14 Chapter 14: Escape to the fallen Kingdome

''Good. Than that is settled! But first I like to request a pair of shoes and a weapon.'' Announces Lith jumping while giving me my gear from beside the sofa. ''What about you Hell? Any weapon request?'' Asks Gaukler the now apeaced ferry. ''I would like to get my armor and sword back. Where have you stashed them Bones?'' Answers Hellena looking happy. ''I have your sword in the showcase in the shop but your armor I have given it to Maria when she left.'' Says Gaukler and leads us all the way to his shop. I can only discripe Gauklers shop as a huge openaire market. We had been brought deeper into the villas vault only to find our self in a big open district sized space full of all kinds of people, small and big shops. The hole market seems to be built underneath the forests flora and fauna because on the sealing you can see the roots of plants creating a gigantic dome over spanning all the shops rooftops by more than ten meters. The space is illuminated by light orange moos rooting it self in between the roots which form a sky full of stars. The mood and feel the market gives off is one of structure, style and securety. ''Master may I be of assistance?'' Asks a Lion Variant submissivly Gaukler not making eye contact with any of us. ''Yes you may Leonard. My Lady will need her sword and a fitting armor after all.'' Answers Gaukler him looking at Helena who still displeased with Odin ignores the hole conversation. ''Lady Hell has returned! I am happy for my Master.''Answers the Variant and leads us through the markets labyrinth of stalls, customers and merchandise. ''If you two see any thing. Say it all prices are negotiable.'' Says Gaukler to me and Lith that already has found her way into a shop selling shoes. I catch her admiring dark blue pumps. ''Want some like that?'' I ask my Lith and she answers by nodding enthusiastically. -Create- I think and create close to identically pumps on Liths feet. ''I love them!'' Exclaims Lith happy before giving me a quick pack on my lips. ''Ass destroys opportunities for deals like nothink.'' Comments Gaukler my actions to Helena who redicules to him. ''At least he doesn't pester her with binding deals.''

After some time we reach the markets center where the biggest building yet resides. In the windows of the building all kinds of rare and exotic things can be seen on display. ''Nice you finaly build a premium store!'' Comments Helena clearly not really aware how much time she and Gaukler had been separated. With a sleek smile Odin commandsLeonard to lead us to the armory and hand out the Angelsedge. The Variant obeys and I finde myself in a vault not very unlike my own in the floating fortress. There are only small differences to be found like the colour of the room, mine is titanium silver where Odins is an amber gold. In th middle of the floor inside a showcase I can see the most exquisit sword ever created. With the single edge and its slightly not straight blade it looks a lot like a katana but the slim fitting crossguard makes it look like a hybrid of a katana and a longsword. Exquistly placed paterns of colours in the steel show its near infinite tempering. It is in essence a simple sword without any expensive jewellery but this simplicity makes it the perfect sword for an elegant women. When the Variant takes it out of its case the blade seems to react to Helenas presence by glowing in a havenly colour. ''Angeledge!''Cryes Helena snatching the sword into her embrace. In the second her fingers touch the sword a pair of white wings shout out of her back. Woman and sword as one paint the picture of a archangel ready for battle. ''I want a weapon too!'' Says Lith next to me mesmerised looking at Helena.

''What type do you want?'' I ask her expecting a rapier or gun.

''I want a baseball bat or a maschin gun. How about giving me both?'' Lith asks with a serious expression shocking all present and even Helena that is awakening from her bliss of getting her sword back. Feeling it to be a joke I ask her. ''A bat and a maschingun?! Seriously?'' ''Jep and it best be a blue ones! I love blue!'' Lith anseres me in a child like manner adoringly. ''As you whish.'' I say thinking -Create bett and gun- and in on my gauntlet I see bat and gun images.

I chose the first gun and bat on the list not really looking to close because both are blue in colour. In the next second I have a bat in my right and a M16 in my left. Giving both to Lith she jumps happily arround like a cute rabbit only to begin posing with both of them like a model. ''Stop posing Lith men will die from heart failure.'' I scold her seeing the lustfull eyes of the Variant. Thanks to an inexplicable reason I don't like other Variants lusting after my girl. ''Come on this all is just a game.'' She says stopping her posing.

...Ace-System Locked...

A rumbling noise suddenly can be heard from above. ''What the fuck is going on?'' I ask Odin who has a fearful look on in his eyes. ''This is not a good sound. I think we are under attack!'' He says and promptly comes one of the domes roots crashing through the vaults sealing nearly hitting me. Through the now open sealing I see a well known side. Hundreds of mages on wyerns come flying down to us letting fire waves and magic rain poor all over the underground market. Seeing this invasion I recreate my weapon loade out and open fire. Thanks to the scope on my M110 I am able to shoot a mage in full flight out of his wyern saddle. To my own astounding I can see Lith and Helena working together. Helena carries Lith up to the wyerns befor dropping her on the monsters body. At that point Lith Uses her bat to hit the beasts head smashing it into pieces before jumping onto the next nearby wyern. At the same time Helena after dropping Lith off starts attacking the nearest enemy, too. Their battle strength undeniable Helena looks more and more like a calm refinde archangel wile Lith looks more like a crazy bloody daemoness. Looking up to the spectacle wile shooting I hear Odin questioning his his Variant servant. ''How the hell did they find us hear?'' ''I don't know but we should ready the defence firmations.'' Suggests Leonard finding Odin nodding approvingly. ''Do just that but I fear we will have to evacuate from here...'' ''Where should we go to?'' I ask Gaukler, quickly reloading my rifle with a full magazine. ''We can't win this war...'' I hear Odin saying looking at his destroyed market under us. The vew is quite similar to the few I had whenn losing my district. Fire, death and the stench of fighting everywhere. I have more than enough time to aim and shoot thanks to Helena and Lith defending the direct surroundings of the building. ''Don't be to depressed. Everything can be rebuilt or grown back.'' I try to comfort Odin. ''You are not a merchant. I gave everybody a safe heaven to trade. Even if rebuild my reputation is gone. Even in case of today's victory the Empire has already won the war long ago.'' Odin says deeply saddened by the view over his market. ''Master everyone is ready. You may active the formations.'' Reports Leonard coming back from somewhere. ''Ok.'' Says Odin and suddenly the cut roots come back to life, sealing the dome. Even the root that crashed into the building raises up to the dome closing the hole the attackers made. In the second before the hole is finally shut I see a strike of light coming into the dome. I aim my scope at the strike and find one of Timbers lakes the drakevariant Gouverneur. Proudly the bastard commands his army the destruction of the market before flying to me and Odin. ''If that isn't the dead guy and the exiled Alliance Elder. Happy that your actions killed your NPCs?!'' The Drake asks us evally smirking. ''If tha isn't the traitor and lapdog of the emperor! Patrick!...'' Greets Odin the Gouverneur and whispers to me. ''...I bet with you that when your girl hits this guys head you can use your powers three times.'' I node to confirm the bet but look at the enemy. ''Why wound you submit to the empires rule? I mean even your beloved good for nothing Councillor Sisi submitted to it!'' Says the drake loude and proud. ''Yea she did and was murdered for it.'' Argues Odin back, the pain of the matter evident in his voice. ''And now she is his Lords Empress. Beloved...'' Wants the drake to say but is interrupted by Lith that hits his head with her bet.

Blood sprees ot but Patrick only touches his uncracked skull to heal his superficial wound. ''What no smashed skull?!...'' Mumbels Lith under her breath while landing next to me and says to me when standing up. ''No biggy I will smash that piggy next time. It's all just a game so no panic!'' Anoying me with her new catch phrase I pat Liths head formulating a course of action. At first I think about smashing the drakes skull like Lith so blatantly tryed but than I think about what Odin said before. ''A girl I whish you luck with your plans but I don't your efforts will bear any desirable fruits. HAHAHAHA... Users can only be killed by other Users and your User is as weak and pathetic as Odin.'' Mockes the drake Liths comment when I have an idear. -Realitystone, Roomstone- I use my gauntlet two consecutive commands in a row in less than a second. The first Realitystone use -Never existed- with the drake as its target comes first in effect by letting him vanish in a blink of a moment. Secondly coming in effect is the Roomstone moving the hole market with all its inhabitants onto the surface leaving the remaining enemys buried where they are. The invasion ends with our side as the clear winner. ''WoW that was powerfull!'' Comments Lith still staying by my side. Now I know what kinde of power I poses as a User and it shocks me deeply. -I am not Richard Hill any more. I'm the silencer.- ''From today onwards call me Silencer.'' I say deep in thought seeing Helena landing next to Odin. ''Great idear buddy!'' Comments Odin while happily hitting my shoulder in a approving way. ''I don't think our victory will last long. The empire knows the markets location and will soon start another attack.'' Says Helena taking note of the near universal destruction of the market. ''No problem I will just rebuild it at another place but I think you are right dear. We should flee into the fallen Kingdome of Yggdrasil and finde our way up to the districts.'' Proposes Gaukler looking at Helena who for the first time smiles at him. ''That would be for the best. I realy want to see Maria again.'' Says Helena hugging Gaukler. ''I say we separate and meet each other at the world tree before going up. That way we can sneak arround the empires detection and regroup our selfes and strike back.'' I propose and get an unanimous approval from every one.

Before separating Gaukler stores the market, the villa and all inhabitants inside his spartialworld-storagering that he keeps on the middle finger of his right hand. ''Just a little artifact I found in the ruins of the Yggdrasil. You better look out for treasures when going to the world tree. You never know what you my finde.'' Recommends Gaukler when using his ring. Lith and I also store up on food and water before saying goodbye to our friends for the forsee able future. Now out side of combat I activate the Roomstone and flee with Lith into the fallen kingdome...
