rambling on about her family, Ash interrupted him in a panic.

"Mom, don't say such unnecessary things, I'm not a kid now..."

"Don't worry Auntie, I'll take good care of little brother Ash!"

Gary, on the other hand, shamelessly took over the task of taking care of Ash and became his 'big brother' in his own right.

"Damn you, Gary!"

"Easy, little brother."

Professor Oak coughed as he saw the two boys going at it again.

Gary behaved himself.

Ash: "Tsk!"

"Gary, I watched your game today, not bad."

Professor Oak lightly praised Gary, however, the words turned, said: "However, the qualifying round is only the very beginning of Indigo Plateau Conference, starting from the fifth round, you guys will meet the really powerful opponents, at that time, you two make sure to raise the spirit of twelve points, be careful with it."

"Yeah, I know, grandpa."

Gary nodded.

Ash, on the other hand, looked puzzled and said, "Why, we won't meet any formidable opponents until after the fifth round, it's not like we're breaking through a barrier..."

"Stupid!"

Gary gave Ash a hateful look.

"What did you say?"

"You're such an idiot... The matching mechanism of Indigo Plateau Conference is said to be random, but it's not completely random."

Gary talked about some hidden mechanisms, said: "In order to ensure that the subsequent tournament has enough exciting explosive point, the organizers in any case can not let those who won the championship of the big favorite players in the preliminary qualifiers meet, this is in order to ensure that the subsequent promotion of the players are all have real material and strong trainers, to prevent those who indiscriminately, with the luck of the good rankings, so that the first few rounds of our That's why our first few rounds will be a bit easier."

Gary shook his head.

"But after the qualifiers are over, the fish are pretty much weeded out, and then it's time for the serious, grueling battles."

"Oh..."

Ash looked puzzled.

Then, he gave up thinking.

"Doesn't matter!"

"Anyway, I'm with Pikachu!" Ash looked over his shoulder at Pikachu, and said, "We're not afraid of even Instructor Ai if we show some backbone!"

Pikachu: "..."

Pikachu says 'Don't take me with you when you brag.'

Gary and Professor Oak looked at him and sighed helplessly.

However, it wasn't a bad thing.

With a personality like Ash's, even if he fails, he won't be upset by the setback.

For a trainer, this is a very good character.

"You'd better pray that you don't run into me after the qualifiers are over~"

Gary waved his hand, and walked towards the counter of the Pokémon Center - his Pokémon had already recovered.

Finally, Gary lightly transmitted a sentence, saying, "Otherwise, your trip to the Indigo Plateau Conference will be over!"

"Damn Gary, even if we meet, I will be the one to defeat you!"

Watching the interaction between these two youngsters who have been childhood friends since they were young, Professor Oak and Delia over there also looked at each other with a smile.

"Ash and Gary's relationship is really good."

"As the saying goes, that's how childhood friends are, inspiring each other, chasing each other, progressing and succeeding together~"

Professor Oak stroked his beard and smiled brightly.

He could always see the shadow of Red and Blue in Ash and Gary.

...

As the night wore on, the Indigo Plateau Conference night sky was as clean as water.

The stars filled the clear night sky, and the bright moon gave off a cool light, charming.

The thinly clad Wally walked aimlessly, occasionally looking up at the brilliant night sky.

The Indigo Plateau, unlike other places, seemed close to the sky.

Wally felt that if he reached out his hand, he could touch the stars and the moon in the sky, and touch his dream...

So, what's his dream?

Wally stared up at the sky and froze.

His companions, Sapphire and Ruby, had their own dreams, and had been working towards them.

So... Wally, what's your dream?

"Yes, what?"

Wally asked himself.

He felt empty inside.

A dream of reaching the top of the Indigo Plateau Conference and becoming a champion?

No, it wasn't...

"Uh-huh."

Wally shook his head.

He didn't really care if he could win the Indigo Plateau Conference this time.

As he told Aisha this morning, what he did was to prove to his family that he wasn't a flower that needed to be protected in a greenhouse.

Going out to exercise was to make his family realize that he was not a flower that needed to be protected.

Participating in the Indigo Plateau Conference is also to be recognized by his family...

In the end, being recognized is what Wally desires most.

"Hey."

Shaking his head in frustration, Wally continued to walk on the Indigo Plateau at night.

The evening wind blew, and a trace of coolness climbed up Wally's back.

He was so weak that he sneezed.

"Cough, cough..."

Covering his mouth, Wally couldn't stop coughing.

At this moment, his stomach also made a series of rumbles in response.

Hungry... Because of his health, Wally never had much of an appetite for food.

This made it worse.

"Hey, what's this kid doing out in the middle of the night by himself?"

"Hungry?"

Suddenly, two voices reached Wally's ears and two hands rested on his shoulders.

Feeling the warmth of the hands, Wally smelled the aroma of these two people.

"Uh, ramen?"

Nose twitching, Wally sniffed out the nature of the smell - he was very sensitive to smells.

Wally looked up and saw a blue-haired man and a red-haired woman looking at him with concern.

"You know your stuff."

"Come on, you're hungry, let's get you a bite to eat."

The woman teased Wally with a smile on her face, while the man pulled Wally forward gently.

"Eh, wait, I..."

The two of them ignored Wally and dragged him towards the front.

A small stall caught Wally's eye, along with a familiar and unfamiliar figure.

"James and Meowth are here with the lab rat!"

The human-speaking Meowth pulled out a chair for Wally.

The pretty boy in front of the soup pot then smiled at him and said, "What a coincidence, just in time."

He skillfully multiplied a bowl of ramen, and Ralts brought it to Wally.

"Eat it, while it's hot."

"..." Wally looked at the bowl of noodles, and couldn't help but blur his eyes as he saw her face reflected in the broth.

"Okay!"
