11 Nightmares

The night sky was ever so blue that night

when these nightmares came I tried to fight.

Nobody was there and I alone in a room of blades,

my skin so pale as if without shades.

I cried out tears of blood in which I bled,

my skin peeled as I began to shed.

The room felt like I was going to burn alive,

but all I wanted was to live and thrive.

The city of all din and strife

concrete marks every part of life.

Careful creatures roam the streets

as their hands grab me and bite my skin like meats.

Again I'm trapped within a box,

six feet under the land of rocks.

I scream and cry but nobody can here

and sets again my dreams of fear.

In all the dreams I have conquered the worst one was true,

is why I feel bereft and blue.

I wait and wait for someone to come,

but alone I stayed and then became numb.
