1 Chapter One : Psycho

Chapter 1

Suddenly, the door started rattling violently as it was being forcefully pried open. "Oh no… she's come…" I whispered to myself regretfully as my body viciously trembled in fear. It was April 23rd 1373 and today was the day of my death all because of the mistake that occured three days ago…

I was nothing but a maid for the high ranking ducal house Von Heimberg, and fairly new because I had only started working there five days prior. The previous maid had apparently gone missing after dressing the first born lady Louise Von Heimberg. She was a vivacious young madam and was peerless in her angelic looks: her crimson hair ; pale milky skin and her beauty spot under her right eye made her appear enchanting but what really made her unparalleled were her shimmering purple eyes. When I had first started working for Lady Louise I originally didn't see her very often but on my fifth day working she began to appear around me much more often and appeared to be light heartedly chatting to one of the fellow maids, Maria (who also so happened to be my best friend). One day I was cleaning the young madam's room when I heard a faint whimper coming from her private office, and this is where everything started to go wrong…

Slowly, I crept towards the office with each step I felt like I seemed to recognise the voice that made the pitiful whimpering noises. Just as I clasped my hand around the office door I heard a loud thud , I was curious so I began to steadily open it. I almost finished opening it when it abruptly opened, Lady Louise popped her head out elegantly giving me a smile and said, "is there something that you need?" I slightly stuttered in my reply, "U-um I heard some unusual noises from this room and just wanted to check if something had happened…" I had begun to fiddle with my fingers, nervous under the watchful eyes of the young madam. "Ooh that! I was just disciplining one of my pets for they had been very naughty recently," she remarked with a perverted smile plastered across her face and her eyes suddenly becoming a crimson red. I shuddered uncontrollably as my eyes began to wander past the madam and into the room. The young madam noticed this and silently glared with hostility asking me, "did you see something?" Yet again I began to stutter for what I saw was skin crawling and made me pray for my life, "N-no! I saw nothing Lady Louise!" I immediately denied it and promptly added, " I have some kitchen duties to do also so I shall leave." I quickly curtsied and left with haste feeling Lady Louise stare daggers into my trembling back. As I left the room I sighed with relief, they didn't realise. She didn't realise that I saw Maria… Maria struggling on the blood stained floor, I saw the blood violently gush out of her… At that moment I felt slightly nauseous and rushed to the servants' toilets.

Two days later I had once again begun to clean the young madam's room, gently dusting the shelves and polishing the ornaments. As I began to polish one of the silver vases' I noticed someone in the reflection. Lady Louise. I could see that her eyes were locked onto me like a venomous snake she slithered towards her prey. Me. I could feel my heart begin to beat rapidly as I caught sight of the rope in her hand, which also appeared to have sharp razor-like thorns that looked like they would be able to slash my tender flesh with ease. I began to try to run away but before I could even take another step she grabbed me by the waist and lifted my chin with her thumb. "It appears that you did see something that day, oh what a pity I was hoping to save you for later," her poisonous words paralysed me as she whispered them sweetly into my ear. With much haste, I pushed her away and began to run for the balcony, fearfully looking over. I realised that jumping off would only be a five metre drop onto soft soft grass and I knew the young madam couldn't follow me because she had to maintain her reputation as a 'perfect lady'. I leaped for the window and dashed towards the gate of ducal estate. As I finally passed through it using the servant exit I made way to an Inn.

And that leads to where I am now. Lady Louise. She found me... It is April 23rd 1373 and today is the day of my death. Death by the hands of Lady Louise Von Heimberg.
