15 "It's My Time To Show Off!"

At the mall, inside a restaurant. Chaos is filling this place as the kobold entered here and wreak havoc.

The chair that was thrown by the kobold is heading towards Fred, it's fast speed was evidence of the immense power that the kobold put into throwing it.

It goes through a straight path, directly to Fred, who is standing there with his eyes close, as if praying to the Gods for mercy. Lol.

With its fast speed, it reached Fred in no time, it came frighteningly close to his head that just a second more and it will kill him.

Loud gasps from the crowd sounded at seeing a new potential casualty just after the kid.

But as the chair was about to hit Fred's head, it suddenly froze midair. And just like the chair, everything and everyone also froze like someone pressed the paused button in life.

It was as if they are doing the statue challenge from the past, no one is moving, even the slightest movement.

All are frozen, except for one.

Fred raised his head, he saw that everything was frozen in place and can't help but marvel at such a sight. He turns to look around, but when he moved his head, he hit something. He turns to look at it and was surprised big time.

"Uwa! What the hell!" he said, as he retreated a few steps back.

He saw the chair that is hanging in the air, with its legs pointed at him like spears ready to pierce through his flesh.

"Was this here since earlier!?" he asked, surprised. But there is no one to answer him as all of the people here are already frozen.

Earlier, he did not notice that he was about to die because of a chair. He was focused on thinking that he forgot about the outside world which is very dangerous.

"I should become more observant! This is just like back in the dungeon... a goblin was able to sneak up to me and hurt me like that. And now this kobold throwing this without me even realizing it. It's a must for me to be vigilant in my surroundings!"

Fred engraved that to his mind. Improvement is inevitable. He shall not allow anyone to speak to him anymore!

Then he looks at that chair and traced the trajectory of where it came from back to the kobold.

He looks at those muscles and shivered, "Won't I already be dead if I did not make a wish and causing everything to be frozen!?"

Fred was scared and angry at the thought of that, that he wanted to go and rush to that monster and beat it up. But he resists the thought even though everything is not moving.

"This will not last that long," he said,

Then just as he said that, suddenly, everything started moving once again. However, the movements are very weird, as things are not moving how it's supposed to it's like... everything is playing on reverse...

The chair hanging in the air started moving. However, instead of continuing its acceleration towards Fred, it began moving backward, back to the kobold.

Even the people, you will notice the strangeness of their movements, some are even walking backward!

Fred just looks at that with wonder as the amazing spectacle play in front of him.

He looks at the clock of the restaurant and saw that the seconds started decreasing instead of increasing.

He kept on watching the clock until it stops which is 2 minutes from before.

Just like the clock that went on a reversal, the surrounding also came back to what it was 2 minutes before.

The kobold just broke the glass window at this moment and all the people are rushing to the exit of the restaurant.

They are once again gathering at that tiny space as they fight for who can leave first.

Fred looks at that, it's like seeing a miracle happen before your eyes. No, not like, a miracle indeed just happen in front of his very eyes!

He knows that the cause of this is the 2 Golden points that he received from the achievement. But. Isn't just the thought of having that sort of power already fantastical!

"It seems like the 2 Golden Points are only able to turn back the time for 2 minutes. Hmm.. 1 minute per point huh."

He said, then he closed his eyes to see the points panel.

The screen that shows his points appeared in front of him. He just scanned it with a look and saw that his points have a drastic jump.

Previously, he only has 5 bronze points and that's all. But now, he got 41 bronze, 14 silver! That is a huge jump! He doesn't even know how to get points but he is still getting it! As for the Gold, well he just used it so it still zero.

The first thought that came to Fred's mind is to upgrade his skill [Physical Strengthening(F)] because he needed it at the moment.

He did not hesitate and immediately upgraded it which costs him 10 Silver Points!

His previously 14 points in Silver, turn into 4 points, not even a minute after he saw it.

Although it is like that, he did not regret it or anything, cause... there is nothing to regret!

As the number on the Silver section decrease, he felt strong power coming inside his body and the illusion of him being able to take down buildings with just a punch appeared again.

Unlike the time that he got a skill, upgrading the skill did not cause light to emit.

He felt it... the power. It's intoxicating.

He opened his eyes again, all of those just happened within a few seconds.

At the moment, the kobold was still just holding the table and in a stance that looks like it is gathering power to throw the table.

A glint flash through Fred's eyes as he looks at the kobold, he thought, 'This time, it will be different, you will not be able to kill anyone this time. And... I am more powerful now.'

After the upgrade of the skill, Fred felt it, he know with just a look that the kobold doesn't stand a chance against him anymore.

He smirk, then he muttered, "It's my time to show off!"
