White flygel

At 5:30 pm a small black car stopped in front of XX Hotel. In The car sat two people. Feng Mian sat in the back in her black performance dress and high heels. The dress was a simple body-hugging long dress that had a cut down from the knees. It wasn't an expensive dress, but when the girl wore it it was as if the dress was a unique highlight piece of some expensive brand worth millions. The girl herself gave off an aura of elegance and luxury. It was like the aura of an empress of the agendt times. Luxurious, but unapproachable. The man in the front seat looked annoyed. He had not worn anything luxurious or expensive.

"We're here. Get out. I'm not gonna have time to pick you up so find your own way home. Don't mess up the company's dress! Even if it isn't expensive it's still the company's property and you'll pay for any damage!" Manager Lee said from the front seat. Mian ignored him and got out of the car. The dress she was wearing made her uncomfortable. She was only a dining pianist, but the dress she wore made it seem like she wanted someone to pick her up. It was tight and showed all the curves in her body. What made her even more uncomfortable was the thought that if any of those CEOs happened to actually pick her up she wouldn't be able to say anything about it. What could she say? They were all rich and she was an unknown performer. The words manager Lee says: "find your own way home." He was basically asking her to sell herself.

As Mian made her way to the hotel a timid looking girl made her way to her.

"Are you the performer?" The girl asked.

"Yes. My name if Feng Mian. Nice to meet you." Mian answered. The timid girl didn't look like a manager. She looked like an elevator lady or a room series helper. Why was she there to welcome her?

"Miss Feng… I'll take you to the performance area. Did you bring your own notes?" The girl asked.

"Yes. I also wanted to ask. Is it possible to remove the song that requires me to sing? I am not a singer and would rather ust play the piano." Mian said. The timid girls face looked a little shocked as she thought for a moment.

"I'm sorry miss mian, but I don't think that that is possible. We would have to get someone else to sing the song and they would be hard on such short notice. We also can't take the song off the list… At least not without the boss' permission, but we can't contact him at the moment." The timid girl said. She looked a little helpless and had a sorry expression.

"Then… It's ok. I will try my best." Mian said. Her voice wasn't that confident and her expression looked a little dull, but the timid girl didn't seem to notice it. The timid girl lead Mian to a big dining area. it had  layers and from every layer you could see to the performing area in the lovest floor. In the middle of the performing area there was a white flygel. The whole dining area was lid with blue lights and had lots of blue and black colors, but that flygel was white. The instrument seemed out of place, but still fit perfectly in the room. The Tables were already filled with people, mostly old men, dining drinking and laughing. The room was filled with voices that didn't stop even when the timid girl introduced Feng Mian to the crowd. Mian wasalready used to this and sat down in front of the piano. She looked at the keyes and closed her eyes. She had 14 pieces to play and then she'd sing the song. She decided that it would be best to leave it last, since she was most afraid of messing it up. She quietly sat there for a few minutes and gained some attention from the crowd, Then she slowly put her fingers on the keyes and started playing.
