Encounter

"What in the world!?" Jiho exclaimed, looking at the monstrous creature in front of him.

The creature was scary, with weird arms, big horns, and furry skin. Its eyes glowed red, and its claws scraped the ground.

[Encountered Field Boss!]

Jiho understood the situation and he knew that he had to run away from the place as fast as possible. This was the inner part of the forest so no one would encounter this boss for a while.

He could level up and then come to kill this boss and get the first kill as well as the rewards that came by killing a boss.

But he had a better plan...

"Time to play tricks..." He ran away from the inner forest, making sure the monster was not following him anymore.

He stayed hidden in the trees for a while, observing some players who were kill stealing and bullying others.

He was not trying to save anyone, nor act like a hero but he had different plans.

He went to a group 5 players who were kill stealing for a long time. 

"Hello!" He politely spoke to the one who looked like the leader.

"Go away boy, were doing important work!" The group leader was not a bit interested in Jiho.

"I am only here to form a party with you guys..." Jiho spoke.

"Huh!? For what?" The group leader stared at him in a weird manner.

"I encountered a Field Boss... I am low level and can't kill it alone, if you guys form a team with me, you can take the loot as well." Jiho put on a bad act of being gentle but it somehow worked.

"HUH!? Where is it? Tell me!" The group leader pointed his flintlock at Jiho.

"Ahh! Don't shoot, I will tel you..." Jiho acted like he was scared and was weaker than the group.

The other group members also surrounded him. All of them were filled with greed at this point.

"Fast!" The group leader put his finger on the trigger.

"It is in the inner parts of the forest... Now don't kill me!" Jiho pleaded, telling them the location of the boss.

"You better not be lying to us boy!" The group leader glared at him before leaving with his group.

"Yes..!" Jiho shouted, but his face had a wide grin. "Time to hunt~" he followed behind the group. 

His speed was a lot faster than them so he was able to catch up with them, but he kept his presence hidden from them, not wanting to alert them.

The group noticed a giant monster and identified it.

A few pop ups came in front of their eyes, but they feared nothing and looked at the zombie as if it was a gold vault.

"Guys! Attack the monster! It's the field boss!" He commanded his group to attack at once.

He himself took his flintlock out and fired a shot at the zombie, making it lose HP.

*Boom* [-20] 

"Grahhh!!" The zombie went berserk and started a rampage. It came at the group, trying to pierce their flesh with its sharp horns.

*Stab* [-50] the zombie hit a group member who was a swordsman and killed him instantly.

The swordsman got a notification of his death and was angered after reading the message.

[Player Died! -1 level]

The message hurt him like hell, he now had to grind and level up once again. 

He respawned after 10 seconds and found himself in the Village graveyard.

Back in the forest, there were only 4 people left in the group now. The zombie had lost 200 HP by now and was left with 300 HP, but the group was struggling, trying to survive the zombie.

They felt like they had made a mistake, trying to kill the zombie by themselves. 

On the other hand, Jiho was hinding in a tree, he was watching the match like a spectator and was having fun.

He decided to initiate his plan after the zombie only had 100 HP left so he had to do nothing for now and decided to enjoy the battle a little more.

After a few minutes, the zombie was finally brought to 120 HP and the 4 players were all badly injured.

They were barely surviving at 10 to 15 HP.

Jiho finally decided to initiate his plan. He came out of the hiding and use the assasin's cloak.

His body became invisible and the next moment, he stabbed the four players with his dagger, instantly killing them, not even giving them the chance to find out who and what stabbed them.

They a recieved two notifications, [You were killed by player 'Fallen'] and [Your level had decreased by 1!]

These messages bewildered all of them, they were so angry that they quit the game. They were fooled by the player they thought to be weak. 

They were trying to get the first kill but now, they got killed by a player. This was not tolerable to any of them.

"DAMNIT FALLEN!!" The group leader put his headset aside and cursed at Jiho for making a fool out of him.

"I WILL KILL YOU!!!" He screamed in anger.

In the forest, Jiho had a large grin on his face.

[Killed a Level 9 player! Gained 2500 XP!]

[Killed a Level 8 player! Gained 1500 XP!]

[Killed a Level 8 player! Gained 1500 XP!]

[Killed a Level 7 player! Gained 1000 XP!]

[Level Up 9 -> 10!]

He had finally managed to level up. "Killing players gives more XP!" He found it a better way to gain XP than killing monsters and grinding all day.

But then, he noticed his nametag which now became light orange. He opened his interface and pressed the help button.

He found out that the name color change occurrs when a player kills another player. The darker the color, the higher the chances of getting arrested by the guards or not getting to enter a shop.

This worried him and he decided to not do it frequently as this could ruin his game experience in the future.

He then looked at the boss which was still unaware of his presence.

He rushed at the boss and stabbed it will his dagger with full force. 

"GRAHHH!!" The zombie let out a loud scream, it's insides were being twisted by the dagger.

Soon, the zombie's HP dropped to 0 and it fell on the ground.

[REWARDS: 10000 COINS, 10 STAT POINTS, COBALT DAGGER, SHADOW CLOAK]

A few notifications instantly popped up before Jiho. He loooked at the rewards and was tempted by them.

He had gained 12000 coins and 2 pieces of equipment, along with a mystrey gift.

He decided to check all of them one by one as but first, he took cover behind a tree.

He looked at the stats of the Cobalt dagger and the Shadow cloak.

The dagger was like a normal dagger but better and the shadow cloak was just like the assasin's cloak, just that the time of the effect had increased and the cooldown was 2 minutes instead of 1 minute.

He instantly changed his current equipments with the ones he just received as there were obviously better.

He then shifted his gaze at the mystrey gift. He was aware of how it worked as such items were often seen in other games.

He opened the mystrey gift as it glowed brightly.

He inspected the orb of life that he obtained from the mystrey gift and was shocked after seeing its effect.
