4 Engagement? NOT!!!

I called our family's legal team while preparing for the dinner meeting with the Jun family. I already sent them the evidence a while ago, I'm just checking if they're ready. As I got dressed, I heard my Mom call for me.

"Wait a minute, just a few finishing touches." I shouted.

This 'few finishing touches' ended up taking a lot of time, that's why we ended up rushing to the restaurant where the meeting will be held. Thankfully, because the Jun family arrived at the same time, we're not considered late. Both families brought their legal with them, thus a big private room was provided to us. As we sat down, each family facing each other, the tension in the room became stronger. I looked at Wei An, then smirked.

"You should've brought Bo Liang with you, as she's also involved in this." I told Wei An. He froze, he knew I was referring to the girl he was with.

"What are you saying, Fanghuo? My Wei An would never cheat on you. The girl he was with is just a friend." Mrs. Jun told me with a smile.

"Let's discuss the contract." My father said seriously, while looking at our legal team to bring out our copy.

The meeting officially started. The content of the contract was read out.

"If one of the parties breaches the contract, he/she agrees to provide compensation, amounting to $1 000 000, to the other party. Signed..."

I looked at the Jun family, who's faces are now grim. I guess, even with them owning the Jun Company, giving up a million dollars will make a dent in their accounts.

'That's what you get for having a son like that.' I thought while smirking.

"No evidence that a breach of contract was made. Ms. Xiu only assumed that the girl Mr. Jun was with is his mistress." Someone from the Jun's legal team said.

My legal team looked at me, waiting for me to give the signal. I nodded and they showed the Jun family, and their legal team, a video. In the video, a young man and woman can be seen having an intimate session in a hotel hallway. From the camera's angle, only the back of the man is shown but the face of the girl is clear.

"You're not even sure if that's my Wei An. Only the girl's face is seen." Mrs. Jun said.

But, then, in the video, the young man faced the camera, clearly showing the face of Jun Wei An.

"They can't even wait." I said while laughing.

The Jun family glared at Wei An for being an embarrassment to their family.

"We'll let our legal team handle the rest of the matter related to the contract. Tomorrow morning, a press conference will be made to formally announce the termination of the merger between the Xiu Company and Jun Company. Have a good night." My father said while standing up.

The rest of the our family also stood up and left. The Jun family can't do anything, aside from watching us leave. This will be a huge blow to them.

'Engagement?' I thought, 'I guess not.'
