18 Who's the father?

Sky watched as her family members talked about her as if she was not in the room. She sighed. "I told you sist, that I have had two relationships even though I wasn't serious then."

Bree looked up at her sist and said "I thought you were joking and you never talked about him or them...gosh you are soo secretive."

" I didn't mean to keep them a secret, I was scared of bringing them home because I knew you wouldn't accept them, I was very serious with one but he broke my heart....but that's not the point sist." She turned to face her mom.

"Mom i am really sorry and I hope you forgive me for what I have done."

Mrs Victoria looked at her daughter with fear in her eyes..."Stop scaring me Mena...go straight to the point."

Avoiding her mother's eyes, Sky looked down. Clenching her fist she said "Mom I'm pregnant."

Bree was holding a bottle of water in her hand, when she had the news...she dropped the bottle, the water poured, splashing water on everyone. The room was filled with silence as Sky stood awkwardly watching her sister and mom, both of them seemed to be in shock.

Bowing her head she said softly..."Please say something mom, Bree?"

" You didn't consult us when you decided to get pregnant so why do you want us to say something now....am so disappointed in you, How much are you keeping away from us?" Screaming Bree threw a book at Sky.... "Who is the Father?"

" Mrs Victoria spoke after a while " When are you getting married? do you love him?"

"Mom i am sorry, Sky replied her mom.I really wanted to tell you but I knew you wouldn't approve of it, it's through IVF and this is not the first time, remember the trip I took last year, I was pregnant, but I lost it and I travelled out to calm down. Bree I'm sorry she said, you both know marriage is not for me, at least you will have a grandchild mom."

"Unbelievable Mena!" Bree yelled "How could you do this? after everything we've done for you...you want to embarrass this family, you scold Jenna(Troy) for being bad and here you are now, what's the difference between the two of you? do you think it's easy to raise a child alone, i am not pissed because of your pregnancy but am pissed because you hid it from me."

Sky had already prepared herself for their reaction so instead of panicking she replied calmly. " Sist remember I told you that I was gonna do something and that whatever it is you should support me??" Bree looked at her with anger in her eyes..."I thought you were kidding. Is this what you want Mena? look at you...."

"How far along are you?" Mrs V. cut Bree short.

"Three months and a few days mom...Sky said, watching her mom carefully. She could not understand the look on her mother's face. "Well....."Mrs Victoria said and with that she walked out of the room with shaky legs.

After their mother left, Bree looked at her sister and said, "If anything happens to mom...i won't forgive you." And with that she went after her mom.

Sky fell to the ground, crying. She really wants them by her side, they are all she's got...she stood up and walked to her room in a daze, she found her grams there ...who immediately opened her arms wide for Sky.

Crying Sky went into her grams arms. Rubbing her back her grandma said..."It is ok dear, they will come around, don't stress yourself and the baby, now wipe your tears."

Sky fell asleep in her grams arms....when she woke up, she found Tega sleeping on her thigh, she smiled, picked him up and lay him down to rest well, she kissed his cheek...the little lad must know how she's feeling. Sky took her bath, grabbed her handbag and left her mother's house...without saying a word to anyone.
