7 7: Training
Leo raised his head to gaze at the faint sunlight that managed to pierce through the thick cluster of trees in the viridian forest.
"The sun is almost setting"
"Quick, Froakie use pound, and pidgey use big pecks, and then use gust" Leo shouted, a fiery gaze in his eyes.
In front of Froakie and pidgey stood two small caterpie's, they were just mating before Froakie and pidgey had smacked them.
Boom!!
The sound of the collision rang out as both the caterpies were sent flying, without even being able to dodge or counter.
"Froakie and pidgey are both incredibly strong for their level, if they reach a certain level, could they rival legendaries?" Leo thought as pidgey landed on his head and Froakie on his shoulder.

Leo was planning to evolve them both before even proceeding to the first gym, which, looking at their current levels, it wouldn't take long.
"Ok let's continue" he said as he rubbed their heads with a satisfied smile.
"Pika"
A soft but high sound entered Leo's hair, startling him and his Pokémon.
"A pikachu" Leo said with a slight surprise, he knew Pikachu's could be found in this dense forest.
"Froakie go" Leo looked at Froakie. All thought Froakie had a disadvantage, it would be a good training method against future electric type Pokémon opponents.
"Use bubble then use pound" Froakie leaped off immediately before being covered by a bubble.
Sensing froakies intent, pikachu hissed before its tail raised up, thunder circulating over its body.
Froakie rushed towards pikachu before smashing it with a pound.
"Froakie dodge that thunderbolt and use pound again" Leo said.
Even though Froakie had no good watertype abilities yet, it wouldn't be long.
Tchhh...
The thunderbolt flashed past Froakie before slamming into a tree, leaving a charred mark.
Pikachu was confused by that exchange for a second before it was hit by froakies pound.
"Froakie use pound until it faints" Leo shouted once again, seeing as pikachu was about to escape.
"Piiii"
Pidgey shook lightly atop his head, it seemingly wanted to fight the pikachu with Froakie.
"It's ok pidgey, Froakie can handle it"
Boom!!
The sound of electricity rang out as froakies pound was countered by another thunderbolt from pikachu.
"Froakie use your surroundings, it can't match your speed" Leo said after a while, Froakie was extremely fast for its level, and pikachu was no match for its speed, even its reaction would fall behind.
"Frooo" Froakie seemed enlightened as it nodded it's headed, it then leaped at a fast speed towards a tree.
The battleground was surround by many trees.
Pikachu was startle before alerting its senses, Froakie had disappeared within the mix of trees.
Tchhh tchhh
Pikachu raises its strength as it prepares another thunderbolt.
"Now Froakie" Leo shouted, a shadow of Froakie appeared above pikachu.
Tchhh!
Pikachu immediately leaped away before blasting out a thunderbolt.
"Pika?"
Pikachu was shocked, it had only seen froakies tongue leave its mouth at an incredible speed before wrapping around a tree and disappearing, the thunderbolt flashing into the trees.
"NOW, Froakie use pound" Leo said as he noticed froakies position.
Boom!!
Pikachu was immediately smashed by froakies pound before being sent flying.
"Continue, use growl and smash it with another pound" Leo said.
Froakie immediately used growl, lowering pikachu's stats before leaping off into another pound.
Boom!
Another explosion rang out as pikachu was sent flying into a tree before fainting.
"Froakie you won" Leo said as he rushed up to Froakie, Froakie was also excited, it could tell that this pikachu had a way higher level than itself, yet it had won without getting hit thanks to Leo.
Since this was a realistic Pokémon world, Leo knew he could fight stronger Pokémon above his own pokemons level, this would work with the right battle strategy's.
