17 Chapter 15

Sydney entered the room, freezing instantly and looking horrified. She screamed, going through her bag in search of her phone. Once she found her phone, she dialed for the police, sobbing that someone had murdered someone else in her room. It took only about five minutes for the police to arrive and guide her out of the house. They placed her under a blanket and calmed her down while they looked for evidence. They found plenty of it since Oliver hadn't bothered to clean up after himself. They picked up the letters and walked down to ask Sydney to read it to them. Her letter went like this

'To Sydney, Nikkis "Friend"'

'You are not to touch or go near my sweet again, she is mine and mine alone. You might be "friends" with her, but I know what you are, a stupid girl that thinks that she can take my beloved girl away from me! If you don't leave and leave quickly too, then I will end you like I did Casey." His writing became sloppy and was harder to read then, but Sydney could make this out, "You will die in the next three days if you do not leave this city.

Sydney was pale and shaking by the end of the letter, and was guided over to a police car so she could be watched. They then brought over Nikki and had her read the letter that Oliver made for her.

"To my sweetest flower, Nikki"

"You truly are too beautiful for words, and shouldn't be around people like Sydney, she's just using you for your beauty. I have watched and watched you so carefully, and realized that you have so many different pretty things about you that I just have to have them for myself! Like the two different scents you have! You smell sweet at night while you're sleeping, and even better when you're awake!" He seemed so excited that he was spilling his feelings to her, and Nikki just looked shaken. "I truly hope you accept my feelings my darling, and if you don't then you will anyway, I'll make sure of it.

Your future husband, Oliver"

Nikki looked at the letter in shock, and handed the letter over to the officer, remembering that a man had been following her and Sydney around for a while. They asked her if she had seen anyone who acted like this, and she nodded, describing him carefully. She was then moved into the same car as Sydney. They sat in silence and shock for a bit, as they saw evidence being placed into a large truck. A policewoman and policeman both got into the car and began to drive to the station, the whole car was dead silent aside from Sydney's occasional sniffle.

Soon, they arrived at the station and were sat down in interrogation rooms, and questioned on anything odd happening recently. They both mentioned that things were going missing for them. Sydney said that she had noticed that her window screens were gone, and Nikki mentioned that her favorite skirt and blouse were missing as well. Soon after, the fingerprint analysis came back, and they went through their records, finding Oliver rather quickly because he had been reported for stalking someone else.

They arrested him and brought him to the station. He spotted the two sitting together. When he saw Nikki, his eyes lit up, yet when he glanced over to Sydney, his lovestruck gaze vanished. What was once a look filled with adoration was now a rage-filled expression with a clenched jaw, flared nostrils, and a reddening face. His handcuffed hands clenched as he screamed out, "You! You dumb bitch! You stole her from me! You fucking stole her you whore!"
