That just means that you will not be able to enjoy your childhood, a simple ice cream for us might be something that she never even tasted or only able to eat once a year.

So Micha still has that kind of mindset, that she won't taste the ice cream again after that one. Because in her mind, it is expensive.

After the two bought ice cream again, they started walking around the beach.

Using this opportunity, Fred told Micha that they might stay overnight here because of something he has to do.

To which Micha happily agreed. In her mind, this is just additional time for her to enjoy at the beach.
