28 I really need this baby

Sky sat at her desk going through some files when she got a call from Anton. "Hello boss, the meeting went well, it wasn't easy convincing the board to delay the party but we did it."

"It's true they contacted Chiamanda and asked her to be a mole... threatening her with her job, but she hasn't given them anything solid yet and Mr Dokun is becoming really bold, just found out he's working with one of Mr Jay's mistress who wants her daughter in your position."

"Thank you for the report Anton, let's give Chiamanda some time, let's see who she chose at the end, keep an eye on her and continue your work with Mr Jay's baby mamas....we don't want any unexpected drama, it's calm now but very soon, they'll be a storm. let's get all the information we can from them now."

" Remember if Mr Jay's family finds out about my position, they will do anything to remove me. Also, Keep an eye on Dwayne, let's see if he can keep his part of the deal. I don't need him this week."

"Understood boss." Anton said, he was about to end the call when Sky said..."And Anton please is there anyway you can get me bean cake?...I will get bread from the company's bakery and also I want nuts, thank you."

People can be so selfish. Sky thought to herself...among Mr Jay's daughters he was sure one of them wasn't his but despite that he left them with some properties. The girls were nothing to write home about, Kayla and Layla, they were notorious and extravagant, always spending money in different clubs. Travelling out of the country for parties, buying things at exorbitant prices.

Mr Jayden knew he couldn't trust them with his company that's why he chose an outsider instead. Rubbing her tummy she remembered one of the deal she made with Mr Jay.

"I'm sorry Mr Jay, she said, I know I wasn't suppose to get pregnant for real, and even if i wanted too ...i did not do it the way we planned. But I really need this baby and I promise my pregnancy won't stop me from carrying out our plans." Looking at his picture on her desk, she said...."I hope you are in a good place."

She had gone through alot to prepare herself to become a mom, she had even learnt taekwondo, she learnt everything she thought would be needed to protect a child. Her last trip to Dubai was some sort of training for her, she refuse to be the weak girl she was before she met Mr Jay and she want to be a strong parent for her child.

Finishing the work in the files on her desk, Sky opened her laptop to check on her project... remembering what she said to Neto this morning, she hit her forehead with her left palm. Neto was the architect in charge or her project, Their company was the best in the country and she prefer to deal with the boss than an assistant, she has to see him again. She'll have to deal with his subordinates because Neto was a book she didn't want to open.

All her life, she had wanted to be a designer and open a wedding event center where you'll have your wedding planner, caterer, designer, photographer, hair stylist. florist...e.t.c. in one building, they would plan everything concerning your wedding, all you have to do is walk into the building. She needed the board to approve the project because Jaydite was know world wide and if her company can be in affiliation with Jaydite, she'll be recognized.

She also has to start baby shopping soon, she was past the danger period of her pregnancy. She was told not to stress herself in the first three month and take it easy during her pregnancy. With all the things she had to face in the future, she fears for her pregnancy, She don't know what she will do if she loose this baby .
