First Pokémon

As soon as Chris finished saying that he seemed to want to be complemented.

"Is that a lot of space Chris?"

"Yes it is. In fact its probably one of the biggest in the city." Chris said smugly.

"Woah that's cool"

'Urg I hate acting so childlike.' thought John.

After they finished that conversation they both got up and started to walk further into the forest. After about 30 minutes of walking they had encountered more Pokémon such as Beedrill and Metapod. When John use appraisal on them he only found that the Metapod and Beedrill had orange potential. All the rest had red or even brown.

After another round of walking John felt psychic energy about 300 meters away. He sensed around that direction to see what was using psychic energy but couldn't sense what it was. Hoping to go that way John turned towards Chris.

"Hey Chris can we please go that way" John said while pointing to the direction the psychic energy originates from.

"Yeah sure. Why do you want to go that way anyway?"

"I don't know, I just have a feeling that we should go this way."

Sure enough after walking 100 meters, John could sense what was making the psychic energy.' So it was a Ralts! it would be a perfect Pokémon to train my psychic powers with.'

After they were about 20 meters away from the Ralts they stumbled into an opening. From where they were, they were able to see the Ralts being attacked by 2 Ekans. Both of the Ekans seemed to be severely injured from the Ralts but the Ralts wasn't doing that much better either.

The Ralts seems to have been poisoned by the Ekans and looked to be almost out of energy. From the looks of it It is using Teleport, Double team and Psybeam.

'What a great start. It already has a good start to a great moveset.'

"Chris I'm going to catch that Ralts."

"Oh ok. Just let me deal with the 2 Ekans first."

"Ok"

After a short battle were Chris used Spearow to defeat the Ekans, the Ralts then turned towards us and was wary of the newfound intruders.

"You don't need to be afraid Ralts. I just want you to join me on my journey and if you agree I will heal you."

Although the Ralts looked like is was still wary, it decided that it couldn't do anything in this situation against then due to the Spearow and being exhausted. It decided that it would be better to follow this human than to die out here when its life had just begun.

The reason John immediately asked it to join him on his journey is because of its potential.

This is the very first Pokémon John had seen with blue potential. Although he did see some Pokémon with yellow and green potential, they already had Pokémon trainers. The latest one John has seen would be Chris's Butterfree.

After checking out Chris's Butterfree again John then turned back towards the Ralts.

'Would you like to join me on my journey to become the strongest Pokémon trainer Ralts?' John sent into the Ralts mind through his psychic powers.

'Will you truly be able to make me stronger?' sent the young Ralts back through with her own psychic power.

'Of course I can. I just need you to cooperate fully and believe in yourself and me, then we can become the greatest.'

'I will join you on your journey only if what you are saying is true.'

'Then its a deal.' John said through his psychic powers while reaching at his belt for a Pokéball.

As soon as the Pokéball touched the young Ralts head it released a red light which enveloped the Ralts fully. After 3 shakes the Pokéball clicked signifying that the Ralts was captured successfully.

As soon as that was done, John walked up and picked the Pokéball up and acted as if he put it on his belt. What he really did was release the Ralts into his space.
