Void

I know what's coming but I keep on chasing,

It's as if I can take on anything and everything.

Turned out I'm wrong as I always am,

But I wish to live like a shining gem.

An escape from this void is what I hope for,

This loneliness kills me and it's an eyesore.

Wanting to grow is I'm feeling,

Helping myself is just another thing.

When and how should I break out?

Heart might burst with just a scream and shout.

I just need a headstart but where could it be?

Where should I look? In you or in me?

But nevertheless my wish is a dear,

The end of this world of hate and fear.

One day I'll come with an incredible sigh,

That all I'll say is "Thanks" and "Goodbye".
