18 Chapter 18: Jealousy!

Later on, Lilian's father has come back home from his work. As soon as he reached home, he directly hugs her daughter. His face looks worried.

''Dear, are you okay? Does anything happen to you? Are you hurt?'' He said while rummaging through his daughter's body.

''Err...dad, calm down. I'm okay.'' Lilian said while feeling a little shy because Brent was looking at them.

Meanwhile, Brent just smiling. He can tell that both of them are really alike because they always ask too many questions.

''Are you sure?'' He stroke softly her daughter's hair. Lilian just nods.

''Ehem...'' Brent clears his throat.

''Oh, Brent! Thank you for your help. I really appreciate it.''

''You're welcome, Mr. Blake. Anyway, we are neighborhood and she is my junior too. It doesn't matter to me.''

''Yeah, I feel glad to have you, Brent. I hope you can help to look over her on the campus too.''

''Daddy!''

''Oh, sure, Mr.Blake. I will. After all, Lilian is a good girl.

''Yeah, she is. Just sometimes...she is naughty!''

''Dad, I can hear that. Do you doubt about me?''

''Of course not, dear. Well, are you two have dinner yet?''

''Not yet,'' Lilian replied and slowly shook her head.

''Okay, let us eat together. I cook for us. Brent, just have dinner with us.''

''Uhm...I'm sorry, Mr.Blake. I have to go back now. I have a discussion with my friends tonight.''

''Oh, really? It's okay, we can have dinner together next time.''

''Alright, Mr.Blake. So...I go out first.''

''Okay, thank you so much, Brent. See you again.''

''Err...let me send you out,'' Lilian said while headed walking out.

When they walk out together and both of them stop for a while between the gate outside. They were staring at each other for a second.

''Err...Senior? Why are you staring at me like that?''

''Did I? I thought you are the one who is staring at me.''

''Huh?''

He chuckles. ''Okay, I'll go back first. See you tomorrow.''

''Senior, wait!''

''What?''

''Uhm...thank you for tonight.''

''You're welcome.'' He said then turning back and want to walk away but Lilian still calling for him.

''Senior, wait!''

''Yes?''

''Err...Uhm...Did you come to the history club meeting tomorrow?''

He chuckles. ''Of course, I am. After all, I'm the President.''

''Oh, yeah. That's right.'' She gasping and feel embarrassed too.

He slowly comes closer to her and said, ''Is there anything you want to say?''

''Err-uh...No. Nothing. That's all.''

''Sure?''

She nods her head quickly.

''Okay, Bye. See you tomorrow. And...Good Night.''

''Bye...!''

Brent just smirked and he walks away from there and going back to his house. Lilian just replied inside her heart saying, ''Good Night too, Brent!'' She smiling alone there.

But, at the same time...there was someone secretly watching both of them earlier.

The next day morning, I already arrived at the campus early. I just had breakfast with Andrew at the cafeteria. Back then it was just the two of us and Lexi hadn't arrived yet because her class was only in the afternoon.

Today, I only have two classes to attend and later I will have a history club meeting. Actually, I really can't wait for the meeting because I will meet him again today. I just feel excited to think about that.

''Ehem...'' Andrew pretends to clear his throat because he sees Lilian was smiling by herself. He wondering why she looks happy today.

''Hello! Can I talk with Lilian Casey? Hello...?''

''Andrew! What are you doing?''

''I'm talking with another soul, here.''

''What?? Don't you see me sitting with you here?

''Eh? Are you here, Lilian? I thought I'm alone here.'' He teases her. While she gives a sharp glare at him.

''I just saw you smiling yourself beside me and it makes me feel scared. You are never like this, Lilian. Or...did you fall in love with someone??'' Andrew said and laughing.

''Andrew!! YOU!''

All of a sudden, some voices appeared from behind...

''Wow! Who is fall in love?'' Darren said. Behind him is Grey, Stefan, and Brent too! Lilian was startled. Her eyes suddenly met with Brent's eyes! She feels anxious at that time.

''Hey, Good Morning, Seniors! Come here, we just had our breakfast.'' Andrew said

''Where is Lexi? Did just only both of you?'' Grey asks.

''Yes. She will come later because of her class in the evening.'' Andrew replied.

''Oh, I see.''

Then, Darren casually takes his seat on Lilian's right side. Grey takes his seat beside Andrew and both Stefan and Brent take their seat opposite facing them. Lilian just lowering her head and she feels that Brent was staring at her deeply.

''So...who is the one is fall in love just now? We heard Andrew says it. Is that you, Lilian?'' Darren randomly asks. He chuckles and teases her. Lilian gasp.

''Err...No! Not me! He just kidding!''

''Oh yeah? Who is the one smiling with herself all the time earlier?'' Andrew added and both he and Darren burst into laughter.

''No! I'm not,'' Lilian said in anger. She just glares at Darren and Andrew. She just sitting angrily between them. At the same time, she feels blushing.

''Hey, can you two please don't teasing Lilian? Her face already red like a boiling.'' Grey chuckles.

''I think all of you really bad. It's not good to bully a girl like this. Lilian, just ignore them.'' Stefan said.

Meanwhile, Brent just stays silent. He just controls himself to not feel jealous. He actually watching them silently as he sees them easily take a seat beside her. He just feels resentful toward himself because he not that quick-witted about her.

While they having a conversation, suddenly, the yogurt that Lilian eat was fallen down. All the eyes were looking at her. It was hit on her shirt and it was a little wet.

''Lilian, are you okay?'' Darren said. He gives tissue to her.

''Lili! Wait, I help you. Don't move.'' Andrew helps her wipe the stain on her shirt.

Brent just frowning when he saw Andrew casually help her wipe on her shirt.

''Do you need...!'' Brent didn't finish his words when Lilian quickly get up and want to go to the toilet.

''I-I...I go to the toilet first. Andrew, please lend me your sweater. Thanks!'' She hurriedly walks away and went to the toilet.

''Okay, be careful! Call me if you need anything.'' Andrew shouted.

After that, when Lilian has left, all of them directly looking at Andrew. Especially Brent. He just gives him a tense look.

''What??'' Andrew asks in a puzzle.

''Did you have something with Lilian?'' Grey suddenly asks. All of them curious about that and waiting for Andrew's answer.

''Actually...I...we...!''

''I going first. I have a class.'' Brent suddenly cuts his words and he walks away from there with a stern face.

They were silent for a second after Brent left. Stefan just smirked. He knows that Brent was jealous.

''Actually, I and Lilian just really best friends. We don't have that feeling with each other. We really have a long friendship since primary school until now.'' Andrew explained to them.

''But, not with Lexi right? You must have a feeling with Lexi.'' Darren said. He chuckles.

Andrew gasping. He tried to cover his feeling when hearing about that. ''Err...she...she is my best friend too!''

''Really? Then, I have a chance to pursue her!''

''No!''

''Why? You said she is only your best friend. Anyway, Lexi is beautiful too if Lilian didnt want me!'' Darren said jokingly. He just loves to tease him.

''Okay, let me pursue her too!'' Grey added jokingly. They burst into laughter together when they happily teasing Andrew.

Meanwhile, Stefan was sitting there and laughing to see them. Then, he saw Rianna from afar has come into the cafeteria. He saw her was buying some food while holding something heavy in her hands.

He gets up from his seat and slowly walks toward her. He warmly greets her and he helps her take the things she carries. ''Let me help you.''

''Uhm...thank you.''

''It's okay. Just buy your meal first.''

''Oh, okay.''

On the other side, Brent was going to find Lilian. He going to wait for her outside the toilet. He feels worried about her clothes. But, when he thinking about what happened earlier, he feels jealous. He tried to not thinking about that but he didnt knows why his heart feeling disturbing about that.

When Lilian come out of the toilet, she was surprised to see Brent standing in front of there. ''Senior? What are you doing here?''

He was standing there with a stern face. He looks at her then he sees that she is wearing Andrew's sweater. His heart becomes angrier.

''Don't forget the club meeting later!''

''Huh? Oh...okay.''

''One more thing...! Please give me back my sweater!'' After saying that, He just walk away and left her in a puzzle.

''What?? Senior? Senior?!'' Lilian was confused. She didn't understand why he suddenly said that. Did he realize that I still kept his sweater back then? Did he angry because I take his stuff? She thought.

She feels a little sad after he saying like that to her. She didn't expect that he will angry like that. Then, she just walks away and going to attend her class while thinking hard along the way.
