11 Chapter 11: The art the deal

After laying Lith into the coffin in eye Odin in a new light. -If you hurt her I will...'' My face turns pale and I can't seem to end my thought. Odin must have seen my face change colour and happy says: ''Haha. You wanted to think about attacking me. Not being able to form that thought is part of my power. Don't make deals with me you don't want to see fulfilled.'' -Asshole.- I think but ask. ''So what do whe need to revive them?''

''It is relativel as I already told you we need a User with a time related ability. I know one, his name is Hermes but that fucker is deeply allayed with Timber and part of the Empire. He will never willingly act aginst Timber. They konw my ugly face up there but I don't think they know yours that mutch. So I have a business opportunity for you here. My ability power is that my deals are always fulfilled if one part of the deal is come to be.''

-Fucker how can I trust you.-I curse and say. ''Before I make any deal with you I want to know how your power actually works.''

With abig smile on his face Odin answers. ''Ok. Deal. I tell you and you make a deal with me. So let me tell you the general gist of my power on the example of our fist meeting. The exact wording of our deal was ' You will be healthy again and as payment for me you can never act against me or my people in neither intent nore action'. I guess you didn't notice but I gave you a healing serum from a friend at that time. So you could say that the part of the deal about 'you beeing healthy again' was fulfilled as a result the other part of the deal came into affect. You infect will never be able to act against be it intent or action. Aren't I great?''

''Can't we directly make a deal that directly revives your Hell and my Lith?''

''That's not how my power works. Freewill brother. I can only make deals with people directly also Hell is to be considered a part of me so how am I supposed to make a deal with my self?!''

-I don't believe any part of that explanation. That bastard must know that there is the possibility of unintended deal effects. Something for an example you buy ice cream and get the ice cream cone regardless of the fact that you only pay for the ice cream.-

''Okey when that doesn't work please tell me how a User with a time related ability is supposed to revive the dead?'' I ask dummly still trying to find out Odins ability limitations.

-His ability is similar in power to my Acestones, so how could it not have a similarly big limitation like not being ust in combat?!-

''Now you really let me down. Never heard of timereversal? The ultimate repair ability use??'' Odin mocking my intellect.

''Ah ok. But how do you plan on getting a User with an ability like that?''

''Easy you go up to the empire make a couple of deals for me and trick Hermes into reviving Hell. And thanks to a deal the two of us will make, we can revive Hell and your Lith. Isn't that a plan?'' ''Sounds about right but I may point out two big flaw of your plan...'' I say and lifting my left arm and materialising my mostly destroyed silver gauntlet.

''... First Timber has trashed my ability which makes me useless for any ability contest. Second why should I risk reviving Lith with only believing in your ability or your word?''

Shocked and angry Odin eyes my gauntlet and jumps into a hatefull tirade, using all kinds of profanitys, totally ignoring my second point.

''... That pease of shit. Destroying a total of 6 ability manifestations of one User. This is just to cruel. Even in the times of the User Allianz something laike your gauntlet was never seen. I really pity you rising hight up to heaven only to fall deep down into hell. But let me have a closer look at it? Even destroyed it should still have some secrets.'' He say while taking my left arm and scanning intensely every stone for a couple of minutes murmering to himself.

'' Roomstone... totaly destroyed, ... Soulstone... the same, Mindstome... same, ... Realitystone... fuck also trashed, ... Creationstone... dead, ... Timestone... hm... Timestone...'' Odin holds my hand high and holds it into one of the beams of light coming from the rooms sealing.

''What is with that Stone?'' I ask getting a cramp inside my left arme thanks for Odins use of my arm. ''It seams that there is a flicker of power still inside your Timestone. We may be able to revive Hell on our own...''

''Hey. Stop right there. This thing is broken. Broken stuff most often fires backwards. Without some more unabridged informations from you, don't even think about it!'' I withdraw my hand from Gauklers skeletal fingers and pointing my finger at at him. With a deep yarn he evades my eyes and says defensively. ''What do you need to know?''

''Everything from the districts to this place here and oh don't leave out the abilities. I ask my self if they can be actively used in the district wars.''

'' So be it. Let me tell you what I know...''

-Districts are as said flouting citys, but they are able to evolve not only in fighting potential, but also in social and economically aspects. Key technologies fort that to happen are research institutes, golden titanite mining and embrionic elixir brewing. While the first is self explained, golden titanite and embrionic elixir aren't. As Odin explains is the titanite is used to evolve building structures and strengthen the over all defence of a district. In contrast to titanite elixires are used to evolve soldiers and workers, what in turn strengths the offensive of a district. Learning al that I realise what a total moron I have been.

Next Odin tells me a the relation between the districts and this place. First of all the sky I see here is artificial. Huge screens on the underside of the districts simulate a blue sky. As for the clouds I see in this sky they are real because they are created by condesation of sea water. The ecosystem of this planet is fully balanced. As for the resources need to evolve a district they are minded and collect from here and only refined inside the diatricts. Because of the rapid growth of a district Users often have to search for new resource deposits unoccupied by other Users of fight for the existing deposits with other Users. So the typical reason for district wars are resource deposits or refined resources stored inside the districts. The conquered districts themself are normally left to the losing User.

At long last Odin admits that there are ways to unlock the ability use in district wars. These ways vary from User to User and are more difficult the stronger the ability is. For Odin as an example it is only hard beacuse he has to make a billion deals to unlock his ability in battle. In the end he lets me know that I can look up the conditions to evolve my ability by using my gauntlet.-

I summarise Odins hours long explanations in my head thinking:

-Why do I still think he didn't tell me everything he knows?-

''Curiosity satisfied?'' Asks me Odin smirking.

''For the moment. Shell I?'' I ask him back pointing at the corps of the ferry like woman in the glass casket.

''I would appreciate it. Has been years I last heard her laugh..'' Answers Gaukler and I point my gauntlet at her. -Time reverse-

Time begins to revers before our very eyes. Little signs of necrosis vanish from the dead body.

''Boom''

All of a sudden small timevortex was formed but the Timestones infinite power not only revived Helena Fischers dead body it also reconstructed all the other broken Acestones back to their former glory. The vortex expenses and and collapses over and over on it self but never crossing a red line that could encompass more than Helenas Body and the silver gauntlet. Bizarre expressions form on Hells face, fulll of panic, humiliation and pain. Frightened I want to stop but Odin pleads with me. ''Please don't stop. Let her forget how she died. Only one has to remember.'' The self blame and pain are evident in his voice so I follow his plea and revers a bit more until her face shows a lovely smile.
