Bright blue sky without any clouds blocking the sun. Children playing around, skating, chatting and laughing with each other. Parents eating ice cream with their family's because a new record has been set. Today, 29 July 2019, a new hottest temperature has been measured: 106℉ or for the Europeans between us, 42℃.

Some people at the moment are thinking about where to go this summer vacation. Others might have it harder and are more inclined to think about the rent that needs to be paid. One thing that is true for everyone is that today is too damm hot.

"When will today be over? " said a manly voice.

"You're almost done, just this last bit to go" said the secretary towards her boss.

"Patricia, really? I still need to go to court for the defence speech" said the lawyer.

"Come on Snow! It's only this case and you can go home towards your tv and watch the new season of Game Of Plagiarism" said the secretary in a stern voice.

"Dam Patrice, don't you want to know what will happen with the..."

"I really don't care about your stupid tv show" interrupted Patricia.

"If I remember correctly that season will only have six episodes, so even I can tell you that the producers are going to rush the story" said Patricia with an irritated expression.

"Patricia what you say doesn't make any sense, the show has lasted for so long and created such a big fanbase. I don't believe that the producers are going to make a flop of such a beautiful story" said boss Snow to Patricia.

"Alright boss, whatever you say... but right now we have more important matters to handle. You need to prepare your defence speech for your client so he doesn't have to jail for this stupid misunderstanding" said Patricia passionately.

"Alright, alright I will prepare" said Snow to Patricia Harley

William Snow, born in one of Florida's hospitals, sadly nothing else is known about the details that happened with his birth. Short after his birth, he got adopted by a couple that couldn't have children of their own. That William was not their biological son didn't lessen their care for him, as they loved him with all they could.

When William was two It become obviously that he wasn't your normal toddler. Not only was he able to talk two different kinds of language pretty fluently, he also was able to understand and read multiple difficult books that his parents on accident left behind.

Getting in a private school shortly after made it so that his qualities improved. When he was four he started learning multiple school subject's but more importantly he learned how to think rational and make decisions with that knowledge.

When one day he came back from school he told his mother about what happened at today. He told her that he happened to stray from the playground and met this guy who told him to come with him. The first thing William did was loudly as possible yelling.

When his mother told him that it's understandable to yell when you're scared and William looked at his mother with an intelligent glint in his eye.

"I didn't scream because I was scared mom, I did it to make him scared" said four year old William.

Child William knows that by yelling loud, that person would be getting scared. William knew that a stranger is not to be trusted and made the most rational decision a child could make. He yelled.

William decided that he wanted to become a lawyer. Why, you might ask? He knew his own qualities lied in his creative and rational way of looking at things.

He knew that for some people a problem would be hard to solve, but for him with enough time it wouldn't be that hard. So he, with his 1590 SAT scores, decided to go to Harvard to become the best lawyer he knew he could become.

Now graduated from Harvard, William got a new case of a man who said he shot himself in the leg. The charge against him was for committing fraud, by shooting himself he was unable to go to an important appointment and because of that multiple millions of dollars investments became nothing more than dirt.

Now William is preparing for his speech, with obvious difficulties...

"It's too hot Patrice get me something to drink pretty please" said William

"Now don't whine, just go into the room and do your speech and you can have all the water you want" said Patricia with a kind smile.

"Sir! The gun is ready!" said a police officer

"Are you really going to use this gun in your speech? Your speech is already powerful enough" said Patricia with a worried voice.

"Don't worry Patrice, nothing is going to happen! Alright I will see you later " said William with a proud face.

"Good luck" muttered Patricia.

Bringing a gun to court, some might say that's stupid, but William thinks that's the solution. With this gun he will able to show the judges that accidently shooting yourself is possible and what is better than a real time demonstration!

Of course there are safety preventions: bulletproof glass in front of the judges, and audience, and last but not least the gun is reloaded with a so called safety bullet, that is a bullet that doesn't hurt (that much) when getting hit by it. At least you won't die after impact.

Now William Snow is ready to show his demonstration were he practised at least a month for. As this is William's first case he eager to show everybody his findings in this case and showing that his client is innocent and truly accidently shot his leg.

"Is the defence ready for its speech?" said the judge with a deep calm voice.

"Yes Your Honour, we are ready" said William with a serious look.

"Judges, today I'm here to defend my client mister Steven Harway from the accusation that my client on accident shot himself. With as purpose to influence the investments by making them non existing and by doing that creating a way to sell his shares in the company"

"Today I'm going to show all of you that shooting yourself on accident is possible and that my client didn't not shoot himself to get out of an important appointment"

William slowly takes the gun out of the briefcase and explains to the ones that don't know of this of its purpose.

"All can calm down, in this briefcase I have a gun with the intention to demonstrate how my client was able to accidently shoot himself in the leg. The bulletproof glass is here for extra safety and the bullet is of course not harmful. I don't want to shoot my leg of as you all understand"

The court becomes silent and everybody can hear each other's breath.

"When my client was taking out the gun he took the gun like this" William holds the gun in a weird position.

"And when my client had drunk a bit too much he was clumsily enough to pull the trigger. This of course led to him accident shooting himself in the leg" said William with a laugh.

William pulled the trigger.

*BAAANNGGG!*

Everybody in the court became shocked. What happened, was the question in everybody's mind. The judges where the first ones to see William lying on the ground with a lot of blood coming out of his leg.

"AAAAHHHHHH F*CK" screamed William.

Now everyone in the court knew what happened, William shot himself....

Immediately after the voice of Patrica could be heard in the room. With a trembling voice she yelled with all air from her longs.

"WILLIAAM!! AMBULANCE PLEASE CALL ONE!"

Police officers that stand guard at the court where the first ones to go to William to stop the blood from coming out of his leg. Sadly that day the last medic went home an hour ago and nobody in the room knew truly what to do. The officers tried to stop the bleeding by pushing hard on the wound, but that didn't help as blood was still flowing out of William's body.

The screaming William didn't know what to do. He did know that he shot himself and he also knew that he was bleeding, but the only thing he did was scream. He couldn't do the thing he was most proud of and that was thinking. The pain become too much and not even a single thought went through his head.

People might have told you that when you die your whole live flashes through your head, but that's is just bullshit. Maybe, just maybe if you don't die when you're in a lot of that happens, but with me I just felt pain.

I, William Snow, 24 year old, born in Florida, raised by a caring family. Others always told myself that I was smart, hell I even told myself that I was smart but after today and don't really know anymore.

But as I said, I didn't see my live flashing through my head. No, I didn't see the light. I'm not religious but I really thought that when you die something "godly" might happen. Now that I think back this might have been better called "otherworldly" because when I died the only thing I heard was [Fei Hong].
