7 First Date/First Fight Part 2

"Here we come haha"

Hermes stopped the punch coming from one of the enemies and then evaded the kick coming from the other enemy because his hand was hurting from stopping the first punch. Ashley got a glimpse of what Hermes could do and thought, *I guess he must've practiced some type of fighting before*.

After seeing through two of their attacks, Hermes wanted to hit them with a counter, however he couldn't find an opening, as a result, he stayed on the defensive until they show an opening.

Meanwhile, on the corner of his eye he is trying to look at Ashley fighting the other two guys with her barefist, she was smooth and fast, it was almost like she was floating. He noticed that she had no problems fighting, so he was at ease.

"Hey your fight is with us" villain 1 said as Hermes got pushed back by one of his kicks. Hermes and Ashley got separated.

"Hehehe you better pay attention you weakling if you don't want to die."

*damn these guys pack a punch* Hermes thought as he wiped the blood off his mouth and then he paused and focused on his fight because he couldn't afford to lose in front of Ashley.

His expression changed.

He started walking slowly towards the enemy while cracking his neck and started talking, "Ah, I was hoping you guys were strong but i'm bored of you already, let me end this fast so I can get back to my date."

The enemies got annoyed, "yo this brat sure talks a lot of crap, let's finish him off already so we can go have fun with that girl that hurt our captain."~#1

"let's do it humm"~#2 the enemies drew their weapons. Villain #1 had a big hammer that not the average person can carry, let alone swing. Hermes thought it would be easier to lean towards him and bait him in order to dodge and counter attack, he thought this plan out on the spot since he was confident in his speed. Villain #2 had a weapon that completely complements his teammate, it was a lance of sorts, a skilled person with this weapon can definitely land three hits before anyone can react because of how light it is and longer ranged then the hammer. This is going to be a difficult fight...

You can only see how excited Hermes is if you look closely, even though he is frightened because the odds are against him, this still fills him up with excitement. It is something that only those who love challenges can truly understand.

Hermes is fully focused and maintaining his breathing trying to sharpen his senses as he gets into a fighting stance. They start swinging and as he planned he was about to lean more towards the one with the Hammer by letting him get closer and avoid at the last minute, However, the enemy with the Hammer swung so fast that if he had reacted one tenth of a second later he would have been dead. One swing from him made a big hole on the ground!!! He didnt have time to relax and catch his breath because his teammate came from the side and started swinging his lance at Hermes and he kept dodging and jumping backwards. *huh, I guess I was wrong this guy is not as fast as I thought with the lance, i can easily see through these*

The enemy smirks at Hermes. Before he knew it someone behind him said "youre dead" it was the enemy with the Hammer, *I see so the spear guy was just attacking slower on purpose so he can lure me in. fuck*

What saved Hermes from getting obliterated by the Hammer, was the moment the opponent spoke. This helped Hermes get away in time. However, the shockwave still managed to hurt him even tho it didn't hit him.

*panting, panting* *that was a close call*

"You did it again Don hummm, you be getting too excited." ~Dan

"Hahaha my bad Dan, I gave myself away. Oh well it's more fun when they struggle anyway." ~Don

Hermes gets up and wipes the dust of his clothes as Dan and Don were talking. He looks at them and gets into a fighting stance and thinks, *okay, now I have an idea of how fast the Hammer guy is and according to my intuition the other guy should still be faster*

"hey you dumbasses finally done warming up? come at me for real I'm getting bored."

"Humm, good he still hasn't given up."~Dan

"Dan this little insect is annoying me." Don says as Hermes smirks at them.

The first thought in Hermes' mind is to disrupt their attacks and get one counter in when they lose their synchronization, however this was easier said than done. Their teamwork was nearly perfect. Hermes was breathing hard and being pushed to his limits by their continuous swings and sweeps, he evaded as much as he could until Hermes finally gets knocked out into a corner by one of Don's hammer swings.

PUMMM* Hermes hit the wall so hard that he made a dent in it, it was a cement wall...

"HERRMESS!!" Ashley yelled across the battlefield, however, the other guys didn't give her a chance to go help him and said " you better worry about yourself right now, haha" ~ #3

*I got to stop it. He needs this in order to grow stronger. This is the true test, if he can't beat those guys then he can't make it in the Planet.*

...

"Hahaha look at him, he was all talk" Don continued

*if we would've been a 100% he wouldn't last a minute against either of us. But I got to praise him for lasting this long. Unfortunate for him Don is getting impatient* Dan thought.

"Let me get the last hit humm "~Dan

"noo i want to kill him haha."~Don

"How bout whoever gets his head, the other has to treat later humm." ~Dan

"Sounds like a plan" ~Don

They finished their interaction and got ready to destroy Hermes because they had their fun already. However, they did not move forward because the air around Hermes made them have a second thought.

Ashley smiled and turned back to her opponent and said, "looks like I'll get serious too" She charged at both of her enemies.

Hermes was smirking with blood coming out of his mouth and face. He was against the wall, laying on the ground.

"Why is he smiling haha has he gone mad? Humm" ~Dan

"Well idc but that pisses me off, I don't care anymore I'll treat but you gotta let me kill him." Don said and Dan responded "fat chance".

Ever since he was young, most of Hermes's senses were sharpened more than that of the Average human, however when he focused, his sense of hearing was near a young bat's and because of this he was viewed as a weirdo even by those close to him But trust in this, his exaggerated hearing was not the only reason why he was viewed like that...

Hermes got up from the ground and ran at his enemy. The enemy reacted as such and got into positions to attack, but this time Hermes dodged their attacks like he knew where they were going to come from and went for a counter by shifting his weight and swinging at the one furthest from him who was coming towards that direction with force. However, the enemy evaded right as Hermes was about to land a counter.

"Dammn, I have to be faster" Hermes whispered to himself as he looked as his hand and then at his enemy.

<flashback to what happened…>

*First the lance swing low: fuwshh!!- I am finally able to follow the sound they are making, it's getting clearer the more i fight. Now Slightly evade the Hammer swing by shifting weight to my left side...a lance jab from the right- jump back and finally another big swing from the lance, since last time I back stepped and the hammer guy waited for me so this time... front step to the side.

"Huh??" Don reacts to how Hermes was able to change his movement and see through theirs.

I knew it, that threw him off, his swing is gonna lose precision. I'll just dodge at the last minute and hit him with my left.

<End of flashback of what happened>

Dan thought nervously * this guys potential is scary, he's been conditioning us and dodging in the same pattern this whole time and baited us in this time with the same pattern and switched it last minute, if he was a regular opponent he would've definitely gotten a hit in... the scariest part is that he doesn't seem to know how to use Ki... I'm sorry Don but I will see to it he dies right now*

"Hey Dan, this guy has fought with us using our weapons and even though he knows he's not going to win, he's pushing himself to surpass his limit…He's annoying me. Weak people who don't know when they should give up annoy me. I'm going to use my powers, don't interfere." Don said as he placed his weapon on the ground.

*Well, guess it can't be helped* Dan thought, then proceeded to say, "Humm. I definitely understand why but you know we aren't supposed to use our powers or kill humans from earth… then again No one will know you used them here hehehe. Just make sure you end it fast Don, plus it seems that the other two are thinking of using it as well humm." ~ Dan

[back to Ashley's fight]

Ashley knocks them both back and says "you guys don't compare to the ones we fought the other day."

"Jeff there's no choice we got to use our powers against her" ~Luke

"It pains me to say it luke, but it looks like we have to… there's a reason they call her wind demon. She hasn't even used her powers and we cant even beat her as we are." ~Jeff

Boom* … all of a sudden the air around jeff and luke started changing, Ashley just stared at both of them nonchalantly..

Jeff's hands started transforming and his teeth were growing simultaneously. Into Bear type features.

On the other hand, Luke's feet were transforming and getting hairy and orange… resembling that of a cheetah.

The air calms down... in the blink of an eye they were both in front of Ashley about to finish her off…

"in the end you were too confident thinking you can take us transformed by yourself hahaha." jeff whispers…
