1 Beginning in the end

Year 1XJ01M: Month 1 : Day 1

Planet Pharo C8

The time seems to have stopped. Streets are empty, not a soul could be found. The sun, birds, flowers, even insects are gone. The human race is the only life left on this artificial planet.

"We have done it all" I sigh as those words left my mouth. We have reached the end of our evolution, we have discovered unlimited energy, we have gained eternal youth, we have created Utopia, and even unraveled the mysticism of magic. There is nothing left to be done. We no longer need to worry about starvation as food and water can be easily synthesized. We no longer need to work as everything is automated for us. We no longer fear illness as we have the cure for everything. We can no longer die as we can simply switch our vessels. We have done it all. Even after everything we are still searching for more. All there left is, to wait. Wait for the end of the universe.

Here I am gazing out the window, "When will those fools be satisfied?" muttering to myself as I stare at the people working below. They have been running simulations from the beginning of the universe to the end, again, and again, and again. Searching for something we might have missed, any way we could still improve, still striving for perfection. "There is no more point in this" I whispered as I walk out of the room.

I quickly enter my own quarters, walking towards a spherical device at the size as of a car, "I Asashi, am not like them. I don't dabble in such futile and boring endeavors. The things I do are much more ...exciting" I smirk as I activate my own simulator with glee. The orb lits up as it starts to levitate. I pass forward through the familiar orb, phasing inside the device. I immediately see a white never ending room before me. "View seed set 11" darkness covers everything as soon the I gave the command. After a few seconds, world starts to materialize as light fills the land. Flora starts to emerge from the earth, birds can be heard chirping in the sky, and water fills the gushing river. I feel the vibrations in the air of creatures passing by. Instinctively, these creatures treat me with fear. "It is certainly not a pleasant world to live in, though some of the beings seem to manage." I smiled as I manage to spot lean small creatures that resembles some sort of beaked rodents scurrying away.

With everything sorted I look around one more time as I set upon this world, my world.

"Now to have some fun, shall we" I laugh as I climb the transparent steps as they appear under my feet. I go higher and higher until I enter the sea of clouds. "What should I do this time? Should hide in a temple and provide them with quest? or should I seal myself in someone's ring teaching them on the way? I'll think about that later. First thing first. I should create the character" I ponder as a transparent screen appears in front of me.

A few minutes later, a young man around 17 years is present on the screen, with his old with black, long curly hair neatly coiffured to reveal a chiseled, lived-in face. Big, round blue eyes, set lightly within their sockets. Fair skin delightfully compliments his hair. A scar reaching from just under the left eyebrow , running towards the other eye and ending on his right nostril. "You will be named Li Feng. As for your stats, I'll just randomize it".

I step back and hid my presence and shouted "Let us begin!". The young man now known as Li Feng materialize and falls down. He starts to sweat and breaths heavily as fear and confusion can be seen in his eyes. After getting up he looks around only to see nothing else but the clouds over the horizon, with a sound of sorrow he mutter to himself "I died?". More sweat continue to drip down his forehead as he stare at his own shaking hands.

I try to stop myself from laughing and put the most apologetic expression I could manage "I am sorry. You are not supposed to die yet". He quickly looked at me, surprised at the sudden notice of my majestic presence. He sees me in my purple robes with golden clouds printed "A... are you.... god?" a smile formed upon hearing. "Yes. Due to a mistake you are now dead". He stares at me unbelievably, seemingly trying to remember his final moments 'alive'. "Because of this I will give you another chance at life" I continued. "However I cannot send you back to your world as you are already dead there. I can only send you in a different world. And so you won't die immediately I will grant you a system to help you on your way" He seems speechless at the notion. "Farewell and live well with your new life" I waved my hand to send him away. He struggles to talk as he slowly disappear.

A little boy appear in a town far away. This boy is the same young man from earlier, Li Feng. He still has the same blue eyes and black curly hair, the only difference is the scar on his face is now missing and he seems 10 years younger. He, who is wearing clothing of fading colors clenches his fist and muttered "I won't have any regrets this time. I will live my life to the fullest"

[Welcome to the system user Li Feng!]
