11 - Departing

Infront of the Medical pavilion a palanquin of horse power waited.

Yo Huiyin slowly approaching it with shaky knees, after speaking with the 3rd elder about her plans she immediately requested to depart, She needed to collect more strength and rare medical herbs outside the kingdom.

Gu Ruo sat pitifully on the ground as he stared at Yo Huiyin's back, He was told to stay back at the Medical pavilion as he would be much protected, she also said that her long journey is a path of spikes, bringing him with her would only cause him pain and suffering. the boy refused but was stopped by Lu Su and Lu Luo, They all were happy that their eldest sister had finally been able to walk and speak even with a huge question bubbling in them on how drastic their eldest sister changed from demeanor and personality even her mannerism and sudden knowledge more medicine, they just shook it of as it wasn't important, More so having her to be the person who has such talented skills was enough for them to wash the curiosity in their hearts.

as she reached the palanquin she was helped by the familiars to get in which she allowed them to, after all being stubborn while her legs are still weak was not on the list for her, she'd fail immediately.

as she sat the 2 familiars Mei Mei and Lingshu kneeled infront of her with a way of salute in Yí wèi style placing two fingers sideways on their forehead.

"I... Have something I request both of you... all of you..." everyone around watching her departure attentively waited for her request

The elders, Disciples, the Lu siblings, Gu Ruo and the two familiars were the only once present. The young master was still sound asleep after the 3rd elder pressed his ucupuncture point once again as to make him unconscious until Yo Huiyin has left. they know just how much ruckus their young master have caused if he were to see Yo Huiyin leave, He has yet to waken from his traumatizing experience.

"I've.. only discussed this to 2nd elder and 3rd elder earlier. I won't be coming back for a huge portion of this year... and I wished for The medical pavilion to take in my younger siblings..." she looked at Gu Ruo and the Lu siblings "And I'd... also like for everyone to break... the news that I have died... you can make up a story for me..."

"Don't worry Miss Yo Huiyin! we will take care of them as to show gratitude for saving our Young master" second elder stepped forward with a smile, Altho another part of his heart was also thankful to her for another thing.

first elder was embarrassed to even come out of his courtyard after the incident. 2nd elder was quite pleased, 1st elder was always cocky and bossy and ruined everyones day, now his day was ruined and he had no face to show after fainting that day.

Gu Ruo whose eyes still brimming with tears stood up and tried to run towards Yo Huiyin but was stopped by Lu Luo "Eldest sister! please don't leave me! please don't leave!"

Yo Huiyin smiled, The previous Yo Huiyin was apparently very close to the little kid it was only natural that the kid would react like this.

she gestured Lu Luo to let Gu Ruo come to her which he obliged, Gu Ruo came running towards Yo Huiyin tears in his eyes he stopped infront of her and tears In his eyes began blurring his vision "Eldest sister..."

she reached out her hand and placed it on Gu Ruo's head "Gu Ruo... remember the promise I told you before...? one day you'd be living like other kids... being able to play and not having to worry about anyone beating you up?... I'm doing this to fulfill that.." still struggling to speak, her voice raspy but a hint of that angelic voice

"Eldest sis! if it means you leaving then I'd rather scrub the floors and get a beating! please don't go!" shock filled Yo Huiyin's eyes, this boy... she smiled and hugged the sobbing kid

everyone present was moved to tears, The scene infront of them was heart wrenching indeed. they've heard Rumors of the Yo Family's brutality towards The eldest first miss Yo Huiyin, Who would have thought that Rumors were essentially true

as she embrace the sobbing child she turned her head towards the 2 familiars, After their chat she already made a vow to save them although they told her of the humans greedy cruelty they did not forget to mention the goodness in some of the Humans a Yí wèi is contracted with, 2nd elder was truly harmless and gentle towards them.

hence she trusted to leave them here with their contracted masters for the meantime and to also protect her siblings. even though they weren't related by blood the bond was thicker than blood to them

"I haven't forgotten my promise with you guys, I plan to seek out my strength back and mold this world into a better place and find a way to open the realm portals once again." even though all this was unbelievable to her she had to accept it, the weights of sadness they all have suffered could not possibly lie to her, she has accepted to be their empress, no, their family
