19 Chapter 19: Enter Team Aqua’s base

Oren and Valarie climb out of a submarine, stepping onto some metal flooring inside an area only reachable by submarine. Oren and Valarie both are followed by their pokémon, Oren's Bonsly, and Valarie's Abra, they begin walking through the base.

{Valarie} 'You sure this place is safe, Oren?'

{Oren} 'Quit being a wimp, Val. It's just Team Aqua's base, abandoned years ago.'

{Valarie} 'Has Team Solar been here before?'

{Oren} 'Yes, way before we joined them.'

{Valarie} 'How do you know?'

{Oren} 'The boss told me.'

{Valarie} 'Oren, you sound like a teachers pet to me..'

{Oren} 'Shut up, Val.'

{Valarie} 'I'm just saying, you seem to know more than probably anyone else apart of Team Solar..wait, do you know who the boss actually is behind that ridiculous mask and disguise he has on?'

{Oren} 'No, nobody does.'

{Valarie} 'Alright, well what the hell are we even doing in this rundown base?'

{Oren} 'Well, we need to find the missing pieces of the meteorite. I located a piece here, right inside Team Aqua's base.'

{Valarie} 'Right, why do we need the missing pieces?'

{Oren} 'To awaken something.'

{Valarie} 'Like?'

{Oren} 'That's secret.'

She sighs.

{Valarie} 'Like everything else..'

Oren rolls his eyes.

{Valarie} 'I saw that!'

{Oren} 'Yeah, because you have eyes in the back of your head..'

{Valarie} 'And your brain is the size of a rock..'

{Oren} 'Well, that's a whole lot bigger than your brain, Val!'

{Valarie} 'No, I'm a lady. Don't you know that ladies are always right?'

{Oren} 'Who says that ridiculous thing?'

{Valarie} 'I do, ok?'

{Oren} 'Fine..'

They soon walk into a room, where a computer sits on a desk, a large but torn banner of the Team Aqua logo behind it. A shattered tv, along with a broken couch.

{Valarie} 'What happened to that poor couch?'

{Oren} 'It's just a couch, Val..'

{Valarie} 'Yeah..but where does someone sit then when they have a broken couch..?'

{Oren} 'The floor...'

{Valarie} 'But, I'm too pretty to get all dirty by sitting on the floor..'

{Oren} 'Can you just be quiet for ten minutes..?'

{Valarie} 'No, it's my job to annoy you, Oren. You know that.'

{Oren} 'Yeah..and you do a good job at it, too..'

{Valarie} 'See..'

{Oren} 'Just look for the damn meteorite shard..'

He begins looking through the filthy room.

{Valarie} 'How about you look for it? You're the one who's eager to find it..'

{Oren} 'You could help, you know..'

{Valarie} 'Naw, you look like you can do it.'

{Oren} 'You're such a big help you know?'

{Valarie} 'I know.' She smiles.

She looks around the rusty old place.

Oren walks around the desk, looking through the drawers. He soon finds a sheet with numbers on it. He looks around, trying to find something.

{Valarie} 'What are you looking for?'

{Oren} 'If you were helping, you'd know.'

{Valarie} 'I am helping, you know that.'

He rolls his eyes, and moves around the room, sliding his hand across the walls, knocking them in case.

{Valarie} 'What are you doing?'

He keeps knocking, soon the knocking sound against the wall changes. He looks at her, raising an eyebrow.

{Valarie} 'Why'd that sound change..?'

He runs his hand against the wall, where the sound had changed.

{Oren} 'Bonsly, Rock Throw now!'

Rocks would form next to Bonsly, shooting at the wall. A small, thin, and wide wooden board breaks in half.

Oren looks at Valarie.

{Oren} 'That's why.' He grabs the two halves, pulling them out. A safe from behind it reveals.

He looks at the sheet of paper with the numbers, putting them into the safe. The safe unlocks, and he pulls the door open. A large dark gray, rocky, shard looking thing lays inside the safe.

{Valarie} 'Is that-'

{Oren} 'The meteorite shard?' He cuts her off. 'Yes it is, Val.'

{Valarie} 'Do we take it back to the boss?'

{Oren} 'Yes..right away.' He grabs a cloth, picking up the shard and placing it safely in an empty bag. 'Now, lets get it to the boss.'
