27 Crisis!!

While Soma was reminiscing about his past, an entire battalion of soldiers were marching towards Azuremendi Francescanis. By now Nate and Rin had their fill and where preparing to leave the restaurant when numerous soldiers surrounded the place. They blockaded the restaurant preventing anyone from entering and exiting, Nate and Rin silently returned to their seats prepared to watch a show. Nate was able to guess the origin of these soldiers and wanted to see how that young chef will deal with it.

The soldiers were really aggressive and as soon as some entered the restaurant they started to smash apart the tables and chairs while some of them assaulted the waiters, and within seconds the entire place was a mess and hearing the noise every chef and staff present in the restaurant gathered.

When Soma saw the status of the restaurant, he was enraged but the old head chef caught him by his hand talked to him.

"Don't be rash!! Calm down let me talk to them."

Joichiro walked up to the soldiers and asked them polite but bravely.

"What's the meaning of this?!!! Why are you assaulting my restaurant and it's staff?! I hope you have a reasonable explanation, if not I will be forced to consult the Mayor regarding this."

While Joichiro was hoping hear an explanation regarding the entire ruckus, a fat man walked into the restaurant.

"Joichiro!! Your son has stirred up trouble once again and this time even I can't help you out."

"Rayn!! Why are you here and what do you mean by trouble?!!" asked Joichiro to the recently arrived Mayor while confused.

"The gentleman and lady assaulted by your son a while ago are the prince and princess of the NorthStar Kingdom!! Their father, the king has commanded his soldiers to apprehend him and if he resist the entire restaurant will be burned down. Someone as lowly as me couldn't possible stand up against him." said the Mayor Ryan.

Joichiro, Soma and the rest of the staff of the restaurant were shocked when their heard the Mayor, it was even more shocking when he said that those two where the prince and princess of the defacto rulers of the North Blue.

"Rayn!! Can't something be done?!! I beg you!! As an old friend of mine could you please help me?!!" asked Joichiro desperately.

"I am sorry Joichiro!! I can't help you with this one!! Even I won't be able to keep my head if I enrage the king." said Ryan "I suggest that you surrender that brat to the king, it might calm him down let you and your people off the hook."

Joichiro was started panicking when he heard the Mayor, on one side his son and on the other side the lives of his employees, he couldn't decide on which. While he was furiously thinking of a solution, Soma walked up to the soldiers and spoke to them.

"I will surrender on a condition!!" he stated "I want you to guarantee that this restaurant and it's staff will remain unharmed."

Nate who was watching the entire fiasco was impressed by the young chef's loyalty, while Rin just nodded her clearly approving of the young man's actions. Joichiro was awakened from his panic when he heard Soma and he started shouting at him.

"You idiot!!! Get back here!! This old man here doesn't need someone to save his ass. I will come with you and apologize to the king, I am pretty sure he will be benevolent to let you off."

"Old man!! Let take of this!! I am the cause of this trouble, I will handle it. And besides even if you don't need saving, you need to worry about rest of the staffs." said Soma with his back facing Joichiro "Besides it's not confirmed that the King he is calling me to punish, he might be calling me to thank me for disciplining his kids."

"Hmm!! Enough talking, I can't guarantee your conditions but I can make a request to the King." said the Mayor while some soldiers came forward to handcuff Soma.

Soma knew that he won't be able to escape or fight back against the King's soldiers without dragging in his father and rest of the members of the restaurant, his only option now was to to surrender peacefully and hope that the King will take out his wrath out on him instead of his family.

Joichiro wanted to stop the solider's but he was conflicted knowing that many lives will be at stake if he did. He walked up to the Mayor and grabbed his arm and with a desperate face pleaded to him.

"Please!! I beg you!! Put out some good words to the King for my son!!"

"I will try my best." said Ryan while facing way.

The soldiers along with the Ryan and Soma left the restaurant and started marching back to the palace. The atmosphere inside the restaurant was gloomy, with many waiters and chefs talking to Joichiro and trying to ease him.

Nate sat there pondering for sometime and then made a decision, he turned towards Rin and spoke while smirking.

"Since we had our food, how about we go do some exercise!!"
