1 Awakens

" Entangle them." Art shouts at the top of his voice. As soon as he voices his words, a group of tentacle-like vines move towards a pack of wolves. There are only 3 Wolves in the pack. But the wolves look kind of different, they have crimson red eyes like a bloodthirsty monster, large fangs like that of the sabertooth and their body looks much thinner than normal wolves do. The vines make their way in an incredible speed with wriggling movements. Seeing the vines come their way, every wolf tries to dodge it at an unbelievable speed. However, when all of them dodge the vines one was unable to do so and gets caught by a vine. The wolf struggles to free itself but slowly other vines start to come together and enclose the caught one. It throws its paws here and there, slicing the vines approaching him and bites the one catching it. But all goes to vain when the vines immediately regenerate in a second. Seeing their teammate in danger the remaining two wolves try to assist it but they get stopped by another group of vines. Those wolves try to fend off the all the vines, but all their effort goes to veil when they see their helpless teammate being completely wrapped by those vines. Just as they were distracted upon seeing the last struggling of their teammate. The vines get enough time to catch them too. Just like their fallen mate they to struggle with all their might but soon they too get wrapped inside the vines. Just as the last wolf gets out of vision. Art falls down on his butt and gives a sigh of relief. Beads of sweat roll down his forehead and wiping it off. He thinks himself lucky. He looks in front of him where he sees many small plants on top of each other entangling their vines over the wolves. They are fighting with each other trying to consume more energy from those wolves bodies. It is the first time for Ark, Seeing those plants fight. The surprise is clearly seen all over his face. Amidst all of that, a voice interrupts him. " Congratulations! Host has completed the newbie task of killing the monsters invading your farm." Although he wasn't bad at studying, he chose to continue farming. He immediately dropped out of school which was about 5 K.M away from his home and started devoting himself to farming. Time slowly passed by and he was already 18. One particular day, In the middle of the day, he was weeding the cucumber field when something strange happened. All the plants in the field started to move. He was confused for a moment but as soon as he saw the plants uproot themselves from the ground. He tried to run from the field with his might when unfortunately he tripped on the ground. Frightened art slowly turned around to see how close death is. But he sees a surprising scene, it seemed like all those uprooted plants were bowing down to him. When he was wondering what was happening a sweet feminine voice startles him. Slowly he starts to understand every bit of information. He learns that she was made to be a type of game like which humans used to play and she can also do almost everything that an in-game system would do. The plants were automatically tamed by him because he was the one to grow them. And the maximum number of plants he could tame was 30 which is the exact number as his mental strength and the more mental strength increases his taming capacity would increase. He was also given all details about his monster plants. That was when he saw a skill every one of them had and that is entanglement. After going through everything offered by the system. He was given a task immediately which was to kill the pack of wolf invading his field. And so in order to not get unknown punishment from the system for failing the task, he hardened his heart and decided to do it. As soon as he confronted the wolves he used the skills to see if it was efficient in battle. While maintaining his distance. ----------- " Host is suggested to plant the seed as soon as possible. It only grows during sunlight." The system gives a suggestion. " But what will happen to the seed at night?" Art asks. The system informs him that most of the seeds given by the system mature in less than an hour. So he can rest easy. Following system's suggestion, he plants the seed by digging a small hole in the same barren field where once cucumber plants were growing. He plants the seed and waters it. The system informs him that it will only take 1 minute for it to mature. Art was still not buying it and wanted to see it himself. He keeps on staring on the spot where the seed was planted. Surprisingly a small bud starts to sprout within a few seconds, which slowly starts to grow into a plant. As soon as a minute passes a pea plant uproots itself and bows to him. Art wasn't able to believe his eyes. The seed literally grew within a minute. He saw the pea plant bearing some fruits and out of curiosity, he asks the system. He gets surprised when he finds out that the fruit is a medium through which the pea plant can control other beings. If someone consumes the pea then they will be controlled by the pea plant. It is invalid against him as he is his master. But it works up to the monster who is twice it's own strength which is awesome. The monster he has tamed can also level up just like the cucumber vines. And the more they level up. The stronger they become. So, if the pea plant also becomes stronger it can control stronger monsters. And after all the surprise and amusements. He remembers the system saying the world is mutating. So, in order to look at the condition of the world, he heads home to see some news. He walks for a few moments and reaches a white coloured concrete house which looks decent. Although the village they were mainly focused on farming they used to earn decent money which was also the reason Art chose farming over studying. .....
