7 Pokémon camp part 2

Owen POV: After introducing our selves to each other me and Cynthia made our way to the cafeteria. I ate together with Cynthia and talked about dreams, ambition and so forth. She is three years older than me, I know that she wasn't supposed to be this young in the anime but I'm not complaining. Anyways after dinner i went to my cabin and fell asleep immediately.

The next day the camp officially started and after breakfast we all listened to a lecture from professor oak. Usually I would find lectures boring but the professor brought live Pokémon with him and gave us live demonstrations of Pokémon moves. He also gave facts about different types of Pokémon and Pokémon evolution. He even brought all three eeveelutions that are currently discovered and let us play with them. I can't wait to see everyone reaction when I show them all new eeveelutions, I thought while petting a vaporeon.

We also had normal camp games but with Pokémon. We also had plenty of time to talk with are friends. I caught up with a few schoolmates that I knew, I wasn't really close with them but we had a good relationship. Me and ash knew each other since we were children since his mom kept bringing him over. We are good friends, sometimes he is annoying and pisses me off but overall he's alright. Just like me he is obsessed with Pokémon and that is what I'm currently talking to him about. "I can't wait till we go on a tour in the forest and I get to see all the Pokémon" a young ash stated energetically. "Neither can I, Im finally going to see all the Pokémon that I've always wanted to see" I replied.

We continued talking some more until it was time for dinner. I sat down with ash and Cynthia also joined us. Introduced her to ash and before we knew it dinner was over and we went to bed. Over the next week I showed off my knowledge to professor oak by answering with extreme details and he looked genuinely impressed since kids at my age usually can't come up with such detailed answers. I hung out with ash and improved my relationship with Cynthia. We're still to young to be thinking about love but we have grown very close to each other. She is very easy to talk to and seems to also be fascinated by Pokémon. She is also pretty air headed and indecisive sometimes. She spend over ten minutes deciding witch flavor of ice cream to get but it was adorable.

Time flew bye and it was finally time for the forest tour. We were ask to divide ourselves into groups of 3, I looked for Cynthia but unfortunately she already had a group along with a brown haired girl who looked familiar to me for some reason. I was put in a group with ash and a friend from my class named Brandon.

The professor told us to follow him and try not to leave your group but these are children and I doubted that things would go without a hitch. In the beginning things were fine and the professor walked us through the forest and we saw a lot of Pokémon like Butterfree, Beedrill, arboks, sandshrew and many more. Then it was time for lunch the professor lead us into a clearing and set up a picnic with the help of a few assistants. Unfortunately a lot of kids wanted to explore the forest and I saw that some of them made plans to sneak of.

I also wanted to go but it would do me no good, we still have half the day left to see the forest but a lot of the kids were very impatient and some decided to sneak out. I saw one girl trying to convince the brown haired girl from Cynthias group to explore the forest and eventually the brown haired girl gave in and they snuck off. Cynthia was helping professor oak set up the mats so I looked for ash but I saw him sneaking of with an excited look on his face. I sighed in my head. Honestly I did not want to go after him so I helped the professor set up the food. Just as I was about to ask him if he could take me on as an assistant we heard a scream. "HELP!, I was in the forest and a bunch of beedrills attacked me and Serena!, I ran away but I don't know where she is" cried a girl while running to the professor.

I recognized her as the girl who convinced that brown haired girl to enter the forest with her. Wait she called that girl Serena. That's were I remembered her from, she was ashes companion in the kalos region. This must be when she and ash met, well at least I know that she is going to be ok. I do t need to save her since ash will already have done that. Sure enough ash later returned with Serena who's leg was bandaged. Of course they got a scolding from the professor but he was more relived that they were alright.
