/Halloween Story/ "All you had to do was find them-" My lips shuttered in horror, "All you had to do was follow the clues-" I watched the blood drip from under the door. "COME OUT, ALIA!" They yelled from beyond the room; I ran to the portrait- moving it so I could get away through the hidden passages. Immediately I started fumbling on my feet, and I knew they heard me, but I didn't care- I have to survive! I have to go home! "COME HERE! THE GAME IS OVER!" A male growl rumbled through the vents- I was crying in fear, hoping to survive. "He said the way out is through your heart! If you have the spirit- you can win!" The passages echoed my voice. I felt cold air- the fall air! I kicked open the vent, "ALIA!" I jumped to the floor without care- my life is already near death- I have to do anything necessary. I landed into a bush- stabbing a branch in my leg- I got up in a rush, broke the stick, and staggered to the gates. I saw a car- I arrived at the gate and tried to climb up, screaming, but it was useless because of my leg. "HELP! PLEASE! I'M GOING TO DIE!" I cried over and over again until the car stopped for a moment to reveal a teenage girl within a costume. "Nice acting, very convincing! Happy Halloween!" she waved, driving off. I felt a hand on my shoulder, "Gotcha." I turned to see the murderers of the game, "He said all I had to do was win..." I repeated as I fell to the grass, seeing the knives about to kill me.
