it was the next day after Yo Huiyin's chat with the familiars ended.

She and Gu Ruo along with the Lu siblings that accompanied her decided to stay at the Medical pavilion longer, as Second elder Bo Zingfe suggested.

Today is the day she treats her disability but anxiety flirted with her for the whole night before today, After all she was a scientist not a doctor, She was still unsure if the method she have studied back in her time period will have a dangerous side effect. whenever she thinks about the how The two familiars, Mei Mei and Lingshu, how they were so happy at the thought of her bringing back their freedom and the suffering the previous owner of the body she uses now she became more determined and suppressed her doubt of her capabilities.

as she sat on the bed in the room they've lend to her she focused on the needles as she sterilize them on the lit candle by the table just beside her, Giving in a deep breath of determination she began poking her legs with the needles, Ucupuncture point to another, sweat began to form on her forehead.

the needles were quite hot ad they penetrate her smooth porcelain white skin.

meanwhile outside the close doors of the room she occupies stand worriedly the young master of the Medical pavilion, Zu Sho Jin paced back and forth as he glance at the closed door from time to time. to say he was worried was ununderstatment, he was beyond worried.

in his eyes the woman he have loved had locked herself in the room without coming out or atleast eating the food the servants have brought to the door.

Unfortunately for him, the woman he loved has already passed away. he has gravely mistaken the young girl in the room as his previous lover who died from a long illness.

"Young master please return to your room and rest, your body is still weak and needs proper medication." one of the servants who serve the young master kneeled before him, He was worried, He tried his best to coax his master on resting but the man was stubborn. he was stubbornly inlove and heartbroken

"Shut up! my fiance is in there and I'm worried! can't a man risk being seriously Ill to worry for his future wife?" the man bellowed

"b-but young--"

"Be quiet! my fiance is--"

"dead." the 3rd elder Misho Maru walked slowly towards the furious man, he waved his old wrinkly hands at the servant who immediately bowed and left

"Elder Mishu..." the man squinted his eyes at Elder Mishu "what are you saying?" he approached Elder Mishu and grabbed him by the collar lifting him up a little as fury slowly overwhelm his feelings

"it is time for you to open your eyes and see the reality, Ye Ging'er is dead. she died 5 months ago before you decided to look for a Thousand year Venom leaf in the Beasts woods... and you know this"

"No! that's not true she is alive and in this room! why can't you see that?" before the man was just utterly enraged, now the man's eyes were brimming with tears

"Young Master Zu Sho.. that lady you speak of is Yo Huiyin... not Ye Ging'er" Elder Mishu, slowly reached the mans grip on his robes collar off of him and then placed his hands on Zu Sho Jin's shoulders, slowly the tears in Zu Sho Jin's eyes began falling one by one, The young man closed his eyes and slowly fell to kneel to the ground

he knew Elder Mishu's were true, it was difficult for him to accept... he began imagining someone else as his fiance to fill the void left behind by his deceased lover.

"E-elder Mishu... heavens have taken the only light I had... I-I don't think I can live now that she has passed through the heavens gates..."

"Do not lose hope child, you're a master of the Medical pavilion now. your parents sacrificed their lives for you, don't let their sacrifice go to waste. I'm sure Ye Ging'er wouldn't want you to do the same to her, She'd be gravely saddened."

"I-I..." Zu Sho Jin slowly passed out

"Take young master back to his room." Elder Mishu ordered the servants on standby as he tuck away the silver needle he had in hand

he can only put him to sleep for now, as the lady within the room told them that stress will only weaken his mental stability and force the blood and meridians in his body go insane

which reminds him, he came all the way from the east wing of the pavilion to the west to speak to her about the medication, and also recruit her Into joining the Medical Pavilion as a head Physician. their Medical pavilion wasn't lacking, but a prodigious young girl that surpasses their knowledge should be added to their prestigious Pavilion, even with a disability she was still respectable.

he was about to knock when the doors of the room opened wide, his eyes widened, The lady that she was just about to speak with, the lady she said had a disability of being unable to walk and speak actually stood before him, as if she was always able to walk

"y-you.. h-how..?" he was stunned, It was never in his knowledge, or to anyone's knowledge that a disability like hers could be cured! let alone she was still on a wheelchair not long ago yet here before his naked eyes he sees her stand before him like a proud lion dominating the jungle, only that she was more of a dragon

"I-I'm yet used to.. these but by tom... morrow I can ful-ly recover." her voice was enchanting, even though she stuttered her voice was like those of the emperors entertainers, no, her voice was smooth and pleasant to ears what more if she finally fully recovers and speaks without stuttering

"you've treated you're legs and voice? you truly are a prodigy! such wonderful news!" he was ecstatic, if he can entice her on joining they'd not only be well known not only throughout the kingdom but also to other kingdoms, no more of the tyrant emperor can order them around easily and maybe get a few pointers from her too

"Miss Yo Huiyin, I am truly impressed by such a talented person as yourself! if miss Yo Huiyin would join us--"

"No." flat out, He was rejected flat out on the spot by Yo Huiyin, worry flashed in his eyes, was she already recruited by other Pavilions? no, maybe their pavilion was lacking something she desires?

"Miss Yo there must be something that made you reject our offer, Is there something Miss Yo wants that we can offer for you to join us?"

"it is something that I seek that the Medical pavilion or anyone in this world can give" slowly getting used to speaking she maintained her voice stability as to not stutter, It was a pain in the ass as she would say

Elder Mishu was shocked, What could possibly be something she wants that not anyone can give to her? surely he can make changes and give her what she desires

"if that is what Miss Yo desires Then This elder does not oppose." he felt that opposing to her decision will only bring him and the pavilion their downfall, for some reason he can feel the girl's aura emitting that dangerous feel like it's saying 'Do not press my buttons or I'll smash yours' "Can our pavilion help you on your way to your destined path?"

the girl already have thought of it and immediately responded "A palanquin should be greatly appreciated."

"Is Miss Yo traveling back to the Yo estate?"

"I've decided to travel to Opolice." Opolice.. the land of Beast Tamers, Where most familiars and their contracted masters reside.
