Jace scanned his surroundings and noticed his three friends sprawled on the ground beside him. They suddenly regained consciousness and started to interrogate each other. A deafening roar cut them off, and they spun around to face a colossal rat that was lunging at them. Jace and his friends had no chance to dodge before Mark felt its teeth sink into his neck. What the fuck did Jace say as he rushed at the rat that was half his 5 foot 6 height? Jace punched the rat in the eye, causing it to roar, before slamming its tail in Jace's stomach, causing him to take a deep gasp. Suddenly, Jace took out his pocket knife, which he usually keeps for protection, and ran toward the large rat, repeatedly stabbing it in the rat's head. Suddenly, the rat stopped moving around as a notification appeared in his retina.

As Jace started to think about moving the screen in front of his retina, it suddenly disappeared. Jace heard someone screaming Mark name, looking to his right. Mark was lying on the ground, surrounded by his two other friends, walking over to him. Mark's eyes looked at the divide of life, and he was not breathing. As all of them understood, Mark was dead.

Jace and his other friends tooked up to mark his dead body before putting him under a tree. After walking for two minutes, he heard screeches coming from ahead. Jace and two of his friends, Jack and Razan, started moving slowly as they took out their pocket knives as they sneaked around in the forest. Then a couple of monsters looked like a fictional monster called a goblin.

Jace activated his skill and teleported in front of the goblin, stabbing it in the neck and killing it.

Jace teleported in front of a different goblin and struck it in the neck, destroying its windpipe. Suddenly, a green light flowed through his body.
