35 Stormy Seas

As some who have watched and read through the original story of Luffy sailing through the seas to become the Pirate King, Nate thought that he knew what the GrandLine is and how to transverse it.

But watching it from a screen compared to experiencing it live is a completely different situation, if sailing on the NorthBlue was like riding a cycle then sailing through the GrandLine is like flying an F-22 Raptor through heavy winds.

After waiting about an hour or so at Twin Capes the Log Pose was ready and with their destination set Nate and the crew set sail, although he was disappointed that he wasn't able to meet the Island Whale there will be more chances in the future.

Few minutes into the seas and the reason why people call the GrandLine a hell on earth became apparent as the skies darkened almost instantly and it started to rain, the only problem was that each drops of the rain was as larger than their ship. Falling of any one of those drops on top of the ship was already bad enough but they have to also watch out for the HUGE waves formed after these rain drops are splashed into the sea.

Thankfully three among the four was capable of using Observation Haki which was further strengthened in the case of Rin with the help of her enhanced senses. Using this they were able to somewhat sail through the rain, this also reminded Nate of the fact that they were severely shorthanded to sail through such a rough sea.

Following rain was winds that threatened to tear apart the ship's sails to lightning strike that almost burned down their mast. Rin was the major player that helped them survive as her animal like hearing, smell, touch and sight helped them ride through the sea.

Currently Nate was manning the helm while Sasaki was up in the crow's nest, Rin was inside helping Soma improve on his close combat skills. Of the four of them Soma was the weakest with only his devil fruit to his strength, Nate and Rin were anomalies with the way they gained their strength and Sasaki was from the New World a place even harsher and demanding than first half of GrandLine. If Soma isn't able to improve his strength rapidly then he will end up facing challenges that might end up killing him while sailing with the rest of them. Although based on what Nate knew from the original it will be hard to find such challenges in the Paradise side of the GrandLine.

Few more hours or so until their first island, with no idea whether it's Whisky Peak like from the original or some other island due to the different kinds of routes available, Nate was waiting eagerly.

Borsalino also known as Kizaru, an Admiral of the Marines walked in to the office of the Fleet Admiral after he was summoned. Sengoku could be seen inside the office sitting on his chair drinking some green tea.

"Sengoku-san, I heard you were asking for me…." said Kizaru as he walked over and sat down on the couch.

"Indeed I did, I need you to travel to the area near the entrance of the Reverse Mountain." stated Sengoku as sipped on his tea.

"Near Reverse Mountain?" asked a confused Kizaru "Why would need an Admiral to travel down to such a place?"

"I think we have found the culprit behind 'that' incident from NorthBlue."

"That incident?... Ahh..But how did you find the criminal? I thought we had nothing to go after."

"We did have something, the killer seemed to have the power to use electricity and extremely high agility." said Sengoku

"Yes.. The report indeed contains something like that but isn't there tribe of creatures from the New World capable of such feats. Isn't that why we ruled that out as possible lead? "

"Hmm.. Yes, the Minks from Zou are capable of an ability called the 'Electro' but there has been a recent development from NorthBlue." said Sengoku as he passed on the reports left on top of his desk.

Once Kizaru went through the report he seemed have understood the gist of things as he asked Sengoku.

"I see.. It is indeed too much of coincidence.. Especially with that blue hair.. Isn't that one of the features of the killer that we were able to identify?

"Yes, that's why I want you to go after these pirates. There is no room for failure with this one."

"Alright Sengoku-san, but it will take few weeks for me to reach there."

"No problem, Marine Bases there will be informed to delay them."

"Ok then.. I will return once I have executed this Walker D. Nate." said Kizaru as he got up from where he sat and walked out of the office.
